I understand that developers do not appear in this topic and do not consider this an important part of bringing potential investors to their project. It would be worth paying more attention to the users of this forum.
This is not their official ANN. Official or not, they've paid icocountdown to put up this ANN and also to be listed by icocountdown. And I don't think icocountdown will just come up with the materials & write up for this announcement.

IMO people on this forum are a bit too much used to have all the information falling from the sky. It's not such a hard thing to do to go to the website, read the paper, and meet the developers on their slack if you have questions. If it's too hard to do that feel free to pass, as it will make room for others. They don't need to go on their knees in front of the investors, as the ICO will end in less than one hour and will be over-funded, as it always happens nowadays for this kind of high-profile ICOs.

The owners should hire a community manager who could handle this thread, answer people's question and clarify things. otherwise there will be lots of mess and negativity will be created. the better work on it.

Do you have any video showing the use case of the card in real life like Plutus did in their 1 week experiment.
What about trading? Can the tokens be traded in the exchanges after the ICO?
What about regulatory issues? Have permissions been acquired from proper authority for issuance of such cards?
They have a Chinese partner who is licensed to issue Visa cards, so the project will first establish their market in China. For usage cases, I wrote a medium article about the project that includes a few. https://medium.com/@Urshulgi/tokencard-an-ethereum-startup-to-keep-your-eyes-on-d8b6194c1e36Any proof about the partnership between the Tokencard and the Visa issuing partner in China

It's just a high reach. Too high to follow through. It's like bait to get us booked but we know it's probably not true.

How do you ensure that banks will support tokencard?
It's not about getting banks to cooperate with it. Any merchant who accepts visa will accept TokenCard, since it's issued by a licensed Visa partner. If you're worried about using the card outside of China, you should know that it's your bank that sets the conditions on where your card can be used, not Visa. In the case of TokenCard, the issuer is not putting geographic restrictions on it. The TokenCard app will allow users to set up additional security measures for their card, like daily withdrawal and maximum withdrawal limits, among other features. Need to make sure people aren't getting payment processing and banking confused. Although many banks offer merchant services (payment processing), they do not control Visa. Visa is the worldwide payment network that banks, financing companies, and now blockchain projects can plug into. Visa provides consistency and guarantees for merchants, that's the whole appeal of their company in 2017. Hope that answers your question.

TKN will be created for the Capital Reserve, Monolith Studio, advisors and early investors as follows:
Monolith Studio, and Advisors 20% of TKN created during the creation event will be created for Monolith Studio, locked in a smart contract for 18 months. We wish to benefit only if the project is operationally successful. 5% of TKN created during the creation event will be created for and granted to advisors.
Capital Reserve 15% of the TKN supply will be credited to the reserve, but not issued. These TKN will be available as an additional fundraising mechanism for the TokenCard project, but may never be issued, depending on circumstances in the future.
During the Token Creation event, we imagine exactly 5 million TKN are created in response to incoming payments. After the Token Creation event ends, the following TKN are created: • 1,666,667 TKN for Monolith Studio • 416,666 TKN for advisors • 1,250,000 TKN for the Reserve In total, 7,083,333 TKN are ‘issued’ and 1,250,000 TKN are held in reserve.
Thank you for your notice. I will watch it and wait for ICO launching. I think the total supply is quite low and it's just only more 7mil coins so the price for each token is higher. Wow this looks really good. Don't think I've ever recalled any project offering to lock up funds for 18 months to incentivize continuous development.

may be they will open a bank by themself~ Banks does not need to support tokencard. All you need to do is find a merchant that accepts VISA cards, which is quite lot of them.

The BTC ANN communication has been quite unprofessional so far & there are less than 4 days to go. Forums are where the overwhelming majority of potential investors learn more about your project & have their questions answered, mostly those more interested in development specifics generally join slack etc. However with regards to the rest of the material, it is really well done, the concept, team & potential are all great too.

Looking at their slack, i don't think they'll have a problem getting the $12.5 million within hours.
