I don't get why the devs aren't announcing or at least communicating such decisions. IMHO such changes without an announcement make a currency weak because it's unpredictable.
I think it would be nice to get notified when s.o. decides to grow the supply 3% every 24h.

where did you get that 3% every 24h from?

after block ~16048, this currency will be hard to mine as f*,
after block ~18064, this currency will be easy to mine as f*
after block ~20080, this currency will be quite hard to mine.
after block ~22096, this currency will be quite easy to mine.
after etc, etc.
why 2016? My brain shows me this: because BTX should have total supply of ~16 442 238 BTX(same as btc) coins. after it will normalize. Now we have 16 420 804 BTX
16442238 - 16420804 = (lazy to take calculator)
Am i mistaken? Maybe, maybe not.

AFAIK 2016 is the interval after which Bitcoin adjusts the difficulty. But imho you can't use the same algorithm with a new currency like BTX. Or am I wrong? Shouldn't there be any kind of smoothing this out? Or is this completely normal? Until 1st of July it was readjusted much more often.

Currently with the actual difficulty of 243.12 and the global mining hashrate of 32597 MH/s, 8432 BTX are mined per day. With the circulating supply of 220,184 BTX, this is a daily supply inflation of 3,8%. Luckily it will only last for another day until the difficulty adjust itself and the difficulty raises to something like 1137.

How do you get these numbers? I approximated:
The last 500 blocks at diff 243,1 took about 4,5h. So we have:
24/4,5 * 500 = 2666 block/day that's: 2666 blocks/day * 3,1 BTX/block = 8264,6 BTX/day Therfore 8264,6 BTX / 220184 BTX = 3,8%

Guess I found my error, I was still calculating with 10 minute Blocks.

Difficulty = 243
Global Hashrate = 32597*1000*1000
Miningpercentage = Glob.Hashrate / Difficulty / 4295032833 * 150s(Blocktime)
Bitcore/day = Miningpercentage * regular_daily_coin_creation = 8432
Next difficulty = Difficulty * Miningpercentage = 1137

My bad.

A quicker block difficulty retarget would help prevent the mining bombs.

Maybe every 126 blocks. Or something
