Simeone is a good manager.  Maybe Joao Felix isn't good enough for what he wants in his squad?  It could also be stylistic differences when what the manager wants isn't the skills that the player has.  Perfect example of this is Kevin De Bruyne.  He was at Chelsea back in the day and couldn't get in the starting line up under Mourinho.  So he moved to Germany where he played for Wolfsburg.  Then a couple of seasons later, Guardiola acquired him and turned out to be one of the best midfielders in EPL history.  

It was funny how that turned out.  A loss of one club is another club's gain.  A huge gain.

True, it is very unfortunate when you see a young player with potential only being used as a substitute bench, it will hinder his career. He'd better go and try to get a team that can play him regularly, or at least be given a lot of minutes. They have to realize that they will not improve if they do not have enough playing time to add to their experience and experience in matches and also in big game matches.

I also agree. Especially after signing Casemiro, I don't know if it is going to be a smart idea for them to add another midfielder. Rumor has it, Manchester United already have several names on their list to be brought in in the winter transfer window. Manchester United already has 4 lists of pure attackers to replace Christiano Ronaldo. and Ronaldo and the Red Devils' contracts ended sooner than planned. Honestly Joa Felix really not comfortable with Atletico Madrid after losing opportunity with regular position in this season, I don't see any potential yet for him keep extended with Atletico Madrid contract runs until 2026. Its seems difficult with any new team want to signing Joa Felix with contract left until three years later and need to pay most expensive transfer values.

Move to Manchester United maybe good alternative but I don't think with Joa Felix can't filled position leaving by Cristiano Ronaldo because he not as real central forward and most active playing as second striker.
