Leo Messi returns to Barca training after 11 days long break, however a great news for the catalonians. Feeling great to see him back in action since he was asking to leave the club. What do you think, this is win-win situation for both or not?
Feeling great of having one player who do not want to play with you anymore and probably will leave for free in 10 months?

It is not a win win situation. I would describe it as a lose-lose. Messi do not want to stay at the club and he will be demotivated to play competitively there. Also Barcelona fans do not want them as he has declared that he want to leave showing disrespect to the club.

I don't think it's right to be considered "Lose-Lose" because Messi has many places outside Barcelona. Meanwhile, Barcelona needs Messi. If Messi left as a free transfer player, then the winner is Messi, who makes the club that raised him not getting money. An expensive player leaves the club without giving money to the club, so the loser is Barcelona, Messi doesn't lose even though in the end he is not considered a Barcelona legend. One thing that might change Messi's decision is when Barcelona have the chance to win at the end of the season if there are no more clubs willing to bid Messi on the half-season break transfer.

I'm simple guy only love to watch Messi on the pitch, having no interest what's politics are going on. Anyway, At the end this is his decision whether he stay or not.

I guess if Barcelona makes no positive progress in the coming season Messi will be leaving to the next possible Date. Or he just plays this only this year in Barca and will be end his soccer career there then . Also i think the next steps for Messi will depends on how good the new Coach is and how they are connected.

Same thought I had but to be honest it's hard for me to believe that Messi will make that decision so fast after he has already took back what he said in the first time

Training is going to be awkward for the first few days Koeman is a tough guy, he will not take Messi’s crap. Messi needs to get his head down & work hard, he has a lot of making up to do.

About the Suarez situation:
-He asked the Italian National ID 18 months ago since his wife is a Italian citizen -He probably needs to do the Italian exam and he will be probably done online -Juventus is working from 1 week 24/24 on this situation -Suarez and Juventus and Barca have the deal done -The deal at this point can be broke only for some burocratic problem.

I think Messi will stay at Barca as a maximum active player for the next 2-3 season and after that I am sure he will choose to retire and start learning something new about football. Dont think he will move to another club and continue his football career there. Regarding the new Barcelona coach, I think Messi has to be professional and he has to do his job as a player and obey all the coachs instruction and give his best for the team. Barcelona is a team even though Messi status is a star but the achievement of the team is much more important.

I don’t think Messi will play in Europe for any other club but Barcelona. I guess it’s possible he may finish his career in the US or back to Argentina but I definitely don’t see him at any other European club.

Yes after this all most chances he is not going in any European club after end his contract here he will depature to MLS or Argentina because his country's President already plea him to join his old club and end your career here.

~snip~ It's just so stupefying to see those earners .. crazy salary to have 1 million usd monthly just for playing football .. a hobby that print you money! Dammit i should have go to football academy instead a regular school and college. I just can't take back the time i wasted. However if I'm not mistaken cristiano wage is 1 million per week at juventus. and Luis suarez also reportedly looking to gain Italian citizenship ahead of a move to Juventus instead just the language test , is this for real? Am i the only one who seeing this news? The tax system in Italy is what makes a move to Italy even more lucrative for Suarez and Co. Probably one of the main reasons Juve managed to lure Ronaldo to them. They only have to pay a flat 100.000 € tax on every income from outside of Italy. So whatever they earn from their own companies, sponsoring deals or real estates, they only have to pay a 100k € tax. Pretty good when you almost pay no tax on a multi million dollar advertising contract for example.

Barcelona is a team even though Messi status is a star but the achievement of the team is much more important. Messi officially said that he intended to be a free agent this season even though he still has a contract with Barcelona and the problem is Barcelona didn't want that to happen, that alone where a team denies a player to some kind of freedom will just loosen their relationship even more which makes me think that his relationship or playing career with Barca will just be limited to the remaining duration of his contract. Him playing for another big name club is still a possibility it might not be as competitive as Barcelona but this team might still be relevant in terms of its fan base.

Don't judge too early, there is still enough time for him to play on the other European clubs before he retires. I don't think he will retire very soon, and I also believe he still has the desire to try playing on the other European clubs like what CR7 has done. Even finally Messi may be back in Argentina, he should consider playing on the other clubs in Europe first.

If he was to move somewhere else in Europe then he would have to join one of those two or agree to take a wage cut, possibly.

Thats really a good signing from Newcastle to bring Bournemouth's last season high scorer and striker Callum Wilson. I still recall him scoring in starting matches of PL last season. He will be a great addition to attacking unit of Newcastle along with Maximin. While on other hand Bournemouth seems to have lost two good players from their team already with Ake going to City earlier and now Wilson to Newcastle. From what I've heard there have been interest around Joshua King as well from Man Utd but I hardly think that's gonna happen.

But i don't think PSG can afford to pay Messi with such a high price now. Because they already have a lot of higher value player. Samples of the weekly salaries of some of the players of PSG - Neymar - 700 thousand Euro K Mbappe - 306 thousand Euro E Cavani - 355 thousand Euro T Silva - 305 thousand Euro So, I don't think PSG will take Messi to their team with such huge money. So, I think, Man City is only able to give this huge money to Messi.

You never know how things can turn around after a crisis. I think maybe some Barca fans will be wondering how their club will change and evolve,,, I know Bayern also had their big crisis two seasons ago and they switched around. Spurs will be wondering as well this season how we will change now our team is a shadow of our champions league finalists:)

Italian citizenship? That's crazy!
