All the opinion polls have to defeat Makron . In the case of Trump, it certainly didn't work but it seems to me that there the election was not all pure. If France will not be so then all will be fine. Besides, France is chosen by the majority, and then sociology is not wrong.

It won't be that hard at all. After the recent terror attack in Paris, I'm almost willing to bet that she has it in the bag. This wasn't a  Reichstag Fire, so to speak, but will consolidate her voter base (and a few new faces,).

And I personally don't want to see her as president. But, that's them changes.

As a non-French observing this online, I don't hear much about the candidates save for Le Pen. The recent terror attack could swing some undecided voters into her arms. I don't have problems with her rhetoric... she'll probably moderate them should she ever get into office. Maybe the promise to quit EU and revive the Franc would be just like Trumps wall.

IMHO they should really be cutting down a bit on immigration, just look at what Sweden is now. That could but them time while they fix things but probably wouldn't be enough, since they've already got a substantial portion of their population of immigrant descent that are target for radicalization by groups from abroad.

Quitting the EU could pose more problems for them but we'll never know. Maybe they should let UK exit first to see what will happen. If there's only one country that would really benefit from all this mess, that would be Russia.

I think the entire world has shown double standards during The French elections, when Trump was campaigning and his rhetoric was mainly anti immigration and anti Islam, the whole world was condemning him, but Marie Le Pen is campaigning ok the same lines and no one is saying anything against her.
