I'd take this to be speculation because they have lots of players in that role right now, it's good to see that they want him , now will he in the long run suit into them long term plans? It must be the defenders and goal keeper. The defenders were not good enough this season and they were making so many blunders that were making the situation became very difficult for the goal keeper. The goal keeper is also the main factor why manchester united conceded more than 50 goals this season.
