just read somewhere that the tokens are more or less useless (like most of them lol)

so - if EOS will ever launch. do i have the chance to EXCHANGE my EOS Tokens (Ethereum token) to a EOS coin? or not?

if the system works with DPOS there must be at least some coins at launch or there is no delegate which gets voted into the 21 who are able to forge coins.

am i right?

does somebody know?

thanks!

You get all your EOS tokens at genesis block of EOS network. Network will be launched with 21 initial delegates with very low amount of votes.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

The distribution of this token is very complicated. If for example they raise 1,000,000 eth for 200,000,000 eos tokens during the first period, does this mean that 1 eos=0.005 eth (1,000,000 eth : 200,000,000 tokens) ?

Hi guys, i tried to buy Eos today, i used Myetherwallet, i sent Eth and now what? I used tutorial from

https://steemit.com/eos/@thimom/how-to-use-myetherwallet-for-the-eos-ico

but i cant see any eos tokens on my account. I sent Eth to their address and now i afraid that i will not receive Eos. Any advice?

Did you follow the steps from 1 to 5 exactly and in detail?

The eos registration section is for later (2 steps) at the end of the crowdsale

Thank you, i think i have to claim Eos after period 0 ends. Cheers

Why the ominous warnings applied to this ico?

Ie: you have no rights to anything. You might not even get your coins. There are no guarantees, etc.

Not very reassuring. It seems your comments are opposite the terms and conditions. You are saying you WILL get your coins. Terms and conditions explicitly say we dont have to give you shit.

Can we expect you to fuck investers like you did with the angel shares nonsense

It sounds like this is essentially Ethereum, but much more efficient seeing as though it has asynchronous processing of smart contracts.

https://steemit.com/eos/@dantheman/join-me-at-consensus-2017-for-the-eos-launch-party

He hasn't released many details yet, but I guess the details will come in after Coindesk's Consensus conference.

So it's Ethereum running on Ethereum except faster?  Like a dream in a dream?

Is this EOS Ethereum On Steroids or Ethereum On Steemit? What's the latest speculation about this? Smiley
EOS looks like a good project but 1 year sale plan doesn't sound good TBH.

I'm not sure. Dan hasn't come here since the early Bitshares days though. I think he got frustrated with the closed mindedness of these forums. That was back when pretty much all of the forums considered anything that wasn't Bitcoin a scam.

It is looking like this will be the biggest ICO in history. They already raised $64,472,760 ...

Yes this number is insane, however I have a feeling that when hype will end then we will have better deal to buy days later.
Btw. From what I understand tokens will be avaliable to trade before ICO ends yep? If so this will be very weird.

Not neccesarily. They will be tradeable as soon as July 1sy, so they will be worth whatever you can buy them on the free market for, or however much you can buy them in the current ICO round for. Both prices will tend towards each other, but they will be dynamic and always changing over the course of the next year.

Yunbi invested 150000Eth

To follow their formula: “You will get = a*(b/c)” you actually won’t get much if participate in first 5 days of ICO.
As Yunbi put already 150K of ETH we can easily calculate that it will be worth more if you get tokens later.
For example at the end of 5 day they would have 300000 ether. If you put 1ETH *(  200000000 / 300000) = 666 tokens
If later, we need total contributed ETH not more that 3000.  1 ETH (2000000 / 2999) = 666.8
I do not think that every day they will have 3000 ETH from people. It will be 3000 *340 days = more than 1 million eth.. ~ third billion US$ - unreal.

If so then price for people that bought during first 5 days will fall. Smarter money will come in days later.

This looks like repeat of Bancor crowdsale but on a much larger scale. ICO prices were too high compared to exchange trading prices.
It's not even the fault of these ICO's, the public is throwing millions of dollars on them for just a whitepaper and dream vision. Why should they care if they are getting free money so easily.
