Updated the OP Also, please everyone upgrade to https://github.com/hclivess/Bismuth/releases/tag/3.8Thank you for your cooperation 3.8 (highly recommended) Full support of escape characters in OpenField data transfers Support of message encryption with public key (decrypting will be added to GUI later) Anonymizing transaction mixer based on addresses, not IPs Full anonware included with release Full poolware with semi-automated payout support included with release Miner more resilient to errors Changed one sql handling bug, which caused nodes to get stuck on special symbols in OpenField data I get Google Chrome warning "Deceptive site ahead" red page, when I'm trying to download Bismuth. Try clearing you cache or try another browser. Never faced any such issue to load bismuth github. May be problem with your antivirus

Hello ! So I do like the look of this project and hope its going to be another legit project . But heres some questions: is this platform a torrent client base project ? Will the future dapps be deployed on the main chain or will there be an option to have their own chain like Lisk has for example ?

and which of the files shall contain the trojan?
you know that there is a miner in your file? normally, the av-tools recognize them as bitcoin-miner, but as it is in python and new, maybe they name it "wrong".

if you don't trust me try yourself, maybe it's a false positive, but create a file zip with all file installed and send to virustotal.. and after we can discute.. miner false positive is BTC.miner.. not trojan windows.eye this trojan is very specific.

doing more than just fud? it is what adults do...
do you believe everything an av tells you? so i don't understand why you are still in crypto...
i wanted to know where the hits come from, to explain if they are false positives or not.

i don't care if this is good project virus or other... but it's a fact: files contain trojan!! so dev need to explain this situation for the rest good life at all. and is not a generic BTC.miner.. it's a specific trojan: Win32.Trojan.WisdomEyes.16070401.9500.9878 so!!

Refrain from posting if you don't understand how heuristic analysis works. And you should always run stuff virtualized or isolated. Cheers.
Warning about social engineering: never trust anyone and only download from trusted sources

I don't understand which file "contains" trojan? Can you check all exe/dll files one by one? I run bismuth node/gui in a sandbox. And i run an installer in VMWare if I need some files from it. If you paranoic like I, you should choose this way.
And I saw example of one scam wallet from 2014 which don't have any positive on virustotal but steal wallet file from other coins software.

Let me announce there will be a 3.9 hardfork on August 1 to improve mining difficulty tapering and to introduce full data serialization (mainly on the network level) The hardfork will be immediate with the new client and old clients will be diverted to a fork, because communication protocol dramatically changes
