This is a big move by Bayern Munich. This is definitely a very big leap of faith. I do not know if it is going to work out perfectly for them or not.

Considering the current financial crises at Barcelona and the club management recent issues with their sacked manager Xavi Hernandez, I don't think it'll be an easy task for any manager to succeed at the club anytime soon. Xavi Hernandez was a Barcelona player for over two decades and perfectly understands the philosophy of the club so i think he was able tp achieve the little success he had because of how well he understands the club's style of football.

Frankie de Jong has not declined in performance this season, it's injury that hindered him to perform full season for Barcelona.
