IMO, it doesn't look like Marco Alonso is the ideal choice for Manchester United. even if they want a replacement, there are several options they could bring in towards the end of the transfer window. as Romano reports, Cucurella, Reguilón, are the right options over Marcos Alonso who has entered the age of 32.  but to bring in Cucurella, United must budget a sizable price. it could also be, Ten Hag is more adapted to the available budget.
it looks like Reguilón could be an option, because the price of this player is not expensive for them to bring them to Old Trafford. but if Ten Hag chooses Alonso, the price tag will be lower than the other two players. besides, Alonso has experience and is an established player. I mean if Liverpool accepted and Salah didn't want to go, that would mean that you would have a player with 2 year left on his contract that realized you wanted him to be sold. It was reported later today that Manchester United had agree personal terms with Cucurella, with the player being interested in the move since he has fallen down the picking order at Chelsea and the only stumbling block now is a transfer fee with Chelsea. Cucurella has had bad start at Chelsea after a big money move from Brighton but the former Getafe man can revive his career under Ten Hag but why I feel United doesn’t need this signing is the fact that they surely have options in that area.
