Leon Goretzka is in advanced talks with FC Bayern München about a new contract. The contract duration is not yet known, but it's very likely that Goretzka will extend his contract at FC Bayern. The current market value of the 26 year-old midfielder is about €70m. Leon Goretzka is already in advanced talks with FC Bayern over a new contract. The contract duration, however, is still unknown [@spox, @GoalDeutschland] Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1378484696703762445Leon Goretzka on a contract extension: "I feel very comfortable here. Bayern has helped me a lot in the last few years to take the next step. Therefore the tendency is clearly towards Bayern" [@ZDFsportstudio via @kerry_hau] Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1378483843846569984It'd be a wise choice for Bayern Munich to keep Goretzka at the team for a long term. He's played in 28 official matches so far. And he scored 8 goals and made 9 assists in these matches. He also scored the only goal in the Leipzig match the last and it was a very valuable goal that helped Bayern pull away from Leipzig in the table. So his contribution to the team is really great and I hope we can watch him at Bayern for many years.

A solid article on Haaland by the Independent: https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/european/erling-haaland-man-city-transfer-b1826859.htmlThey are correct - Raiola is enjoying this. If Haaland proves tough for City - it will raise the price further. If for some reason he has a bad game - it's City so it won't be taken against him. Be as it may - I'm switching my stance on Haaland a bit. Not so long ago I thought there's no way he's leaving for 100+ mil this year, I'm more and more thinking he actually might.

Transfer rumours: Borussia Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke insists the German side are planning for next season with Haaland. Does anyone trust them anymore? Manager Pep Guardiola says Manchester City may decide to spend over £100m on one player in the future, but remains coy on speculation linking the club with Haaland. If not Haaland, what other player could it be? Barcelona will continue to pursue the signing of the Norwegian after meeting with his representatives last week, but sources at the club say it will be "very difficult" to do a deal. Barcelona has a huge financial debt and it is really not clear to me how they intend to pay Haaland without going bankrupt? Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea, 30, is ready to move on from Manchester United. He used to be probably the best goalkeeper in the world and now an uncertain future awaits him. Where will he go? Arsenal want to keep Norwegian midfielder Martin Odegaard at the club when his loan spell from Real Madrid ends, but Liverpool are also interested in the 22-year-old. Is it really possible that Real will give up such a football gem? They never actually gave him a real chance to prove himself at the club. Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/56641796

That's right, the board of directors has just made the decision not to extend his contract. This means that Jérôme Boateng will leave FC Bayern at the end of the season after ten years. Jérôme Boateng will definitely leave FC Bayern when his contract ends this summer. The club's board of directors made the definitive decision not to extend the defender's contract and Boateng's agent has been informed [Kicker] Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1379163144946380804

Borussia Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke insists the German side are planning for next season with Haaland. Does anyone trust them anymore? I think there is no way that Dortmund will be able to keep Haaland for the next season. Dortmund are terrible in the Bundesliga now. They are in the quarter finals in the CL. But they have a too tough opponent like City. So, they will most probably be out of the tournament. In such condition, I wouldn't stay at Dortmund if I were Haaland.

All the rumors swirling around at that time were all just that... Rumors. No way Guardiola was leaving City with a year left in his contract at that time. Not with Ferran Soriano at the helm and Txiki Begiristain still with the club. Those two are like his big bros at Barca, now at City. What man? The director of football?

I would be very happy if Vazquez joined AC Milan. Because currently AC Milan needs a midfielder which I think Milan is not maximal from this line. Although there are already a few players who should be enough, but in Milan's matches it has been difficult to push the attack to scoring goal from the middle lately. And Chalhanoglu rumored will be going to Juventus, so Milan in big trouble if it happens and doesn't get Vazquez

Vazquez won't really be an upgrade compared to Bennacer, Kessie, or even Tonali if you ask me and all of these 3 players are one of the best midfielders Serie A currently has. Vazquez IMO will just be a bench warmer in Milan if ever he transferred there and I would prefer a better option if Milan would make a transfer. Milan should be focusing on what had work to them and that is signing young promising players which can help them grow signing unwanted stars is something that hasn't really worked for them in years now.

The Agnelli meeting with Allegri has been confirmed by Pirlo in the press interviews and he said "They informed me and it was a friendly meeting" Tomorrow evening can be the last game of Pirlo with Juventus as coach IMHO.

Well, not really unexpected. Juventus is by far the best team in the league and they are currently barely holding on to the CL spot. Pirlo was a great player, one of my favorite ones, but this coaching position came a bit too early for him - same as Lampard's. Coaching is far more complex than people give it credit. Any news on who will be the next manager? Last I heard is that it will be either Gasperini or Spaletti.

It'd be a wise choice for Bayern Munich to keep Goretzka at the team for a long term.
He is just 26 years old and he had a great year, I am sure he is going to be very happy to stay and they will offer him a good sum of money as well, money that no one of us will ever see in our life time for just 8 months of football from him (up to 10 months sometimes). Obviously he is going to accept, plus aside from maybe few more dollars what does he gain from leaving? I am sure there could be some Qatar team willing to pay a lot for him yearly, there are a lot of rich clubs there, do you think money is always the right answer? Moreover he is not going to go there, so that clears the question if money is the main thing, so he prefers Bayern over "some" teams even if they offer more money we know that, which leaves only slight number of teams that might offer more and he would be willing to leave and I think those teams will not offer him more than what he worths.

He should be absolutely happy at Bayern and I see no reason for him to leave the team for a club like that. He is also very young to go there. Generally, good players go to places like that only when they are old.

Manchester City have renewed Kevin De Bruyne contract to keep him at the Emirates until 2025. He deserve to stay even more as he is one of the 3 midfilders in the world and Man City is distinguished since the beginning of his project that their stars are very stable with them, they do not leave in anger or search for a dream to play in another team. They certainly pay as well as the other big clubs, but the clarity of their sports project and the quiet atmosphere with few news leaks help the stability a lot.
