If PSG sells Mbappe, they will probably have to bring another top name to replace him, otherwise they are risking that Neymar might ask to leave as well.
Messi to PSG makes sense, it would suit him to play in a dominant team at this stage in his career, so that he can keep his freshness for a few league derbies and CL football.
City could rotate him well too, but I'm not sure they will be able to afford him. Other than City and PSG, I really don't see who could go for him. United maybe?

If this transfer happens then I'd bet that PSG will win the champions league too, and I'd be willing to bet months in advance while the odds are high.
This transfer should be happen, neymar and messi have a good relationship and good duo in Barcelona. PSG have money to pay messi's salary. Of course this is become bad news for barcelona fans. But, messi wants happy ending in his career before retirement. Maybe the sweet memory for Messi's is in PSG

But, messi wants happy ending in his career before retirement. Maybe the sweet memory for Messi's is in PSG That would be weird, mbappe to real madrid makes sense because madrid was a bigger and better team than PSG for years, until very very recently as well, so that would be one player moves from one place to a better place. However messi going to PSG would be much much different. It just means PSG will spend that much money on someone who is on the older side, and can't provide too many seasons with them, and they would use almost all the money they would make from mbappe sale as well, thats not really a smart decision neither. Plus messi spent all his years with barcelona, leaving just at the end would make no sense neither. I do not really know why both PSG and Messi would want this, I think it makes no sense for both parties involved in this transfer.

Yeah, mbappe still young, maybe can give more positive results for PSG in the future, but if they are also wants to makes their "business" working, buying Messi will be good for their marketing as Ronaldo to Juventus. on the field, Messi with Neymar, is their projects for UCL, they wants to get UCL title, even mbappe is younger than Messi, but Messi's experience in UCL maybe can bring Champions title for them

I don't think he'll go with a club [Man U] that doesn't compete for titles on a regular basis. It just means PSG will spend that much money on someone who is on the older side, and can't provide too many seasons with them, and they would use almost all the money they would make from mbappe sale as well, thats not really a smart decision neither.
I have a feeling, he'll leave after his contract expires [next transfer window, not the upcoming one] so all they'll be paying is his wages [I do know it's a lot but it won't take a big portion of Mbappé's sale (if it happens)].

Agreed there, neither do I. I was just trying to analyze who could even offer him a deal. There aren't many mega teams there and most can't afford him or don't need to. Juve - already has Ronaldo, can't afford 2 superstars. Ronaldo is doing great there, they will keep him. Bayern - not the type of transfer that they do Inter - who goes to Inter?? Real - no chance Atletico - no chance, no money Liverpool - nope, they need to keep front 3 happy. Also not a type of transfer they would do Chelsea - overspent this summer, would be really hard to pull off That leaves us with: Barcelona - staying is an option, but if they don't qualify for the CL they will not be able to pay his salary PSG - makes sense from all angles City - makes sense from most, a little less than PSG United - they have the money and lack a superstar. Also, if anything screams Ed Woodward, it's bringing 35-year old Messi on a huge deal. So, United has to be considered as a potential option, but they have a chance only if the first 3 clubs from the list all decide they canot go for him.

Dele Alli is likely to leave Tottenham in the January transfer market. According to news i have read, Alli is not included in the list of players that Mourinho will choose for his strategy anymore. The club that wanted Alli was PSG. is it possible that PSG will bring this player?

No way Messi is going to United. That's Ronaldo's turf. If he ever moves to England, it's gonna be City for sure. Pep is there and so are Txiki and Ferran Soriano. Those three were instrumental to Messi's success. Anyway, any rumors on the manager sack race and their likely replacements? It seems like it's the more fun gambling market rn.

Slaven Bilić was just sacked by WBA. After drawing with City at the Etihad yesterday. WBA had no budget for new players during the summer and is honestly a horrible team. What were they expecting, a challenge for Champions League spots? Rumored replacement is Sam Allardyce, good luck to them. But bottom line - if they brought Pep and Klopp together, they'd still probably get relegated.

I agree it’s ridiculous, they would always be in a battle to not be relegated. Sam Allardyce is a terribly dull manager, awful style of play but he does have some reputation tor keeping less favoured teams in the PL.

Manchester United and Bayern Munich are interested in signing Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano according to some rumours. I think that Manchester United are regretful about signing Harry Maguire for €87.00m. I don't think that he is playing really good this season too. I think the reason for Bayern Munich trying to sign Upamecano could be that Boateng is 32 now and they might want to replace him with a young and talented defender.
I really like this guy but then again I am beginning to realize now more and more that the player and talent is worth much less than the club's system and manager that they are going to. Look at Lampard unable to bring out the best in Timo Werner and Kai Havertz, such a shame for two German nationals they are not doing anything in the league now for Chelsea.

They sacked the coach who brought them to the big leagues when no one expected it. They thanked him by not giving him the money to buy the right reinforcements and the WBA was the main favorite to drop out of the league from the start. Everyone, from WBA fans to players, supports Bilic but coach probably had a lot of a hard time with the owners when he criticised them for not bringing the right players to the club.

Or He just wants to go back to Madrid and take the full salary without doing a thing like Khedira. You can't force them to leave so they prefer doing nothing and take the full money, they have no respect not even in Covid time, these kind of players are a desease.

This is the risk of having a player with a high salary, it will be difficult to make him out of the club if it is not needed. This is most likely to happen to Gareth Bale, especially since Gareth Bale is no longer young, so it's better to finish his contract at Real Madrid. Instead of Bale deciding to move but getting a lower salary given by Madrid, Bale certainly chose to spend his contract at Real Madrid until 2022. Similar to what happened with Mesut Oezil at Arsenal, it is clear that Arsenal are not used his service, but Oezil chose to spend his contract with Arsenal. A player who only thinks about money is bad influence and has shame.

Truly terrific player but injured far too often & I question his desire & hunger for the game. Not a good move by Spurs, I will be surprised if he starts 10 PL games this season.

Yup, that Bale deal simply did not make any sense to me from the beginning. I wrote about it on the forum already, a good player in his prime but way off from it currently and not a good fit for Tottenham's current way of playing.
He will probably return to Madrid and sit on the sidelines for the last year of his contract and then end up in USA or somewhere like that on a huge salary again (United, I'm looking at you).

Same old story from every corner of the globe. Watford sacking their boss last season after he took them on a winning spree to get out of relegation,,, what did they think would happen to player morale after that? WBA getting a point from City and you sack your boss? The world is cruel. From a Spurs fan who remembers Poch.
