What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.?

I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

I think it is just fine advertising bitcoin into national or even public television.  Because it will be a good way to make more people know bitcoin and to make it also spread at the same time. We all know that television is a type of media where people gather informations about the happenings in the society. So if we advertise bitcoin in television, it will be the fastest and greatest way to spread bitcoin information to people enabling them to engage into bitcoin because they have already know what bitcoin really is.

I don't think also that advertising in television is needed. First who will fund it? It could be better to discover by ourselves or with known person guidance that knowledgeable on btc. Advertising it may cause for government to put taxes.

Advertising cannot generate taxes since you are not earning from selling advertising but rather buying ads on the other hand I think that is too inefficient, you are going to pay for an ad whether people watch it or not, and we do not have an assurance we are going to reach our target audience since younger generations are watching less and less television and are using the internet a lot more.

I think if the OP has come up with this idea, he can also come up with a cheap implementation. However, let’s see if the idea is a good one or a bad one. I think it’s a brilliant one. Publicity is publicity even if it’s a bad one. People will at least get to know of this.

Youth is involved more in internet but I can bet most of them are just wasting their time.

Elders, who watch TV, have more wisdom. May be some of the parents, if impressed, will ask their children to further search about bitcoins.

Advertising through media is not at all required. When advertising, the adoption will take place in large scale and importantly the sudden growth will target the audience and reach easier. Same time the advertising too will be acting as an disadvantage for the growing community.

I agree wigh you all advertising on tv is unecessary and let people discover this .  becuase if  it will advertise on t .v  so much people will use this ,  and i think that is the one way that the bitcoin will down because many bitcoin user hard to apply in signature campaign. Becuase of big amount of user.

Just bitcoin being a decentralized currency is an advantage that no government could take control over bitcoin,since there is no central authority,bitcoin has not been yet advertised in T.V.We the bitcoin community,instead could spread the news about bitcoin in social medias like face book,twitter and spread the knowledge about bitcoin all over the world.

I don't think that will be a good idea because who will pay for the advertisement fee. If bitcoin become popular later some tv will add some section about crypto, maybe something like a talk show to explain about crypto to the viewer.

I do not think so, the effect will not be too high when advertising bitcoin on TV because most viewers are older people, they will not care about bitcoin, they only care about news every day. My family is the best proof, they watch TV and they care about world affairs, society, when TV talk about bitcoin, they switch channels immediately, I think we should advertise bitcoin on social networks, this is a gathering place for many young people and investors, the effect will be very high

Media has already started sharing information about bitcoin. Today a daily national newspaper and tv channel published a complete article about bitcoin here in my country so the trend has already started.

I do not think so, the effect will not be too high when advertising bitcoin on TV because most viewers are older people, they will not care about bitcoin, they only care about news every day. My family is the best proof, they watch TV and they care about world affairs, society, when TV talk about bitcoin, they switch channels immediately, I think we should advertise bitcoin on social networks, this is a gathering place for many young people and investors, the effect will be very high

its a better idea to advertise on social network, i confess that i dont wanted to watch TV. i better searching at internet or social media, its not like i can watch TV everywhere with limited access.
also older people that dont wanted to know about bitcoin, i think that they have done with the growing world. they only think about some hot news that occur on local. better than knowing global without any will to help.

Airing the advertisements on television would be a very good step. Television is a very good medium and it will surely help the people getting the knowledge of bitcoin, who don’t know about it. Spreading the information of bitcoin in the whole world is what is needed. Involvement of the people who don’t know about this, in the bitcoin is really important for them and for the price of bitcoin too.

I think if bitcoin advertise on t.v . a lot of people use this and bitcoin become famous .becuase of this continious value  is increasing many people persuade to use this .and i think many people become rich someday .

Nowadays, people use internet more than television. We need to introduce BTCs to the new brains more than the old generation. The youth should be aware of BTCs to become successful and rich. Still we have people who use radios so increasing the means of publicity might just help grabbing more investors.

Correct, old people can understand bitcoin but many of them are too set on their ways and are not willing to learn anything new and this is why sometimes I do not bother teaching bitcoin to people after a certain age since I’m going to receive the same puzzled looks that I always receive but when you talk to young people at least they have their minds open to new ideas and technologies.
