Quick question for the board. On myetherwallet, to make the VERI holdings appear, I recall from the ICO we put in the symbol (VERI) and decimals: 18, but don't have the address. For a friend who "lost" his view of his holdings. Thanks.

Why is this coin still unlisted? Countless ERC20 ICOs have listed on Liqui on the same day and on Bittrex the following week. Why is it taking so long for dev team to reach out to get this listed; I doubt other ICO developers had priority for listing in a timely manner yet their coins don't take weeks to trade.

Hey, so I thought I'd try and buy some Vertiaseum tokens. So I made an account with metamask, put a small amount of eth into it, and then deposited some of that ETH into Etherdelta. Im kind of frustrated right now because my deposit doesnt show up under my Etherdelta balance, but I can see my deposit here https://etherscan.io/tx/0x0210732d5d957f523d0fadfb3e8eaeebe408d8c2157d99c30208a3fce87ba7c7 has anyone else had this problem. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! You may need to refresh the cache. Thanks I reset the cache but that did nothing. Luckily I was testing with a fairly small amount. Be careful with this site.

These prices ain't nothing yet!! This token will go beyond 1:1 with ETH. Look at what it can do and realise this is a major disruptive tech. Fortunes will be created with VERI.
Wait til the proper exchanges list this... kaboom upwards!!

Reggie referred to the entire capital market of $1.635 quadrillion for Veritaseum to disintermediate.
But he also expressed his platform services only financial products that are illiquid and non-standardized (like letters of credit).
Such market is very small, much smaller than the entire capital market that is both standardized and non-standardized.
If that is true, then how is it appropriate for Reggie to refer to this $1.635 quadrillion figure?
Both the forex ($1.378 trillion) and equities & futures ($163 trillion) markets are predominantly standardized, very liquid, and have minimal friction costs.
That would leave only a small fraction of the entire capital market for him to disintermediate, a long shot from that $1.635 quadrillion figure.
I have no opinion of whether non-standardized transactions are ideal or otherwise, nor do I have any opinion of whether I should rewire my brain and start falling in love with non-standardized trades; that I leave to the capital market that Reggie tries to disintermediate to decide.
No, I am not a potential user of Veritaseum because I don't have any non-standardized assets with high friction costs to transact.
I am just curious if there is a possible misrepresentation of that $1.635 quadrillion capital market that can be disintermediated.
I don't want to slander nor be slandered out of this, so tell me where am I wrong in this?

I think the difference is the immediate market vs. the potential market, in time. The immediate market may be something less than $1.635 quadrillion, but with time, it can expand to encompass more.
I wouldn't expect them to do everything right out of the gate. Look at where Google started in the late 90's vs. where they are today.

What coin is using the VERI ticker already? I just checked Bittrex, and I don't see any. There is VRC (VeriCoin) and VRM (Verium), but I don't see any VERI, yet. Anyway, I expect it will be VERI, or maybe VE, but we'll have to wait and see.

What I undertsood in these veri tokens is that they are getting used like a ticket and not traded like a currency... once a token is used it disappears 4 ever from the market... u can´t use it again. Correct me if i´m wrong

VERI are tradable for goods or services. If you give me a VERI I now have it. If you give Reggie a VERI for a service, he will probably record it on his books. There is no reason to destroy them. What is unclear is how the Autonomous contracts will function, and again, it should be expected that you are trading a token for a good or service, and the commiserate value returned. Think of it like buying a pack of Giftcards at CostCo. they may have been discounted, and you are trading them for Goods, or services. You now longer control the card/token, it has not been destroyed. Also my calculation on current valuation of Veritaseum as a entity is $16,436,137, this is based on the real cash FLOAT of Veritaseum, and not the unissued reserve.

The Crowdsale is OVER. I see that people are still sending ether to the contract. Stop you are wasting gas. Do your own due diligence and come up with your valuation of VERI, then buy them where you can. Etherdelta has a low volume market currently. When listed on larger exchanges we will see MUCH higher volume. This could drive the price back to 0.033 ether per VERI or it could go higher... The market will decide. Based on past tokens, I would say we are more likely going higher than 0.033. The time for cheap VERI is over, you will now have to pay the market price.
