As long as he defended Liverpool he will be a player who is one level above Cleverley. I often see him playing good with high spirits, while Cleverley, I never saw that he was a good midfielder. At this young age Emre often amazes me.

Last year's preseason I thought Liverpool was a serious team after they had beaten Barcelona in the preseason game and the kind of pressure games they were playing but I later realized these guys are turning the team into another Arsenal (buying and selling) team without having the fans feelings at heart. I likewise doubt if they will be able to qualify for the Europa too if they keep messing up the team without good replacements.

About Coutinho and Liverpool  If they were going to sell him anyway, they should have done it at the beginning of the transfer window.  They knew Barca had their sites on Coutinho and yet they underestimated how the player really wanted the transfer.  They should have anticipated this so that the club would have had enough time buying more players to bolster the squad.

He only has 1 year left on his contract. I read that they are in talks, the contract right not get renewed until next season but for sure, I don't think he is to be sold this summer.

if Barcelona thinks that Paulinho will make over the service of Naymer then they are wrong. Paulinho is a good player but he is not fit to play in the La Liga. the Spanish football is far far ahead of China football. so Paulinho needs to take a time to adjust to Spanish football. if Barcelona didn't show indifference to buy their desirable footballer at the starting of the summer transfer then they would be able to sign the better player than Paulinho. but at the end of the transfer window, they have nothing to do except this. certainly, they are not going to win any trophy this coming season like the previous season.
