I totally agree with you. I was honestly surprised when I heard the news of Julian's sacking. It's a better decision in my opinion for both because if Conte stays at Tottenham until the end of the season it might worsen their performances even more because some Tottenham players also don't like Conte anymore after his attacking statements. Indeed, if Nagelsmann can become the choice of coach for the Spurs that is quite good, but the Spurs have appointed a caretaker coach for the rest of the season. It's amazing how lucky someone can be! It's been only a few hours since he was sacked, and he's already on his way to landing another job! However, I'm not so sure that he's been on Tottenham Spur's radar just yet. It isn’t a step back if we look at how Nagelsmann needs to develop. He is a young coach with an exciting career ahead. Tottenham is a better place to develop because I feel they currently have that squad, the only thing needed is instilling character and discipline into the team. If we talk about opportunities I would say they are currently limited to Nagelsmann. The three major jobs that might be on the table are Madrid, Paris and Chelsea. Madrid will rather get Conte or Zidane due to their experience or rather have Xabi Alonso as a rookie to step in since he knows one or two about the club history. As for PSG they would also prefer the both managers most especially Zidane for the job. Chelsea will rather have Enrique, Poch or the other two due to there experience. So considering the availability of top coaches searching for jobs Tottenham will be a great place for Nagelsmann. He would offer many years to the spurs than their last two managers and should he perform beyond expectations then top clubs or even Bayern could be after him

Totenham is not among the richest clubs in England but they are known for hiring big coaches. If you reexamine the coaches that Totenham has hired, you will attest to me that they are all quality.
Was it not Conte that introduced the artificial 3 man and 5 man defence in Chelsea and won league title with it.

Nagelsmann has great statistics with Bayern Munich. Undoubtedly, Bayern Munich are already a great team and they always have good statistics, but with Nagelsmann they have played 84 games and won 60 of them. Either it was a mistake or they did the right thing. Because they also appointed a coach like Thomas Tuchel to replace the role of Nagelsmann.
