Wattman is showing 0  when you set it that way, but it's really not 0. (can't be zero Smiley )
I think it's a bug in wattman.

Also you need to have vddc offset added in your bios if you want it to work the way you say.
There are only a few cards that have vddc offset added in stock bios.

I dont know but at stock bios when i start the miner i see the gpu going through the states and when the actual mining begins and gpu get steady 100% load it locks on P7, but when i set them as i showed you and start the miner i just see how from 300 goes to 1100 and no fluctuation...

So in your exp which is better alk states the same and static voltage per states or global offset?

love the vddc offset part, however the -50mv one is wrong, its only -25mv (FC) in the bios, my understanding is that F8 is -50mv

F8 is -8 actually not -50.
Try putting that value to 0, and see what V you get really.

I have a RX 480, and I want that the GPU voltage stay at 900mv
I tried to do this with SRBPolaris, but it doen't work for me : I still need to user MSI Afterburner to set à -96mV. Is it normal ?

I'm using "Jukebox v4 bios"

Anyone have had success with modding Radeon PULSE RX 570 4GB cards? I have no problem editing the biods ( copying the 1500 straps up), but after I load the bios on the card, they show error and no GPU frequency at all. Do I need to have radeon drivers installed? I installed them AFTER the bios modding. Using ati winflash 2.74 to program the BIOS.

uninstall and reinstall drivers then install amd afterburner and reset all settings

ok the XFX RX580 GTR is the a strange, its hynix but the last few straps are 1625,1750,2000 then a huge jump to 2250  , tried 1625,1750 and 2000 straps down to 2250

with bad results, 1625 crash,1500 wont boot, 1750 max hash rate is 27 mh/s , 2000 strap maxes to 25 mhs

this is all with 2100 mem clock, even with clock bumped to 2125 poor results.

any ideas on a custom made strap for these cards ?

doktor83, can you tell me how to find the voltage offset equivalent portion in your tool so set a negative value?  In windows I can use watttool and set my card at -18 and shave 40 watts off.  I have come across a few threads talking about I2C but I dont fully understand how to find that specific value even after using atombiosreader to find voltageobjectinfo and then searching in hex workshop.  Following a few other threads from a google search I see you have helped others with it.  Is it possible to get some explanation on what I need to do?

Most BIOS don't have it built in. You'd probably need to hack it in, and thats assuming you have one of the specific voltage controllers. Now having a program that did all the hacking for you... that would be aces

If you're testing new strap stability at 2100, thats your problem. 1500 will work fine, just clock it low and work up. Keep in mind, some memory just sucks and you cant get it over 26. Hynix seems to have two versions of their memory. I have an MSI 480 w/ Hynix that wont go over 26.5, I have a Nitro+ 570 w/ Hynix thats happily hashing 30.5. Looks like you're unlucky.

There's the point.
Different controller types, different pointers, too much work.. Smiley
You can add VDDC in VOI, recalculate everything, etc.. in hex editor.
BUt that's still no guarantee that it will work Smiley

So with that mentality is the voltage offset fake when it comes to using watttool in Windows?  I made the assumption that if I can set it in watttool, that it exists in hex.

it's not fake, but it won't work on every card.
+ there are things that can be done with i2c commands but can not be done directly in bios IMO.
