What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.?

This is a great idea. If we advertise about bitcoin on TV people will able to know about it. Maximum people are unknown about this.  TV will be the best way to let people know about it.

I will also appreciate this idea because advertisement is the most authentic way of promoting something, and by doing this more and more people will know about bitcoin in a very short time, and then they will also accept this digital currency as a legal currency. By this way bitcoin will take short time in prevailing the world over. The governments will also think about this to legalized bitcoin in their countries.

Advertising something is not the most authentic way to promote something, word of mouth is, which is the dispersal ideas from one person to the next, and thanks to social media word of mouth has become a lot more powerful, bitcoin is not something that you can advertise the same way companies promote their products, bitcoin is a network and it needs to grow slowly similar to what happened with other internet companies like facebook and google.

Let's face the harsh truth - TV as a medium is in decline. Soon every TV-like activity shall move to the internet.
Just look at Netflix, HBO GO and other platforms conquering cyberspace. We are not living in mid 90. anymore, the internet is the medium of choice for the people.
We don't need TV commercials or advertisement to push Bitcoin popularity higher. I mean, have you ever seen the commercial about 'the internet' (as the network)?

i think that advertisement is one fo the most important tole of promoting some thing, i think advertisement is the soul for any product to be promote and make it more popular, so to me i think TV is the best option to introduce bitcoin throughout the world, we can see that bitcoin is already introducing through social media which has a good impact on the popularity of bitcoin.

The only thing that can advertise in television is the ICO when they have alrwady working product but if not it will be hard. Bitcoin alone can't be televised for who will be the one to pay the fee on nefworks.only ICO,websites and some business organizations can mke it. It will be nice that it can be see anywhere in internet than in tv.

The soul idea is great and might be happening in the future. But now I don't think the whole world is ready for bitcoin. And if they will know bitcoin the price surge high and demand be in beyond in compared. It will be hard for us all when we know for the fact that it has only 21 million in supply and only limited. Advertising bitcoin in television is a good idea, thru it, people will be aware of its existence and maybe its advantages. Although, advertising agencies may have a hard time on how to portray its uses and all. Yes, most people usually watch TV everyday but they only see the news about the world, they watch action movies and TV games, they do not care about bitcoin, so I believe the performance of advertising bitcoin on tv is not high. In my country, tv also talk about bitcoin but really, i can say they do not have any knowledge about bitcoin, they just talk about silly things and spread rumors that are not real, this makes many people afraid and not believe in bitcoin rather than help bitcoin become popular

I don’t think for any possibilities that it will be advertised on TV because for sure the government will disagree on that matter. Bitcoin in some country is illegal. On the other hand, advertising on TV is so expensive. Who do you think will pay for it?

There’s another way on how to advertise bitcoin, and that is through social media. Nowadays, people spend most of their time in social media. For me, advertising through social media is an effective way to promote bitcoin. I’m pretty sure a lot of people will be more aware about it rather than advertising it on TV. And you don’t have to pay expensive amount just to promote it.

And who will do so? Considering that there is no central authority managing bitcoins, I doubt anyone will be willing to do the ad with their possess cash. The funds you are going to be putting into the adverts can be used in purchasing bitcoins so why go the other way?

Correct, bitcoin is not like a company that can dedicate part of their funds to marketing, bitcoin does not have that, there is not a central authority that can dedicate a part of the bitcoin mined to that purpose, so any promotion needs to be paid from our own pockets and I doubt that people will want to invest money on media advertising if they can instead use that money to buy even more bitcoin.

I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't if know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

I guess the main problem is that bitcoin is open-source, community driven... Altough there are some bigger players on the market.
I think this would make it incredibly difficult to get a concensus on which add would be shown, as well as finding sponsors to foot the bill. TV ads aren't cheap

But yes, IF there would ever be a concensus about showing a TV ad, and we would find somebody footing the bill, i think it would give BTC and incredible boost. In my country, most people still think bitcoin is only used by criminals, they always give me a strange look when i tell them i have some btc to.

Maybe bitcoin will more famous because of that. And many people having interest by using bitcoin. And also theyre eagerness to earn especially to those people who is unemployed.
