The Ronaldo rumours continue, with him linked with a host of big clubs. But as I've been saying for a long time, he's no longer good enough for a big club. His strengths are still a huge asset, but the weaknesses he brings are unacceptable for any team that wants to genuinely rank amongst the best in the world. He made Juventus worse, he made Man U worse, and if he signs for another giant, he'll make them worse. He'll bag a load of goals, sure, but he'll do zero pressing, and just wander around conserving energy for the next time he gets the ball, and leave vast open tracts of space for the opposition to exploit.

Finally I've found an article that pretty much summarises my thoughts!

I can't imagine Messi leaving PSG now. With Barcelona he has won everything he can win, and in fact there are no better teammates to play with than PSG where he now plays football. Manchester City don't even come close to PSG in terms of individual qualities. Messi also has more than enough money, he is purely for the sporting picture and he only wants one thing at the moment and that is to win the Champions League again. Then there are only a few clubs that are good enough where he can go and who can also pay him. He better stay in Paris until he wins the CL again.
Leo Messi is a key player for both his former club Barcelona and his present team Paris Saint Germain. Messi ultimate goal for this upcoming season is to lift the champions league, nothing more, nothing less. Leo Messi is outstanding in PSG and one of the big name the team have currently and losing him will be a total disappointment to them and the fans. The champions league trophh can still be lifted by any team because it's a trophy for every team in football as long as the team is serious and consistent in winning games.

He has contract till June 2023 so he is in there for at least one more season for sure. He won't be leaving PSG now as you said he is more kind of focused into game rather than focusing on money and making hype. Last season didn't went well as expected for PSG in CL but they are making some changes so let's see how it goes and how well Messi adjusts to it. Messi leaving PSG now doesn't seems like a good rumour. Wouldn't believe it unless comes out from good source.

So everyone loves Paul here, he did the right choice, and a lot of people were waiting outside the medical hub.

source: https://twitter.com/GiovaAlbanese/status/1545676938597081089
Paul Pogba is a fine player, you can't just help but love him for the ways he plays, his goal celebrations and great passes. I guess the Juventus fans have missed this experience for a while and can't wait to see him in their club shirts again. I also believe he will do great jobbcoming back to a place that feels more like home with so much love. This will be different than Manchester United.  I can't wait for the league to resume I miss football.
Paul Pogba is wonderful player who is very committed in what he does, he was a key player when he was in Manchester United and a played good role in making is former club to achieve goals. I am very sure Manchester United will miss Paul Pogba in the next season,  but  I think is coming to Juventus is a great decision.

I just see that Real Madrid have official released Gareth Bale to Los Angeles on a free transfer
And I also found out that Real Madrid have signed midfielder Tchouameni from Monaco for a rather high fee, €80 million. This is Real Madrid's most expensive transfer since the last few seasons. And last time real madrid spent €115 million to sign Eden Hazard from chelsea, but he didn't play like madrid expected
Some Madrid transfers did not go well, which is natural because accidents like this can happen for a club. In fact, for Bale himself, he has also shone but indeed the last few seasons have failed to compete on the front lines. As for Hazard this is a pretty bad buy for Madrid I think.
As for Tchouameni, although the price is big, but it's quite reasonable in my opinion, first of all, it still has the potential to continue to be better.

I don't know if it's right to give Tchouameni that much money. But as you said, he is a football player who is open to improvement. I don't think it's right to compare them with those that were transferred with high money before. Eden Hazard is an exception in my opinion.
Tchouameni was paid by Madrid from Monaco with a fairly large price of 80 million euros and indeed this is a fairly large nominal but from his previous performance especially he still has the chance to continue to grow so it is quite reasonable in my opinion.
Why should he be excluded because after all he is a failed purchase at Real Madrid because his contribution is in stark contrast to his price.

Rumors about the transfer of Ronaldo to PSG will remain rumors, even the last time they appeared, it became clear that at least Messi would be against this transition. I heard another version - maybe Lewandoski will go to PSG. Neymar, Mbappe + Lewandowski - this trio will be truly awesome. But, as a fan against bags (City and PSG), I'm going to hope that if this happens, this trio will be as unlucky as MSN.

I also don't think that there is any chance that Cristiano Ronaldo will join PSG this summer. I mean we all know that PSG does not really care about putting together a team that is well balanced and has a good mix of experienced superstars and in addition to that also players that have no problem to do the dirty work and to attack the enemy team early and to close gaps in the midfield. PSG just buys the players with the biggest names, throws them together in a team and afterwards they are always wondering why they have not won a big trophy yet.
Just imagine Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Mbappe in the same team. This means that you have 3 players that are doing absolutely nothing for the defense. No early pressing, nothing.

Transfer rumours:

Manchester United have made an improved £43m offer for 24-year-old Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez in a bid to beat Arsenal to the Argentina centre-back's signature. What Martinez will decide in the end?
Amid intense speculation over 37-year-old Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo's future, Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has recognised the need to strengthen his team's attacking options, while the Dutchman remains keen on adding a right-back and centre-back. Personally, it seems to me that there is a very small chance that Ronaldo will stay at Manchter United. The question is which club can afford him?
Barcelona boss Xavi wants to re-sign France winger Ousmane Dembele, 25, who is a free agent after his contract at the Nou Camp expired. However, the club's sporting director Mateu Alemany would prefer a move for Leeds' Brazilian attacker Raphinha. What are the real chances of Dembele staying at Barcelona? Does Barcelona have the finances to keep him in the club?
And Barca have submitted a 'final offer' of £47m for 25-year-old Raphinha, who has also been linked with Chelsea and Arsenal. What are the real chances of Raphinha going to Barcelona?

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/62073386
Manchester United have shown seriousness in their move the Argentine centre back.  Other team like Arsenal have also showed interest in the player but seen their bid rejected as it didn't match the prize Ajax want for the player, hopefully we will knock the outcome by next week as Manchester United will focus now on trying to keep their key player or find a suitable replacement for him on time and it looks certain that Barcelona might get their target afterall after submitting a new bid of 47m for Raphinha but no reply yet on the bid so hopefully we will get  their feedback next week.

One of Arsenal's targets is Lyon attacking midfielder Lucas Paqueta now. Newcastle have also been monitoring his condition for a long time. His market value is 35 million euros now and he has still three more years on his contract. This can cause Arsenal to pay a really significant amount of money to be able to sign him. His performance at Lyon has been decent so far. On the other hand I doubt that Arsenal need this many attacking midfielders now. They have already signed Fabio Vieira and they still have Odegaard and Smith Rowe also.

Dembele really seems likely to return to Barcelona in the near future. The talks about re-signing him are still on for now. Barcelona are after Raphinha at the same time too. I wonder if they will give up on one of these transfers. On the other hand there is only Trincao as a right winger in the team now. Taking this into account I think that Barcelona might even go for both of Dembele and Raphinha. It would be better for them to increase the number of alternatives.

Tomorrow DeLigt is supposed to be in Turin, lets's see if he will land.
He has completed everything here including undergoing medical tests with the Juventus team.
I saw him upload a post on social media with a caption which is quite a sign that he is indeed happy to be back at Juventus.
Now he is at Juventus Headquarters and reportedly his contract for a new start at Juventus will last around 4 years.

Messi has been a very key player for his new and former club, he did so well at FC Barcelona for years winning the ballon dor seven times in that campaign but since his move to PSG we have seen his performance dropped by a high margin, his contributions have not been significant and he barely got 15 goals in the league last season which is a very poor record for Messi. We will hope to see a much better performance next season. Ronaldo also did not fare well in Manchester United, these two players had their best seasons in the Spanish la liga

Taking this into account I think that Barcelona might even go for both of Dembele and Raphinha. It would be better for them to increase the number of alternatives.

Dembele's negotiations with Barcelona have been going on for a long time, in fact it's been a year and they haven't found an agreement between
Dembele and Barcelona. The problems first arose when Dembele asked for a high salary increase, which at that time Barcelona who were
experiencing financial problems certainly could not fulfill Dembele's request. In fact, in January 2022, Barcelona's management had allowed Dembele
to leave. because Barcelona are also tired of not being able to find an agreement with Dembele.

But the arrival of Xavi changed everything, Dembele could show his best form and also Xavi really liked the game from Dembele. This finally made
Barcelona relent by re-negotiating with Dembele's agent, unfortunately, until Dembele's contract runs out an agreement has not been reached.
In the end Marca reported that Barcelona and Dembele were close to an agreement to extend Dembele's contract by two years, although Dembele's
salary will be cut by 40%. Dembele's decision to stay because Xavi repeatedly convinced Dembele to stay and it looks like Xavi's efforts are quite
successful, because in the near future Dembele seems to be extending his contract with Barcelona.

Regarding the purchase of Raphinha, it looks like it's still going on, even though Barcelona are almost able to keep Dembele, because Raphinha is
one of the main targets that Xavi wants. So Barcelona are still fighting for Raphinha, I think it would be very good if Barcelona could have Dembele
and also Raphinha. That will make Barcelona stronger and have many options for the winger position.

Hopefully Ronaldo will be staying at the club, Manchester United fans will be praying so hard now for their favorite player CR7 to stay help them win the Europa cup and premier league trophy next season. Manchester United fans are very optimistic about next season, Erik Ten Hag is believed to be the one that will bring them glory. Losing Ronaldo wasn't part of their dream, if Ronaldo finally decides to move I would love to see him at PSG, Bayern Munich or back to Real Madrid.

Roma are rumoured to be after Crystal Palace left winger Wilfried Zaha now. Zaha has been performing really wonderfully for Crystal Palace for years. He has scored many goals for his team despite not being a centre-forward normally. Roma must be considering to increase their attacking power at the moment. However there are already two decent wingers in the team too. These wingers are Justin Kluivert and El Shaarawy. Kluivert was a loanee last season actually so maybe they would think of doing it again. Then Zaha would have only El Shaarawy to compete against.
Zaha has been a very important player for crystal palace for years now and has been consistent, scoring goals and helping the club maintain their premier league stay. I once heard rumours he was to join Arsenal but looks like they were just rumours in the end. It's not clear yet how concrete the speculations about Roma wanting his services is but it will be a good move for him, working with Jose Mourinho, he will do great and even score more goals and contribute to the teams growth.

I think right now it is not going to be a smart decision for Arsenal to get in a race to get this player against Newcastle United.

Because Arsenal just made some significant transfers and I don't know what the current financial situation of Arsenal is. Therefore, it is evident that Newcastle United can spend a lot of money on any player right now. Because they do have a lot of money to spare.

I hope that Arsenal is going to be really careful about what they are planning to do right now. However, Lucas Paquetá can be a very worthwhile addition to Arsenal right now.

Messi is definitely staying in PSG, is there any rumor linking him away from the club? I am yet to see any. To be honest though, Messi didn't look his usual happy self playing for PSG last season, it could prolly be because he wasn't expecting to leave Barcelona then, and maybe he could not come to grips with what the actual reality on ground was. He ought to perform better next season by the way.
Having said that, i do not think PSG are going to win the CL anytime soon, i might be wrong though, but they do not look like it, Messi, Neymar and Mbappe haven't looked compatible since they started playing together, i know they have a new manager, but i still think the trio are not compatible, obviously they can prove me completely wrong in this new season, but till then i will stick with what i have just said.
It was considered unsuitable because the PSG camp seemed to put their egos forward of course players like Neymar, Mbappe, and Messi both had high goals and high achievement targets, inevitably competing coldly was what they did. However, the three of them must still exist and highlight their respective qualities. If all three are separated and in different clubs then it will be easier for us to see which of them is the most competent.

I don't think Lionel Messi is willing to leave PSG. Considering some of the current situations, he may be angry, but I do not think that he will be leaving. It also feels like the competition between PSG's attackers is very high in the current circumstances. And Lionel Messi & Neymar are also not inclined to like the power that is given to Mbappé.

In my opinion, PSG is not in a very favorable position right now. I really don't expect them to do anything better than just winning the league title again. And if that is the case, what's the point of vesting so much money?

Paquetá could be a nice addition to the midfield. I don't think Arsenal are tight on money. They show this with the high-cost transfers they make. They've been behind the race for years and now they have a chance to build a good squad, why not use it? I'm tired of watching Arsenal race for fourth place. I want to see them compete against Manchester City and Liverpool. It's not possible to enter this challenge without spending money. It happens once in a hundred years that Leicester City does. If the player is promising, you shouldn't hesitate to spend some money.
