Finally... He was heavily linked with a move away from ajax so I knew it was bound to happen. Although it's still too early to say whether Van de Beek would shine in EPL, I know for a fact that he would be a solid addition to Man Utd's midfield. I'm looking forward to seeing how he partners with both Fernandes and Pogba. They should now concentrate on closing the deal for Sancho.

sancho is a good player, but a proven striker such as Hary Kane will be a great choice for united (IMO).

I still don't think that this was his main goal this time. He was simply frustrated with the sporting trend at Barcelona. And I don't think he will get a "fatter" contract at Barca this time. He will probably fulfill his contract because no one can pay the 700 million buyout clause and because the deadline for him to terminate the contract was missed. In 2021 he will be a free agent and then there will a huge bidding which club can offer him the biggest signing fee. Wasn't there a rumour that City could pay him 250 million for the signing and 100 million in a yearly salary? I am sure PSG will also want to have a say in this.

The deal between Barca Juventus and Suarez seems done but he has a bureaucratic problem with his extra-EU passport, it will be an easy problem to fix according to them.

The law between the Italian and Spanish governments is different for passport regulation and they need to change some things.

I have heard a rumor that everything has been agreed and that Juve are just waiting for Suarez to officially get his new Italian passport, to which he is entitled by his wife Balbi,  an Italian.
So,  he would play for Juve as an EU player.

Couple of days ago I also pointed out this report of Dzeko being linked with Juventus but with Suarez being almost done I don't think that they will go for Dzeko if they seal Suarez for sure. And also I don't think Juventus are planning to have two old players for same role.

Btw it will be good to see Suarez along with Chiellini.

It looks like a transfer of Javi Martínez to Athletic Club is getting closer. FC Bayern München is asking €12m, while Athletic Club doesn't want to pay that much for the 32 year-old midfielder. Suarez and chiellini has moved on passed that incident am sure, what am not sure is juventus long term commitment they shouldn't be a container where old players are deposited, this is the biggest Italian club right now, the got delight to boost there defense which is a good buy and a young player, they should go for young talent -some grown if it's needed-

Very happy to see Suarez playing there now, but not sure how it will work out because they still need to understand that guy gets injured quite a lot now in his age. Of course, when he is fit he is a monster. Definitely the last old player they can get for now.

I think only an FA cup would save his head, IF he can get top 4 at the same time and reach at least QF in champs league. Chelsea have such a strong squad now, if he doesn't get them to gel together this season and fix the defensive issues, then he's definitely out. As much as they look good on paper now, can't really say how they will do this.

I was just thinking about this when I saw Havertz is coming for his medical.
Lampard did a great job with Chelsea when he had no pressure - he had a decent young team with room to grow and a season in which he only had to reach top 4.
Now, with this kind of investment, he will be expected to challenge both domestically and in Europe and it will be too much for them - Chelsea simply isn't at that level yet.

@LFC_Bitcoin yea there’re chances that Lampard could be sacked this season if Chelsea perform poorly in all the competitions, but in my personal opinion he’ll need at least one full season to work with the squad, and even if Chelsea don’t win anything then too they should not sack him, and instead give him time to turn this Chelsea squad into serial winner’s. @slaman29 indeed on paper they look unbeatable, but in their friendlies they only managed to draw the match, hence only time will tell if Abramovich investments will pay off or no.
