We certainly know that Gundogan left Manchester City on a free transfer so it would be ridiculous if Manchester City bought back a player they had let go for free because if that happened then from the start Manchster City would have increased the duration of Gundogan's contract.

But on the other hand if indeed Gundogan is still useful for them then it is clear they will only wait too because after all with the remaining contract that Gundogan currently has then they only have to wait for the end of the season to get Gundogan for free. This sounds good news tbh. I meant, it's a win-win for City and Barcelona. If City gets Gundogan back, it will greatly boost our midfield depth. We need a good player like him. Also, it helps Barcelona reduce its wages, and they can sign new player as Gundogan backs to the City.

Pep knew him so well, and city's still having problem on its midfield. It's happened after Mahrez was leaving from the club, then he gone to the Saudi. The decision to add Gundogan back to the club will be solving our loophole at mid. For me, im feeling very good with this news.

Manchester United is one of the big English clubs, especially since they have a clear plan under Erik ten Hag. Honestly, it feels like it is not that much of a bad deal, it is not really a bad transfer period in general. With this one, the yare going to be down about 120-130 million on transfers, they spent more than that but they also had like 100 million or so income from the players they sold which opened up enough for them to get these.

Being down 120 million on transfers is bad of course unless you finish well, but if you want to finish well then spending this much isn't that terrible idea. They got some good young talent and I feel like they are going to improve together.

Joao Felix isn't a terrible player and he could do well enough for them, they have seen what he can do and they decided to get him. He was at Barcelona last season and he did alright during the time he played, which means that Chelsea knows what they are getting with him.

Plus, paying just 40 million euro for him isn't really a lot, Chelsea is a rich club and 40 million is nothing to them, so this is going to be great. And if they worry about financial fair play, they did a six year contract, which means it's like 6.5 million a year or so hit on the cap, and they should not be really worrying about that part too much.

Well it's already happening, I believe that the transfer of Conor Gallagher to Atletico madrid will be concluded today, 21 august 2024 because the Joao Felix deal was formally conclude yesterday, so what is keeping Conor Gallagher deal uncompleted right now is just papper works, which i strongly believe that it's no longer a barrier in the completion of the deal, so hopefully it would be concluded today,
And lastly, I have really been impressed by the dealings of atletico madrid this summer transfer window, because they have practically spot all what they need and they went for them all, which to me, it was a total success.

The way Barca have been moving over the last 2-3 seasons in the transfer market, some things are not beyond the realm of possibility for them.
I think Barcelona's problems is (are) well documented, it’s a club in all sorts of disorder, I bet they are even saying less to the public.

I will say it is a good thing for Ikay Gundogan to still have the opportunity to come back to Manchester City after he spent one year away at Barcelona. Not all players have the opportunity to play for Pep Guardiola team twice in their career. Gundogan is still playing very well despite his age and he is going to fit in very well for Manchester City. He is not going to be treated as a new comer in the squad, the fans loves him and he did good with Manchester City before he left. Man United submitted a borrowing offer and in the classus the release was entered permanently if I was not wrong. The price offered is still too high so Man United tries to take another approach for him. Manuel Ugarte was not included in Luis Enrique's plan, that's why he prefers to go to another club and Now he is getting closer to joining Man United. Signing Manuel Ugarte is going to help Manchester United and for me, that will be their best signing of the season because the defensive midfield is what Manchester United needs, Manchester united has casemiro and Amrabat who can play the position but those players are too old to hold that position, even their performance throughout last season was somehow poor, signing Ugarte is going to improve the squad, if we look at Manchester United games we will know that is the position they supposed to fight for now, secondly Manchester united also need a goalkeeper because for me Onana is not ready this season.

He is back at Manchester City. Guardiola was already looking forward to his return. However the contract is only one-season long. Maybe after that he might look for new adventures or even retirement. He is joining on a free transfer and probably won't cost too much in salary either. I'm happy to see him back in the PL. He had a really good chemistry at Manchester City.

The only thing I wonder is whether we will see him in the starting lineup right away? Probably as a CM?
