I would guess that because it is a bit of a fan related sport. If you see that Mbappe may not join your team, or maybe he would but there is no guarantee and you go ahead and spend your money on some other striker and suddenly Mbappe decides not to come to Real Madrid anyway, then it is going to be a tough one without a doubt.

I think it would be smarter to actually wait for the summer, try to get Mbappe and if he doesn't come then you can tell the fans that you tried and he just didn't come and put the blame on Mbappe instead of the team management. This is why they are going to play a season without a striker, Joselu is there to be fair but I doubt he would be used all that much, and they will wait until summer to not make the fans angry.

Watching Aleksandar Mitrovic's career path is incredibly fascinating. His tenure at Newcastle, in my opinion, did little to advance his personal development. But a lot changed when he relocated to Fulham. I believe that the Fulham environment aided him in succeeding and highlighted the player's true potential. Honestly, I also find it a little difficult to get real information from this Mbappe problem. All clubs have prepared everything, especially various actions to fix problems at their clubs, well last season Fulham were relegated and this season they indirectly have to be able to prove to all their fans that they can go one step further in the competition that has just started. IMO, Marco Alonso is actually very useful as a second tier player. but sometimes this player's performance fluctuates. Marcos Alonso is already 32 years old. He is going to perform worse as days goes on. But I thought Barcelona could still use him because he is honestly not that bad. And when I remember that Barcelona does not have much money, I wonder if selling him is actually going to be a good idea for Barcelona. If they are thinking about saving money, I think it is good because they will be spending less money as salary. They will also have some money which will help them to get out of the huge amount of debt that they have.
