Although the previous agreement was until 2027, but apparently after Aston Villa's historic first Champions League appearance and 4th place in the EPL the management decided to renew and extend the agreement with Unai Emery.
Great decision for both sides, because Emery is just great at coaching average teams and making them successful, as he did before with Sevilla and Villereal, and now with Aston Villa and the club management now has a reliable head coach with whom they can build a strategy for years to come. 

It is true that Aston villa has achieved a great feat with unai emery by getting champions league football, but for me this is not enough reason to grant him a 5 year contract. Not to disregard the coach technical prowess, just what I do feel. The contract seem like a rush

Chelsea have agreed a long-term deal with their new manager. This shows that Chelsea are preparing for a long term restructuring. I think Enzo Maresca is a very good choice for the Blues who want to return to the old days. He has a successful coaching career and he could become a legend of Chelsea in the years to come. It is rare to see coaches in top leagues remaining in charge after more than 2 - 3 seasons these years unless the team always finish in top positions like Diego Simeone.. The turn over is quite high and there is no real project behind that. Most teams don't offer to the manager the players he asks for then blame him for the upsetting results. Players sometimes have to deal with like 3 coaches in the same season, with different strategies which is quite confusing!

Is it a distraction to the media that he's an AC Milan fan with his family? There used to be media saying Mbappe was a Real Madrid lover since childhood so he wanted to go there to realize it but now it has changed again.

Chelsea cannot afford another season or two of transition, this story has already gone on too long. But in the Premier League, as I have already written many times, there remains a big problem: there are too many good clubs (+dark horses like Aston Villa that can knock one of the favorites out of the top 4). This statement does not represent that Kylian Mbappe will go to Milan. I know that if Mbappe goes to Real Madrid then La Liga will not be balanced considering the rivalry between Barcelona and Real Madrid is very different. Barcelona's poor financial situation has made the rivalry between the two teams unattractive, of course La Liga is worried because they might lose a lot of interest from a business perspective.

I don't know what scenario Barcelona would think of if Mbappe went to Real Madrid.
