If i am not mistaken Moussa Diaby transfer from Leverkusen to Aston Villa has broke the records as the most expensive player who bought from Aston Villa but unfortunately Moussa Diaby was unable to adapt with Aston Villa and his performance is not consistent Moussa Diaby even last season only able to scores 6 goals in Premier League i think these are poor records considering he was bought from expensive price from Leverkusen and in the term of scores goals Moussa Diaby lost to compete with Ollie Watkins

This summer Aston Villa has successfully to bought young striker from Hull City Jaden Philogene this also make the speculation about Moussa Diaby appears because possibly Jaden Philogene will replace Moussa Diaby position on the team but i thought Moussa Diaby will be stayed at Aston Villa much longer or at least until next season ended and it's quite surprised Aston Villa have decide to sell him to Al Ittihad this summer

I can see Al Ittihad is very active for summer transfer window and probably they want to strengthen their squad because next season they want to compete with Al Nassr and Al Hilal for race title but i assume why Al Ittihad has decide to buy Moussa Diaby from Aston Villa is because they aren't satistifed to Benzema performance of last season so that's why Al Ittihad buy new striker and actually Moussa Diaby still 25 years old so if he want to leave Aston Villa it's not difficult for him to gets new clubs and stayed in Europa but unfortunately he has decide to playing at Saudi Pro League
