Now that Aston Villa has officially surpassed Arsenal in size, it is worth mentioning that they are bigger. Due to Villa's summer, I am concerned for Arsenal F.C, they will lose their 8th position for sure this season. Aston Villa uses their 100m well. I've feeling that Villa will be a major headache next season though the recruitment process is great.
Arsenal desperately need a good signing. Right now they are not doing that, they are just getting young players for the future but is that enough? <- is the big question. Without any proper serious leader on field for the Gunners I don't think they are gonna make their performance better. Aston Villa are gonna for sure invest that money from Grealish pretty well. They already got Ings, Buendia, Bailey who had a remarkable last season. Maybe revamping their defense will make the team better. They sure were headache last season. Remember the surprise they gave when they defeated Liverpool last season and with the team like this they should sure perform better. I bet that aston villa will not repeat the good performance from last season, but in case they did it ... well that would surprise me . im doubting villa would re-invest the 100m sales fund this season, they might recruiting loan players like abraham from chelsea or buying 5 to 10m player and the rest of it... get in the board's pocket, im pretty sure about this. anw with grealish land in city , there is a lot of attacking midfielder / winger available, someone will be kicked out for sure, pep is the king of transfer spender well done pep.

the speculations are finally over and now the fight for the argentinian national player Lionel Messi can begin - my guess will be that he will go to his old coach Pep Guardiola to man city Barcelona confirmed this much in an official club statement. Despite "Lionel Messi having reached an agreement and the clear intention of both parties to sign a new contract today, this cannot happen because of financial and structural obstacles (Spanish LaLiga regulations)," the club statement read. "As a result of the situation, Messi shall not be staying on at FC Barcelona." https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/lionel-messi-will-leave-barcelona-laliga-structures-make-deal-impossible/view/news/390547

Even though player and club agreed a deal, La Liga board blocked new contract for Messi, that's sucks. In Premier League teams can spend whatever money they like, we saw what Manchester City and other major clubs did. It's not looking fair at all. Well, let's see what happen, it's hard to swallow for Barcelona, we never think about that possibility, will Messi really be on another team this season? I give %0 chance for Chelsea to sign Messi, if he goes to Premier League that would be Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, no doubt about that.

i said this last month So, Messi is a free agent. Some say that Laporta has a new contract ready and Messi will 100% sign it... I say Barca fans are in denial right now what a year for both Barca and Madrid. Ramos and Messi, two legends of La Liga, gone Neymar & the bois the other day with Messi...Messi to PSG (?) https://www.instagram.com/p/CSIfvIpoldY/no messi, the club with a huge debt (1billion or smth), team might finish mid table or lower this season...Barca fans, are you ok?

Man City are one of the few clubs that could afford his wages. They are currently finalising the £100m deal for Grealish, and still trying to sign Harry Kane. Presumably they'd want Messi as their number one choice of any incoming transfer this summer... but would this affect their pursuit of either Grealish or Kane?

Reports are that they had option either to leave Super League and keep Messi or let Messi go and be in Super League. Really will be hard for Barca fans to gulp this down but that is how it is. Now I am waiting for big teams expressing interest in Messi. City to change their interest towards Messi now? Neymar & the bois the other day with Messi...Messi to PSG (?)
no messi, the club with a huge debt (1billion or smth), team might finish mid table or lower this season...Barca fans, are you ok?
PSG might be able to seal the deal. They are one of the clubs who are doing the spending quite well and I am sure they still have enough to give Messi a good deal. Even better than what he had at Barca. Barca without Messi (ugh!!) .. I don't see a beautiful picture next season. I mean not the domination but still maybe 3-4th position. But let's face it their rivals Real Madrid is also not in the best shape either. Atletico Madrid seems to be clear favourites for next LaLiga season winner to me. Right now I am kinda excited what his new club gonna be . I am sure others who expected to see a "change" in Messi career is gonna love this and will be excited like me as well.

Probably not better but somewhere close to his previous deal with Barcelona ( or lower ). There is no reason for Messi to refuse the offers that might come unless he wants to stop playing this season. I honestly want Messi to go to Juventus. Imagine watching both Ronaldo and Messi in one team for one or two more years before either one of them retire. This could be the best moment in the entire football history though i said this last month
I seriously didnt expect that this would happen. Messi had done so much for the team and I was pretty sure that Barcelona will do everything that they could to give Messi another deal though

Never thought this day would come, but the Messi news leaving Barcelona and this coming from a credible source like Fabrizio Romano is more than 90% true. So what does all this mean, could Messi have masterminded this move... if he is a free agent this makes it easy for him to go to another club without making it impossible for any other club to sign him. Where next... Does Messi have a manager by the way since we all thought he would retire at Barcelona FC and didn't need one

I was pretty sure that Barcelona will do everything that they could to give Messi another deal though they did everything they could actually, but the club's debt is just too massive -laporta and koeman were publicly saying that the the players should "help" the club in the Messi situation...what they were implying was that the rest of the squad should lower their own salaries so that the club could pay Messi's...insanity -Messi agreed to lower his salary, but it's still too much money cuz the club literally doesn't have money to pay such a big contract -Tebas, president of La Liga, said that they were not gonna bend the rules so that Barca could go over the salary cap (which is like 380M for every teams). Tremendous blow for Barca I think something happened in the last 24h, maybe they asked messi to lower his salary a bit more (?) and his answer was " fck off!" Grealish to Manchester City done deal! https://www.mancity.com/news/mens/manchester-city-sign-jack-grealish-63763786Raphael Varane already in Manchester. Will become Man Utd new CB https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1423364013312942081

Attacking midfielder Bernardo Silva may leave Manchester City after the club bought Jack Grealish from Aston Villa for £ 100m.
The 26-year-old Portuguese is in Barcelona's area of interest. A few weeks ago, the Catalans discussed with City potential transfers to Bernard and three other players.
However, now the blue garnet want to first of all decide the issue with the future midfielder Miralem Pjanic and defender Samuel Umtiti - they are not seen in the club.
I highly doubt that between all these financial troubles and even a scare about how they may not be even able to sign Aguero because of financial situations, we should not be considering Barcelona as a possibility for Bernardo Silva, dude worths 70 million euro and his price tag could be at worst 50 million, can you really believe that Barcelona, between all these financial problems, can find 50 million somewhere? I honestly think that Barcelona can't even afford a free transfer at this point because they may not be able to afford the salaries of their players. This will go on as long as Messi keeps charging over 25% of their whole income, when one player is that expensive that means that you can't built a decent around that player without having a huge debt and when you have a huge debt you usually can't afford anything more afterwards.

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/57818660And finally it is official! Manchester City have signed Aston Villa's 25-year-old player Jack Grealish for €120m (£100m). He has signed a six-year contract with the team. I guess that the team are quite delighted with this signing. And they will hope it not to be in vain. Jack Grealish is definitely going to be under pressure. Let's see if he will handle this nicely.

I already believed that this hiring would take place, it only lacked the official announcement. 100 million euros... in fact paid a "good value", football is surprising us more and more. Moving on to another matter, Messi left Barcelona after 17 seasons and countless goals. Will he go to City too? They haven't signed any strikers for this season yet, but I doubt they still have any money after this Grealish signing.

I wasn't ready for these news about Messi. If last summer I was already for Messi departure, now I was confident that he will sign new contract. New era for Barca, without Messi and in huge debt, we, Barca fans, brace ourselves, winter is coming. After all these years itwill be difficult to imagine Barca without Messi. I don't want him in PSG, I would like to see him in City together with Pep. But do they have enough money after Grealish transfer? Barca fans, are you ok?
You really ask this question now!? I think you already know answer...

Messi's departure came as a huge surprise to everyone and I'm very much sure no one knew about it or expected things to turn out the way they did between Barcelona and Messi. Didn't see any speculation from Fabrizio or other transfer media outlet prior to the announcement from Barcelona official channels. Just when everyone didn't speculate about his departure is when he finally leaves. I expected this move in the last 2-3 transfer windows. Anyway, it would be nice to see him play in one of the top clubs in the PL preferably City. But after dishing out ~ €120M for Grealish, I doubt. Chelsea and Man Utd might have picked interest too but I'm not sure they can afford him.

Psg or City? In case you know, the football of the people not of the money. First of all, seriously, it is surprising to know Messi finally wants to leave Barcelona this season. I don't know what is the biggest reason why he doesn't want to renew his contract there. After Barcelona signed Aguero, we all believe that Messi will stay in Barcelona because he seems to be happy playing with his national teammate. I guess Barcelona management and Messi can't get an agreement about salary or how long Messi contracts in Barcelona. However, Messi has the right to decide if he wants to move. I think it is the right time for Messi to get a new experience on another club before he considers retiring. Respect his decision! Regarding where he should go, I am sure PSG is the right place for Messi. Man City already has too many attackers, I doubt if Man City wants to spend more huge money to sign Messi. While PSG seems not signing a single striker yet, and PSG attackers are not as many as Man City has. So, I think PSG is more appropriate as the destination of Messi.
