Sporting lisbon is a club that has been Ronaldo goal when he retires later, but I don't think that will happen in the near future because after all ronaldo still has the desire to play in a big team that can compete in the champions league, now is ronaldo future still an unsolved puzzle but I believe for next season he will no longer be in manchester and maybe his next career adventure in germany or france, while to return to sporting lisbon of course maybe 2 or 3 years from now will happen.

Ronaldo on many occasions have spoken about his future and has mentioned that he is ready to stay and play for the club, if not for the circumstances around the club and the misunderstanding between Erik Ten Hag and Ronaldo we wouldn't be having this rumours anymore. A move to Chelsea also seems unlikely because Chelsea will not want to sign Ronaldo now especially with his decline in form. But on the other hand Liverpool are slowly starting to return to their position even though it is a little difficult to compete for the title but this is still possible especially with a quite striking victory today against Southampton.

Manchester United look like they are planning to get rid of Harry Maguire as soon as possible. Actually it is Erik ten Hag who wants to sell him right now. They are aware that they can't sell him for a price even near the amount they bought him. But it is still better for them to sell him instead of wasting more time with him. I always think that Cristiano Ronaldo staying in Manchester United is always going to be good for Manchester United, regardless of whether it being good for Cristiano Ronaldo or not. But if Cristiano Ronaldo can perform in Manchester United, I think it will be obviously great for both parties. Obviously, at this stage, it will be hard for Cristiano Ronaldo to find a good team. A lot of teams are not interested in Cristiano Ronaldo because of his age.

I have the same doubts as you and I don't think that Ronaldo will really be there even though Todd's interest in Ronaldo has been very big this season.
Don't know why I don't really like the rumors of another English team wanting Ronaldo in this case regardless I didn't have this kind of expectation.

Enzo Fernandez is a good player who can actually add experience and talent in the squad, and 35millon Euros isn't too much for a player of his calibre so in my opinion it is a fair deal for both teams of they can get the deal in the January transfer window.

The figure of Enzo can be something good for Liverpool especially he has good vision in midfield but indeed the price is also difficult and this is definitely one of the steps from Benfica to hold his players.

I'm pretty sure Liverpool will be active in the transfer window in January in search of suitable additions to improve the team when the league resumes in January. I can’t say for sure how serious the speculations about the change of ownership of the club or klopp’s future as the manger, if they eventually get rich buyers to take over the club it will be for the best as they will be willing to invest much money in the club.
