Even though Sadio Mane scored more than 20 goals for Liverpool last season i don't think that he is a proper 1 to 1 replacement for Lewandoswki to be honest. In the end Lewandowski is a central striker while Mane is a winger. I watched parts of the presentation of Sadio Mane yesterday and when Oliver Kahn was questioned about Lewandowski he said something like "we are not thinking about letting him go at the moment". This sounds to me that there is still a chance that Bayern will finally let Lewandowski move on and i would be happy if that would happen. It is never good if a player is forced to stay at a club even if he does not want to.

There maybe is still a very little chance that this can be happen but i also watched the presentation and it looks like that they dont let him go.
They maybe force the player to stay but thats there right to doing it because of the contract , and its possible that they speculating with him,
if they win a lot games they can get more price money out of the Cups.
In my opinion Bayern Munich plays the coming season with Lewandowski .

Christopher Nkunku have finally extend his contract with RB Leipzig this summer after Chelsea and Manchester United failing to meet up the official price tag of the 24years old which the Red Bull smashed  £100m on the Frenchman. Talks about he's possible exit are really getting behind bars, not with the same initial pressure at first, I kinda feel he'll possibly stay a season at Bayern Munich. Will be a huge loss to Bayern, as I don't see a possible replacement for him this season. He'll give a great performance arguable at Barcelona, but why make the move ? When you have it all at Bayern Munich ? A lot might be going down behind the scenes and I really don't know.

A big factor here is that because he's quite old, and his contract is running out, Bayern wouldn't get much of a transfer fee, and he's on such high wages that a low transfer fee is almost irrelevant relative to wages. I would think if they can, Bayern would prefer to keep him for a year, pay the wages for a year, then let him leave on a free if he won't sign an extension. They don't lose much, and get to keep a world-class player for another year. The major issue really is if Lewandowski starts to get angry and refuse to play... but I can't see him doing that, he wouldn't do anything to upset the Bayern fans where he is such a hero.

Barcelona have made several offers to Munich but so far there has been no attractive offer for Munich, I think after Munich got Mane then Munich will want to lower the price of Lewandowski and let him go to Barcelona easily, but in fact Munich don't want to let Lewandowski go if Barcelona didn't pay like they wanted, I think Barcelona chances of getting Lewandowski are now closed because maybe Munich will prefer to let Lewandowski leave at the end of next season for free rather than selling him right now for barcelona.

It is a very complicated matter. It seems he is still on contract till summer of 2023. He has been told to join them in the pre-season next month. I don't really understand their stand on his move to Barcelona. I thought they wanted a replacement before they would allow him leave. He has remained adamant about his intention to leave this summer, but Bayern Munich do not appear to be willing to let him to do so. They are ignoring the messages sent by him and the optimism from Barcelona about his possible signing. One thing that plays massively in Barcelona's favor is Lewandowski's overwhelming desire to join them. He has publicly voiced his determination to leave Bayern and has his heart set on a move to Barcelona.

I don't think that Lewandoski will stay in Bayern Munich also for the next year. If he will stay, i don't think that he will play as regular player the next season, he will be kept outside the field. Too many things has been told

It is really shocking to see a player end his career at only 29 years of age. But in recent times we have seen a lot of players getting retired and coming back after a while. So, there is always a chance for that to happen. The reason that he has given for his retirement is not a good enough answer for the people in my opinion. Everyone starts to play a little badly after 30 years of age and that is not an excuse for a player to retire so early. Now they are going to have to find a replacement for him but I am at a loss here.

Now there's still time for that and most likely there will still be some things that might happen.
The possibility of leaving is obviously very big for Lewandowski at the moment but if no one dares to pay a high price it will be useless for it because Bayern do not want to let Lewandowski off at the usual price.
On the other hand, if he is determined, there is still hope for Bayern by continuing to increase his salary to the point where he will not be able to refuse as happened to Mbappe. Although this possibility is very small to happen, but if you look at some statements from Bayern officials who say if they can maintain one season they will continue to do.
