I assume they are going to try their luck in January already. But I think it won't be easy to convince him. Because if you remember Barcelona also wanted him and the money was also ready. But as far as I know, his big brother Iñaki Williams asked him to stay for another season. This resulted in his staying at Athletic Bilbao. I would really like to watch him play for a top team honestly. He has a big talent and shouldn't waste it there. Arsenal would be a really good choice for his style as well. I think he will adapt to Premier League football too. I am not sure if this deal is going to work out, not because Arsenal cannot afford him but because I see him likely going to play for Barcelona than any other team now. His relationship with Lamine Yamal made me said that as it was already going to work out last seasons but later failed. He may just be adding only this season in his current club and will take his leave to a bigger club soon. Barcelona may still be in need of him and if they’re still, he’ll likely be going there to play than going to Arsenal. A very young and talented player he his that can really fit will for Arsenal’s style of play in the forward position, and I think he would have his best season so far if he joins a bigger club soon.

Nico Williams transfer is indeed wanted by Arteta. This move will help him to overcome injured players. Saka is also reported to be injured, so Arteta needs to get a player with speed like Nico Williams. Arsenal will definitely need some players with good skills to rotate. You are right, that is because the match schedule is quite tight and to maintain player fitness, Arteta must think of several players who can share positions to minimize the risk of injury.
Since Mikel Arteta has identified Nico Williams as a potential player for the club, I think he will be able to fit in perfectly at Arsenal. Nico Williams is a fast, tricky winger which fit perfectly into Arteta’s style of play. I believe Arteta should be able to convince Nico Williams to sign for Arsenal because Arsenal are a bigger club than Atletico Bilbao. Uhm the way i see it among all the players listed in Artetas agenda only Nico Williams seems more interested in. Arsenal has identified Nico William as their top target for the January transfer window. One problem with that club and they need to tackle it very fast if not they wont win any title in the next four years is the problem of releasing money to get players. Every transfer window you will here news of players who they want to buy but they wont buy them. The management needs to release money now for the club to solve all this. Imaging if they dont sell one or more players they wont buy any players. I also heard Arteta had eyes for Cunha and Isak or the fans are just pushing the idea to him?

we still don't know where Nico Williams' transfer will go. because there were rumors a few months ago when he was linked with Barca but he said he had a dream of playing for Madrid. if Madrid also seriously wants to join the competition to bring in Nico Williams with Arsenal, maybe Arteta could be disappointed. but Nico Williams also has to consider his placement situation in the team. the guarantee of playing in the squad with more playing minutes must be considered. it would be very disappointing if a talent like him were more on the bench than on the field. Nico Williams would also like to join Arsenal if the club is truly willing to buy him. As for Real Madrid, I don't believe they are interested in him because they are in better form and already have all of the essential players they require. Is only Alexander-Arnold that Real Madrid are targeting in this transfer windows, but I see like Liverpool are still interested in him, and I think Liverpool doesn't want him to move to Madrid right now because he is still helping them in the club, and if Liverpool doesn't sell him out, I think he will be a free agent, and Madrid will definitely get him for free because he hasn't renewed his contract with the club and am sure he as interest of playing in real madrid. let see how the transfer window goes. Am just thinking that Arsenal will get the player Williams because I see arsenal are lacking some players so if th get him arsenal will be more stronger then before in the league competition and achieve the title because Arteta isjut trying but didn't get the title for arsenal almost how many times is usually perform poor when the season is getting to and end.

The mid season transfer market will not have too many great players available, most of them prefer to finish a full season before leaving the club. So even if there are players available, it is based on declining quality while playing at the club and are forced to be sold. The most exciting rumor will definitely happen at the end of the season where some great players can join a new team. While teams that are in an emergency need for additional players must lobby the club a little with a fairly high fee. I have summarized some interesting player rumors: sourceBarcelona, who could not get Dani Olmo's license, I do not think they can get Nkunku. Mo Salah and TAA may not want to leave Liverpool. Liverpool can take steps to sign new contracts with them. I think they deserve it. Still, TAA may not want to extend his contract to go to Real Madrid.

I don't understand why Liverpool are thinking so much about extending Salah's contract when Salah is still performing well in Premier League and Champions League for Liverpool. Mohamed Salah is now in Liverpool so Liverpool may not be able to properly evaluate Mohamed Salah. If Mohamed Salah ever leaves Liverpool for another club, Liverpool will understand his void well. Liverpool still have time to consider extending Mohamed Salah's contract. If there were any other club in Liverpool's place, maybe they would have extended Mohamed Salah's contract first and then they would have made other plans. Liverpool certainly don't want their performance to be adversely affected so they will try to do what is best for their club and I think for now it would be good for their club to extend Salah's contract.
Still crucial with negotiation for extending Mohamad Salah contract, actually Liverpool give option for one year contract extend and looks not good option for Salah want to get more than one year contract extend. Based on FIFA contract regulation, Mohamad Salah have allow for negotiation contract with other club because he has six months left before contract expiring with Liverpool and both side still not reach agreement deal yet. I can't believing with Liverpool why still waiting for to extend Salah's contract after consistent performance every season and he has amazing performance in this season leading the top scorer and top assists in premier league awhile. Loss Salah for next season become big fault for Liverpool and difficult to find who will replace his position at left winger side? Salah wanted two years at very least, and idk why Liverpool is so reluctant in giving what he wanted. It's easy for them to fulfill what Salah wanted, but i'm only assuming Liverpool is considering Salah's age. He's old enough, but not for his performance. It's gonna be the biggest mistake if they lose him. It's hard to find someone who can carry them alone. They may miss their domination in various competitions if there will be no him on their side. I suggest Salah to remain in the club until the end of season, releasing him now will be a bad move for the club. Salah making everything possible on his own reach to meet up the clubs expectation not undermine his age difference between the rest players. Salah with the most goals so far in this season, isn't something ordinary for his age but right now with him doing exceptionally well he deserves his stay in the club, terminating him can increase their failure to secure the title because Salah does majority of the work when attacking, contributing to both goals and assist which has led them this far holding the top of the Premier League. Salah deservese even a great farewell for his departure.

Fenerbahçe are interested in Lens' stopper Kevin Danso, but the figures are incredibly high. Lens wanted 25 million Euro, Fenerbahçe offered 18 million Euro. Even this is a very high figure for a stopper. Mourinho wants the player. I think it's a big gamble. Turkish teams have never spent such big money for a stopper. They usually spend big money on midfielders and strikers. Kevin Danso is a good stopper and in his prime. There are teams from the German and Spanish leagues watching him but there is no official offer yet. I think he is a top defender too, but I think the figures for Turkish clubs are too high. If the player gets injured, all the investment is wasted.

But Liverpool don't seem to want to include him in their squad planning. I think the best name on the list is Marcus Thuram. Many clubs are interested in him. According to press reports, Barcelona, Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in him. Leandowski is having a great season this year. But he's 36 years old. Marcus Thuram could be his alternative for Barcelona.

Arsenal would really be a great future for Nico Williams, to be fair it's really tough for Bilbao to lose players like this, they only get players for ma certain region and when there is a great player from that region like Nico, it's really hard for them to let him go, so a 48 million transfer deal would not be a good one for them, because lets face it there are no players from the region that worths 48 million or less and could be better, so they are going to get worse after this deal.
However, this would be good deal for Arsenal and Nico, first of all 48 is nothing for Arsenal, they could pay that and move on without any issues, and that is why I honestly believe Arsenal would be incredibly happy with this deal. And for Nico, he has grown as much as he can with Bilbao, I do not think that he could grow any further, with Arsenal deal, he could not only make more money, but he could fight for a title at premier league, and maybe even win one eventually.

Nope, it's not the right step for him to move to Barcelona because the Catalan giants are already in financial criticism, and if they signed Nico Williams probably he would also be leaving soon as like Dani Olmo because Barcelona has an FFP rule, and they couldn't find any success to get a 1:1 ration. So that's why I don't think that Nico Williams will agree on Barcelona negotiations to sign him permanently.
You should try to have a better idea of things before you speak about them. Barcelona is back in 1:1 rule which means they can spend as much as they earn. The reason they've not been able to register is a whole different reason. They registered Olmo for the end of the end of the year and sacrificed the registration of Christensen. They believed they will be back to 1:1 rule by January so they weren't bothered but now La Liga has refused to register the player based on some technicalities, and the contract Olmo signed with Barcelona there was a clause for him to leave for free if he couldn't be registered. So Barcelona won't have any issues registering Nico if they sign him. That being said, both Barcelona and Arsenal are good destinations for Arsenal. he will certainly strengthen Arsenal's attack so much. With Saka on the other wing, having a player like Nico on the left will be a very good addition, but the problem is that Arsenal is not as ambitious a club as Barcelona. Despite the fact that Barcelona are not at their best right now, they have a higher chance of winning trophies more than Arsenal and if he's leaving a club like Bilboa, he should certainly go for a club where he can win trophies. Plus he will adapt quicker in Barcelona because he knows the league he has a lot of teamamnets from the natuonsl team there.

West Ham board to sack Julen Lopetegui Julen lopetegui could now be sacked by West Ham after the crushing defeat against Manchester City on Saturday, according to James Gheerbrant. Erling Haaland scored twice as Phil Foden and a Vladimir Coufal own-goal condemned the Hammers to a 4-1 defeat on 4 January, with Niclas Fullkrug scoring a consolation. Lopetegui may have been hit by the final dagger of his West Ham career after yet another heavy defeat, with his sack now possible tonight, it seems. Writing for The Times from The Etihad Stadium, Gheerbrant shared what could now happen following yet another defeat for the Irons. “It was an afternoon when Manchester City rediscovered some of their swagger - - and, perhaps, when Julen Lopetegui’s West Ham United tenure received a final dagger,” he wrote : <"a clinical three goal burst either side of half time decided this contest and ensured pep's team would win two games in a row for the first time since october. but this was also a strange game whose final scoreline belied how vulnerable man city often looked and how many chances west ham created.”>

Barcelona is still a little confusing for me because after all, the situation is still unclear, especially the news about Dani Olmo which makes me dizzy but it is reported that they have received a large injection of funds so it is possible that they can improve their poor balance sheet because in the end their performance will suffer as long as this problem cannot be resolved. For Trent Alexander-Arnold I still expect him to be in Madrid but with Liverpool's decision to refuse to release Trent at least until the end of the season then indeed I think Madrid will still only continue to wait for a decision from Trent whether he will extend his contract with Liverpool or eventually switch to Madrid as a free player. Now the real decision lies with Trent himself and he must decide what he considers best for the continuation of his career for now.

However, only one club can get him and maybe, that will be Liverpool. Barcelona is financially down, if not they would have been able to bring him to Camp Nou.

So that's why I don't think that Nico Williams will agree on Barcelona negotiations to sign him permanently. Besides that Also, Arsenal would be the best destination for him because Arsenal has no restrictions and they can easily keep Nico Williams more. All these possibilities aside but I fully believe that Athletic Bilbao will not let him to leave the club because He just signed a contract in last December till 2027 and the club is keen to keep him more. So that's why I think he will stay at Athlatice Bilbao.
Barcelona get an injection of funds with the sale of their VIP box so that they can still find players and provide guarantees that they will still be comfortable playing at Camp Nou even though we don't know whether the salary problem will be hampered as it has been or not. Actually, a move to Barcelona is not a bad thing because this is also still a good enough club to make a career more secure but in the end there is still a risk where financial problems that always hamper them make this need to be considered for several players especially for those who are starting to develop like Nico Williams. But moving to the EPL is also still a real challenge because after all we know that the EPL is sometimes not a friendly place for some players especially with the different tension between La Liga and the EPL this can make a new adaptation which when it fails then the career will also fade a little. Ansu Pati and Savio are recent examples where in La Liga they are very good but the contribution in the EPL is minimal although for Ansu it may be understandable because of the injuries he always receives but still he is a failure when joining the EPL so this could be another consideration for Nico Williams.

Another rumour about Barcelona. Would they really be okay with selling Raphinha to raise funds now? I don't think so honestly. If it is said for Frenkie de Jong then I wouldn't be surprised. It is obvious he is going to leave soon. But Barcelona can't run the risk of losing a very beneficial player like Raphinha these days. It would be a big hit to their attacking line at the same time. You know how much he has contributed to the goals so far. Hansi Flick would stand against such decision in the first place. He wouldn't like to lose any of his best performers. By the way I have heard Lewandowski also said a thing like he would leave this summer in case the team brings another striker.

A small rumor is growing. Dugulas Luiz actually in Italy but basically never player is wanted by Guardiola at Manchester City.
If this will be true, he will leave in January since so far he proven basically 0 in Italy.
The rumor claims that he will be the sub for Rodri.
The absence of Rodri is so felt in Man City and it seems as if he is the heart of the club judging by the status of Man City just because of his absence. This shows the lapses in the management of Guardiola because Man City is a rich club, no absence of a player should have been felt this much. If bought, I hope that Douglas Luiz can do the work and ease the issue, and I tell you that this is becoming more of a reality than a rumour, though shocking. Many trusted news outlets are emphasising it, at least till yesterday. Manchester City are looking to loan Douglas Luiz from Juventus, in an attempt to cover Rodri absence. I think it's the right move, Pep Guardiola is in dire need of reinforcements in the defensive midfield, and the former Aston Villa man could be a good fit for the short-term. Douglas Luiz has not had much playing time this season with Juventus, Manchester City could use that to lure him to the Etihad. The impact of losing Rodri is deeply felt, with Manchester City now facing a nearly impossible task to defend their Premier League trophy. Rodri has been absent since September last year, and Manchester City has confirmed that Rodri will most likely only be available again at the end of the season. If Pep Guardiola does not recruit new players in this transfer window, Manchester City may continue to experience ups and downs of performance until the end of the season. In the annal of Manchester city games in past seasons so far one will think that Pep Gardiola is one coach that don't build his team around one single player or more like it that a player like KDB was a key aspect of the Manchester city successes more than any other player in the midfield position. But the absence of Rodri on account of injury has cast some light to the Rodri's role amidst KDB. I thought and heard differently, Man city is the club where people widely believed that they have up to 2 reserves for every key spots on the pitch. It's easier to praise clubs and coaches when they are reigning and the ovation is very loud and are also consistent with it. But when challenges come, their lapses/weaknesses can easily be revealed. This is what is happening to Man City now, is it for the money? They have it, it's all about unpreparedness and technical lapses.

In my opinion, Barcelona should not focus on selling players who are part of the starting 11, they should focus on getting players from their academy to play because that way they can make their academy players more valuable and when they win titles they can sell these players for high prices and with that Barcelona's financial situation would be stable. It is not smart for a club in poor financial condition to keep making new signings.
Luiz Felipe is leaving the Saudi league to play in the French league, he will play for Olympique Marseille https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1875596162276979029

It is not smart for a club in poor financial condition to keep making new signings. selling of key player like Rafinha even if the club is in dear need of fund will further frustrate them because these two players are the powerhouse of the club that play a pivotal role in how well the club is currently performing. what the club needs is to find complementary players that will pair well with raphinah and not even sell the ones that are even doing well for them. the issue of putting business first before considering the role players perform in club is one that affects the strength of a club and that if not properly managed can cause the club to experience more losses than the gain they hope to have by selling of players. even if Madrid already have a lot of players and are currently having some financial issue, they will prefer to keep their key players that are instrumental to their positive performance even if selling them will yield short term profit. raphinah is doing really fine and should be left to continue playing for the club.

Selling their captain and their best attacker now because of financial crisis will be among the dumbest idea Barcelona management has come up to fix their financial issues. Raphinha has already been tipped as being among the coming ballon d'Or contenders if Barcelona can win a remarkable trophy and him helping his National team to do well in any competition, which he is currently doing now. After recent years I don't think they have come close to see their player winning this award now since Messi left and they have a chance before Lamine Yamal might get to become one.

Raphinha have been Barcelona's best player this season so I find it very awkward to learn that the club management is reportedly willing to sell him so they can sign a younger attacker like Jamal Musiala or Nico Williams. Frenkie De Jong have been the highest paid player in Spain for too long even when he's not contributing much to the club so I think he should be the one to leave so that Barcelona can create a room for a new player to come in and not to allow offload a huge asset like Raphinha

It is true, it is difficult to understand what Liverpool wants, when many parties, especially the fans, expect M Salah to be maintained. What is happening with M Salah at this time is quite strange, he has shown extraordinary performance by leading the list of top scorers in the Premier League, the management and club officials should not need to think twice about renewing their star contract. Maybe Liverpool are trying to balance the financial balance, they have not been able to meet the salary demands desired by M Salah, although the club basically wants to keep him next season. M Salah openly said that there has been no progress regarding his contract status which will expire in June, and he is currently determined to win the Premier League and Champions League trophies.
