I think it will be $2000 in 6 months or less..

it could be happen if there is a good news in the market and many people is interesting with bitcoin and they are buying and selling bitcoin in the market so the price is increase. but many of us is hope that bitcoin price will be $2000 soon, less than 6 months and many of of us is waiting this price too. the more high bitcoin price, the more people is waiting so we can make big profit to sell in high price. but i am sure that for the price now, many of traders is waiting too and they are ready to sell for the price now.

Very possible indeed. Would love to see that 2K soon. It also has been a great year so far for other cryptocurrencies so let's see if this bullish trend continues.

I definitely love to see the price of bitcoin pump up to $2k for sure many are going to start selling their bitcoins by that time.

I really think that price is already enough for making a good profit though $1,300 is already making me satisfied.

This year surely is one of the best year and I hope that the pump will never stop or it will be stopped for awhile but it will increase again immediately.

In about a year from now on I would agree to that prediction. In 6 months or less  I don't know if that can be reached.It may be possible, it may not. As long as we continue moving up I don't really care how many months it'll take to be honest. But I'm sure it will happen. It's also important how we reach that 2000 area. Rising like late 2013 would mean we're in a crazy bubble which will pop sooner or later. I'm not a real friend of that kind of growth. So I'm hoping we continue to move upwards as we did the last 16-17 months.

Technical indicators, which are usually not the best way to determine price trends of crypto, but we use them anyway, are pointing that we might see $1600 soon.

But I still belive that $2000 is a distant dream. I would be more inclined to believe that BTC price might crash to below $1000 - as it happened before, than reach $2000.

I said it before - current bull run has no solid ground, traders are hyped by the info that SEC will give ETF another shot. That's basically all.

As much as I would like to see the $2000 level this year, I don't think it will become reality without a proper scaling solution. Most people don't spend much time thinking about everything related to BU and the potential hard fork, as the only thing they look at is the increasing price. It makes people blind where they completely ignore all potential dangers that might come towards us. Don't forget; as easy as the price goes up, it may come down as well.

All things can certainly happen easily. Bitcoin is a digital currency and also an investment that has incredible price movements. Every time there can be an increase and also a decline rapidly. Looking at the current conditions of course 2000USD in the next 6 months is not an impossible thing.

2000$ in 6 months is possible but there is a chance of it not happening maybe it needs time more than 6 months to reach the target price. There is a possibility that the price of bitcoin by 6 months is lower than the price it has now but I really do hope 2000$ in 6 months will be possible I as a bitcoin user would love to see it touch the target price by 6 months.

There is a possibility that the price of bitcoin by 6 months is lower than the price it has now but I really do hope 2000$ in 6 months will be possible I as a bitcoin user would love to see it touch the target price by 6 months.

I do not think any great occasion to bump the price in 6 months. Normally bitcoin value uses to increase in the Christmas month and always fluctuation in all other months. So I think it is possible to see the 2000$ in this year end or in next year February like bump happened in this year. Segwit will not let the bitcoin price to see in bottom value again.

Hopefully what you say will come true, friend. If in 6 months bitcoin prices can reach $ 2,000 I will get a lot of profit. It takes $ 700 for bitcoin to reach $ 2,000 and it is not impossible to achieve in less than 6 months. Bitcoin has a big fluctuation and now bitcoin is on a positive trend, $ 2,000 I'm sure will be achieved this year.

If Segwit gets activated in Bitcoin, $2000 will be reached in no time, because the roadblock for scaling to mainstream proportions will have been removed. But I think even if Segwit does not get activated this year, we will surpass $2000 this year anyway. There's a huge demand for safe haven assets, because of the inflationary and restrictive financial policy by the majority of Western countries. Once the bond and stock market bubble burst, Bitcoin will attract a portion of the freed capital - enough to fuel a significant rally to new highs.

At the year end yes I do see 2000$ becoming a reality and why not, everything looks favorable for Bitcoins. More and more people are coming in, the world economy is shaky and all that is rising strong is Bitcoins. Even if the so called war doesn't happen, countries are accepting Bitcoins by passing laws and this is a suit I feel shall continue and we shall see more and more Bitcoins laws. Then with brexit looming who knows that may also push up btc prices. Over all I am pretty positive that every thing will be good for btc and 2000$+ hopefully.

I think right now the whole crypto space is already too heated up and we'll see again a long period of weak hands getting out of the game. This time, altcoins will be bubbling and bitcoin will be going up when they start to struggle. That's when a spike above $2000 is possible, but only as a spike. I wouldn't be surprised to see sub $1k at the end of the year.

Honestly no need for that 6 months duration if the bullish activity will maintain it's impact compare to bearish activity.

And as I what see, good news is just a collateral factor to influence the price increase meaning a simple and normal trading activity can bring up the bitcoin price for what we didn't expect. So if ever there is a good news revolving around the trend, imagine now the impact it will bring to the price. We can expect big dumps afterwards but that will be recovered on a short period of time as we noticed with the last bad news we encountered that can considered as major one. Just go with the flow and surely we can have a nice dinner every night.

AT the current situation the price what you are telling is possible once it get approved by ETF which is the main reason of the current boom as now the next date been fixed for the result of adding it or not , but i think if this time it got rejected then we can see a big dump in price of bitcoin. and if got approved then $2000 price is also small one

Yeah it is possible to happen next year. We are going to see another new ATH from that moment. Whether it will take 6-12 months before it happen, it doesn't matter to me. As long as the price will reach $2,000.

bitcoin laws are ruining the bitcoin protocol Atm, though. if the bitcoin could be regulated, it wouldn't be called bitcoin. although the regulation improves the reliability of bitcoin, never expect it is by 100%.

the price of bitcoin is still uneasy to go to $2000 right now, unless more country promotes the advantage of bitcoin.

$2000 in 6 months? We might experience another dump before we could experience another pump going $2000 especially now with Bitfinex's unresolved problems with their bank.

This remains to be seen. Bitfinex issue is still unresolved. Let's say we enjoy the price pump or bubble as we are currently seeing. Let's hope the price touches $2000 before the bubble burst. Then will see another pump that will put the price to even new levels like $2500 or more.

You can hope Bitcoin touches $2000 but you know it cannot happen. Not now with the threat of Bitfinex closing down and doing a Gox. But look at it as an opportunity to accumulate more coins.
