Every coach has decision to determine who he will use and who he will throw away, Amorim does need support to be able to bring in players to improve the squad he leads so that he can stay on the right track and can prove progress.
I sure that no coach can really improve Manchester United performance without changes in the composition of the players, if only rely on the current one, maybe it can still develop little but it is still not enough to really be able to create new breakthrough with better quality strength.

I am confused you say Amorim should not rush and should utilize the available players. While now the available players are not able to push in a better direction, if at the end of the season they blame Amorim for the decline, then shouldn't Amorim recruit players to anticipate that? think about it !!

If Amorim recruits players and the results are still the same I think Amorim will be more pressured by the fans and he will be compared to Erik Ten Hag who wasted money to buy players but the results were zero. If I remember correctly, this rumor's earliest source is not credible at all. I replied to this thread about the same thing a few pages ago. I don't know if other journalists report the same thing after that, but I'd not count on it. Even if this is true, Man City needs more players to fill in other positions, such as CDM or RB which costs them more than a lack of goals in the last few games IMO.

I don't think so. I don't think it's bad for Ruben Amorim trying to implement his structural tactics in Manchester United as the head coach. His traditional formation 3-4-2-1 is a decent formation which helped him to gain recognition. I am convinced it's not about the formation, Manchester United players are all lazy and not technically sound. And even if Ruben Amorim decides to change the formatio, without the players having a positive mindset it would be hard for him to achieve success at the club.

You took your time to write a long post so I believe you’re very invested in the Osimhen transfer news like most of us. I believe the reason why Galatasaray are reportedly been linked with Mikautadze is likely due to the potential departure of Victor Osimhen. I have always known that Osimhen will not stay at Galatasaray no matter how happy he seems to be there. His ambitions trumps happiness. It’s expected for him to move to a bigger clubs once the transfer window opens. I don't think the players are lazy, but maybe they are not tactically fit. Sporting had built their own team in Lisbon and transferred the best players. Also, it is easier to achieve success in the Portuguese League than the Premier League. The Premier League is a difficult league. There is more than one strong team. Are you suggesting that Guardiola called Messi's emergency number after waking up during the night full of nightmares and sweating like hell because in those dreams he found himself coaching Manchester City in League One? Jokes aside I am sure that Pep Guardiola would love to have a 25 years old Messi on his team now. As thrilling this rumor is, there is no serious source talking about it except for some outlets from India and discussions on Reddit going on, but this would be bombshell news!

But no, I don't think Messi himself would feel right about that move. Unless he is really in it to win it and risk quite a bit of his reputation because if he were to go and then sink along with the Manchester City ship this season, the malice would be colossal I suppose. It's a bad decision by TAA, he should extend his contract for one year and have a clausal to join other team in the last six month contract ends. So, he can observe whether Liverpool or Real Madrid is better in the next season.

In this season Liverpool looks like able to win everything, there's a chance Liverpool can achieve quadruple in this season (EFL, FA, Premier League and Champions League).
