So... after the airdrop the price crash, but after a wile it rises again...
Do you think it's going to rise now? i'm very interested in this project but don't have enough fund to partecipate in airdrop... Just wondering if it's time to invest in this crypto what i have, need advice  Smiley

You will notice that as the Monday airdrop closes in, the price increases due to the fact that people are trying to get in before the airdrop commences and right after some people dump some of their coins. Price hasn't really moved that much though, even through this bear market.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

in terms of trade - HitBTC is not the best option. Why do not they give me full bets and cut the coin all the time? Then there are these terrible tails ... No HitBTC is definitely not an alternative to Cryptopia. If the project is planning to develop, can the coin appear on normal exchanges? Bittrex, Poloniex, Binance?

All have been applied to and to no avail. Binance rejected a 40k BNB listing fee so it is extremely cost prohibitive to try and list there. They are also really corrupt for requiring payment in their own token rather than in BTC or BTX. HitBTC, like it or not, is definitively the best alternative to cryptopia. They will not have deposit and withdrawal delays and they also lead to Changelly and potentially coinpayment for merchant adoption. At the moment, this is the best avenue the community has right now to further the project. Changelly requires enough volume to be on either HitBTC, Poloniex, or Bittrex. So basically trade there if you want to increase the odds of Changelly integration. While I was still on the dev team, I spoke to Bill Shihara on a few occasions and he directed me to Julian who is in charge of listings. At the time, Julian would not even speak to me in any substantial way. Poloniex hasn't really listed all too many coins of late and they have no real formal submission process other than the community form that can be submitted by anyone. So what do you think now? Wink

I think it's worth giving people a little more choice than he is now. how about voting with the choice of a new exchange?

This is the pattern with the coins that have airdrop proportionally linked to coin balance. The price dips right after the airdrop as dumpers are dumping the coins received from airdrop. And the price will go up when it is closer to next round of airdrop.

Voting? Well we could always try again but they still get to choose who is on the list. I take it you are going to pay the 450k USD equivalent listing fee? Its really not as simple as most people make it out to look.

considering how much you have coins for air, is this amount great for you?
Also here many accuse Cryptopia of theft, but tried to prove it? You, as a developer, probably can trace this to where the airdrop leaves. If there is reason to believe that they go to the purse of Cryptopia, then this should be shown on a general review and take action.
Also, you will agree that if, for some reason, Cryptopia has delayed the transfer, then you do not pay the airdrop. If we assume that Cryptopia is not to blame, then the developer benefits from the fact that the airdrop did not come.
I do not blame anyone, I just conducted a logical chain. If Cryptopia steals, let's prove it or we'll look for the reasons for the delays in the other!

And what if you prove it? What do you expect will happen?

You cannot do anything until you have alternative, and if you had alternative then you would not need to prove anything in the first place because first time that something like this happens people will just stop using Cryptopia and transfer to another exchange that has normal withdrawal time.

It is obvoous that part of the dump was because of cryptopia holding btx until after airdrop. Ofc this makes ppl lose trust in exchange and also btx.
In my case cryptopia held my btx for 15 hour then just release the coin an hour after airdrop.

Exchange in fact should not get airdrop and dev should review this ASAP

unfortunately you have to build a workaround on that. Most drops happen on Monday quite after the airdrop, so buying in at this time gives you 1) the cheapest price over a weeks perspective 2) 6 days to get in onto your wallet

And what if you prove it? What do you expect will happen?

I'm sorry if I'm writing clumsily. This makes Google translation, so now I will post 2 posts: original and translated.

You see what amounts go to airdrop. And after that they write that to spend 450k USD, so that the coin appeared on a large good exchange - that's a lot. For me it's a paradox.
I am sure that the withdrawal to such an exchange, as Poloniex, will increase interest in the coin and increase its value. But maybe the developer just does not need it?
And who else is interested in not getting the airdrop on time from the exchange to the purse? All the same developer!
I repeat that I do not blame anyone, just logical chains.
Therefore, unfoundedly blaming the Criptopia stock exchange, and at least anyone - is wrong.
And who can prove the "theft" of the exchange? Again, the same developer who sees where the money goes.
Why does not he do it? Because this (theft) is either not, or ...
For now, I see an attempt to drag more traders to the HitBTC exchange. What for? For large traders, the exchange is probably interesting, but for small or very small traders it's vryat. Again, these are the tails that remain after the trade, just freeze the brain.

I will add that I have not got a coin with Cryptopia for 30 hours before my wallet! So far, the status of "Processing".
If the stock exchange needs money for a airpod, why do they keep money for themselves 24 hours after it? Perhaps there is some more real problem?

This is my concern about the project, can someone tell me the plan of the team for this project when the airdrops stops, I have been thinking about this for sometime, because I that the volume of trade is low and this is due to the fact that most of these coins are locked in the wallet to be able to get the weekly airdrops

Why code in 20 MB blocks if you're SegWit ready?

Why not? When Bitcoin was starting, pulling 1MB blocks every 10 minutes was a pain. Also data storage was more expensive. This day in age, with fibre internet and fast broadband, you can have full 20 MB blocks every few minutes and network will be just fine.

This is not going well. Delays do not make sense if the network works well.
And, what do yesterday's dumps indicate? With high volume. Hurried sales

If we need to raise funds, let's raise funds to list it!

Airdrop on Monday, as far as I can see, was about 191 000 BTX. If in dollars, it's about $ 5 million.
and the developer does not have any 450k USD to bring a coin to a good stock exchange?

maybe I'm here something I do not understand, explain!

At the moment, no large and respectful exchange will take Bitcore for listing because now developers have a lot of coins. As soon as the airdrop is completed and, accordingly, coins from the developers, only then it will be possible to talk about large exchanges. You can also see the road map, when there are new exchanges.
