I think that Bale lost his level due to his many injuries. Also, Gareth Bale is a player who like spaces and open games wich is exactly like premier league games. La liga is more defencive especailly when teams face Real Madrid or Barcelona and Gareth can't shine in these situations. I believe he should get back to the Premier league to regain his skills.

Gareth Bale could have left Real Madrid Next Summer if he gets a regular season this season. I agree his performance has declined lately but if he returns to England, whatever his club he will get his best game again.

But if you think about it, where would a player go after Real Madrid or Barca?  Unless he's at retirement age or something, there's nowhere else to go.  It would be like a downgrade, unless the player gets a lucky deal like Neymar to PSG.

it's normal that Coutinho didn't participate against City today he is not ready mentally and physically so it was the right decision for not naming him and if they got home playing it wouldn't make anything significant he could also featured as a sub but yet again he is not mentally ready next game is against Sevilla at home and it's very important one because Sevilla is their main rival in  Champions league group stages and we could get him to feature in couple minutes to get him fully came back in Burnley game at home by then he could be ready to start his season again with the reds
