Actually there's a valid reason why reason isn't joining the Manchester united squad for the preseason tour and it has to do with family issue. Agree, there is no reason for Ronaldo returns to Juventus. If he is serious to leave Man United, he must go to Bayern, Chelsea, or PSG. I think this way will only burden Man United and you can say it is an internal problem from Barcelona which should be resolved by themselves before they sell him to Man United because if there is a dispute like that it will cause all transfers to be delayed until the transfer of the player is cancelled. I won't compared Leicester city Maguire to Manchester City Ake that doesn't even start games. Maguire was another beast while he was at Leicester city but Manchester united cause brought out the worst in him. Even as he's experiencing his worst form, the difference is still clear when he plays for the england national team and him playing for Manchester united, he doesn't make those silly mistakes.

I think Chelsea going for Ake is just because other defensive players transfer aren't looking like it'll be successful. Assuming he was a priority, would have negotiated a deal as we were also negotiating that of sterling. He isn't worth that much I don't understand why Manchester City is placing that much fee on him when they aren't broke like Barcelona.
