A question about the big distribution planned for November 2nd. Will it be only for those who have 10 BTX or more, like the current 3% airdrops, or for everyone holding any amount of BTX?

Yes, coins are premined, but dev is highly trustable, with long history of trust. People who were holding BTC at the moment of snapshot (sometimes in March I believe) can claim BTX. Otherwise, BTX holders get 3% weekly airdrop until november. In november all remaining coins will be airdropped to BTX holders proportionally to their holdings.

Yes, it usually happens around 11-12 CEST.

So just wait a little bit until dev announces it.

Therefore, the global distribution of BTX between users should lead Bitcore to a wider road. Especially, I heard that the devs have no problems with financing. They can pay to enter any exchange.

its funny watching the morons try to artificially increase the price by moving their .1 and .2 BTX buys up .00000001 over the next highest ask every 20 seconds

I don't think this is the work of morons, more likely just some bots which place orders automatically.

yes, some are bots, some others are not and are morons.. they put in a buy order almost 1000 higher than everyone else in a small increment just to purposely raise the price so they can sell larger amounts.

this all started with the guy with the .4 and the 37.. the 2.07 is a bot.. they kept one upping each other but starting 900 higher, moving it up.. why on earth would you want to pay that much more to buy if the highest was at 6300. your trying to buy as low as you can unless your trying to artificially move up the price so you can then sell a larger lot.

you can get higher price if you intend to sell by placing small buy orders till they are being filled, then place another buy order with previous price wait for bots and fill their buy order with your coins, this works on small exchange like nova

It is not random. You can get the airdrop every Monday - 3%. 3*4 weeks = 12% per month.

Every monday, and to answer the airdrop question; it became evident that not everyone was going to claim there free btx; safely assumed the airdrop amount can be used.

100 *1.03^4 = 112.55

12.55% per month to be exact. Smiley

Hello everybody,

I am not able to get my BitCore Core Wallet synched.

For hours it has been stuck at "header data is being synched (48,9%)".

I already tried to delete all files in the data directory except wallet.dat, but it's still the same problem.

I also have 7 active connections to the Bitcore network, so that doesn't seem to be the cause of the problem.

Any ideas of what I could do to make the wallet work again?

Thanks!

Cheers,
Kay

do we still have weekly airdrop as the main page mention?
until November 2nd yes.

At least for now.
There's a discussion if this method really will be the best for the project.

There're some ideas (unofficially) like:
- do as planned and end the weekly 3% airdrop on 2nd November with the airdrop (90% to BTX holder, 10% for devs)
- do the airdrop, but only with 25%, then continue with 3% weekly for better growth in community to get more people on board more easily to get this coin known widely faster
- favor the people with more BTX and/or those who hold them longer

(and so on?)
