Why are you guys still so hellbent on proving and disproving things about this project? I already lost faith in this project tbh, but it can still go either way I guess
i dont understand it either.. i can not even find the price of it on coinmarketcap nor on messari is it being listed only on yobit? Don't use Yobit if you are thinking of buying or selling. They never updated the wallet from about a year ago and despite the team trying to contact them they have not responded. The only place to buy and sell is on the Wave Dex - https://waves.xtrabytes.global or by using one of the Waves apps. The volume is very low. Price can be found here: https://coincodex.com/crypto/xtrabytes/?period=7DIts not showing on cmc as Coinexchange recently shut and that's where about 99% of the admittedly low volume was.

Delisted on CMC, bye bye centralized scam.
It won't be able to be searched soon since full delisting is like 1 month +/-, that's why for the last 2 years I've said those patents were so important. No patents = No exchange or way forward

I dunno, personally I think this project has run its course and its dying now. Without patents the project just won't really have much value compared to other projects out there. The thing is, this space is always changing so if you're looking forward to making money, there are indeed better investments. If it's for the tech, then maybe but at this point its just a "secret sauce" project. Maybe it will change in the future, but as it stands right now there's not really any point in in fussing over this coin Yeah there are exchange query sites like coingecko (charts doesnt show on that too) and others that you can see the price on, but 99% of the people in crypto go to CMC to check out project data. This project has basically hit near zero visibility at this point with it being kicked off CMC. Maybe CCR will do something to save it, but as it stands now, I think its just a sinking ship (its following the hallmarks of alot of other projects that came to be and then died) In a way, I guess it hurts the people who are heavily invested in this more than anything, but as long as you aren't over extended even if this project dies, it shouldn't make too much of a difference to your portfolio (never gamble with money that you actually need)

KYC = Centralized
Waves != Exchange. XtraBytes has full control of their own gateway confirmed by Waves. Once again you have to trust that ltd on the seychelles though their leader is not even using his real name.
Doesn't matter really, the only important thing is it needs patents since without patents this is a dead project

Not even George is using his real name on this and the people for not even know. When even he is using a fake name, how to trust anyone or even anything?
Dunno, my main interest was the patents rather then who or what the people in this project are. I'm invested in alot of projects with anon people so I don't mind anonymity, but the main issue is that considering that it's been 23 months and both the tech and new exchanges rely on patents, then there's really no point in investing in this. Even the cartoon avatars was fine imho if they could demonstrate the technology with a working product, but "telling people its good, without showing its good" isn't a good way to run a project. Ironically if they had gotten patents anytime in the last 22-23 months then they could have gotten on exchanges like Bittrex or Kucoin (assuming that those exchanges would be keen on accepting the project), but now I consider this project to be as dead as Junkcoin or Electrowatt (another waves based token) *shrugs* In reality, if they were serious and had anything of substance or value, and wanted this project to move forward and progress, they would have/could have already gotten [a] patent/patents - provisional patents, that is. Low cost, only minimal abstract description(s)/explanation(s) needed, and nothing that could potentially result in your invention or idea being stolen - just a general overview of the item is needed, it grants patent-pending status, allots one full year to continue working on your real application, and costs ~$200 TOPS. It’s generally $100 a some change. If they were as close to finished with the applications as they’ve lead on and they really had something revolutionary, then going this route is a no-brainer. Also, regarding getting on larger exchanges - it’s not going to happen. The reason it won’t happen is because big exchanges like Bittrex and Binance require a full and extensive KYC process in order to get listed. This is why they’ve never actually tried to get on larger exchanges. Plain and simple. This is why Xtrabytes is always on small, shitty, scam exchanges. Cryptopia was the biggest, ‘most legit’ exchange they were on. Cryptopia was also probably the largest exchange that DIDN’T require KYC from project owners. Funny that the team who wants to be anonymous and who won’t go through KYC is requiring KYC from node holders. Also yeah, I would never give KYC to this project. Infact, KYC turns off alot of people I would imagine, so I doubt it will happen in the near future. I considered holding a node a long time ago, but at this point, nah I wouldn't really bother, especially since I hate waves GUI

Why don't you just use your Fallenkeith72 account - everybody knows it's you. You've been doing this alt account shit for about 18 months now and you aren't fooling anyone. As for the Feb 2019 date that was given - they expected them to be finished then which, is why they gave the date but when they got what they thought would be the final documents the technical details weren't fully described.

Meh no one knows when this project will even get them, im not really interested as much as I used to be though. I feel like I should be, but nah when Chrisdanette left this project, I lost huge faith, same with Ashley losing faith in the team. As the final member on the board (besides myself btw but im just neutral at this point), Chris was probably one of the strongest believers in this project, so that pretty much shatters what little faith I had in this project. Maybe things will change, but I don't really see it happening. I guess if people really are visiting this thread, take a look at my comment (not just the one above) and ask yourself "it's been almost 2 years, am I willing to wait another 2 years with no patents"?

But yeah, as for my personal opinion, I do believe that this project has quite run its course. Overall I'm pretty sure this project will die fully in the upcoming months since there are too many issues with it. First, the patents are at 23 months and counting. The project relies on patents to be able to move forward. Two, this project has an abysmal reputation almost as bad as bitconnect in the crypto community. Three, the project made alot of promises with X-Dex, and other software which never came to be. Without regaining investor trust, I doubt anyone will ever want to invest in this much. https://deadcoins.com/entry/4664/?gvid=1308Xtrabytes has been added to deadcoins as well (they validated it as a dead / dying project) ________ Coin Name Xtrabytes Coin Code N/A Summery Description Patents were promised in 2018, but the project has been mismanaged and is now on its deathbed. Link xtrabytes.global Category Deceased Entry Date October 9, 2019 This project was dead in 2018. Holy fuck just let it die already. It technically died in 2019, its been delisted from CMC, using a competitors Dex (which they're supposed to be "rivals" against), And has one of the worse reputations in crypto history besides bitconnect. Even if you believe in this project, most people wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. The only people still trying to promote this in places like /r CC are people with bags so heavy they can't afford to lose them. TLDR : Having to ask "When Patent" for 23 months is not exactly a healthy investment

But afaics this project is pretty much on its deathbed. I don't feel like investors should buy into this only to ask "when patent" incessantly until 2020+. Also the quality of your community has gone down considerably, and some of your community (certain people) would make people even more unlikely to want to buy into this project.

Of course everyone should trust Cameron lol I'm sure people can do their own research by clicking on the links and seeing the work that is being done. They can go into the Discord and ask the team and then make their own minds up.
Rather than listening to me or obvious trolls like you Cameron.

I urge everyone to copy lines from Xtrabytes commits on GitHub and paste them into Google and search. Numerous results come up. Seems like the team is just piecing things together with other projects’ code.

That’s a whataboutism. We’re not talking about other projects. Most other projects aren’t claiming to have revolutionary technology either. Why does a highly skilled team led by a programming genius need to copy and paste all the code for their project?

Posting this here incase CCR checks this thread, the arguing is the same in all the threads for this project *shrugs* Checking this thread and nothing but arguing. Still no patents in nearly 24 months and still delisted on CMC with virtually zero volume, what's the point exactly in continuing arguing about this? There's pretty much no new people coming into this project and this project isn't healthy. Even if this project gets patents, I doubt its gonna attract new people since this project is too far gone at this point. In 2018 I wouldn't have been ashamed to recommend this to friends (obviously its a bad idea in hindsight), but as it stands now I wouldn't recommend it to my worse enemy. There's tons of projects that are -90%+ down since ATH, but there are so many projects that didn't lie about the patents coming in 2018, has a cancerous community (the endless arguing is a good example w/ all the censorship in addition) and basically full of this many issues (no i'm not talking about the team being anon which I never had a issue with, i'm talking about issues with the project itself). Maybe it will work out for investors, but as it stands this project is nowhere near healthy enough to be truly successful in the crypto world. The most likely result of this project is that it will remain delisted on CMC, bag holders will continue to be bag holders and there will be no patents this year and will probably continue for 3+ years at this rate. Maybe i'll be proven wrong, but pretty sure I've been in crypto long enough to see where this project will end up. I'll go ahead and backup my claims about some of the things I bought up and post some links below. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/xtrabytes/ (this project no longer has a rank) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5134924.msg51675203#msg51675203 (here's proof that it's been 24 months as of next month, from the founder himself) Search Crex+XBY in google to find Crex exchange and you can see the volume for it and it's not even $10 which it had easily on Coinex. https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/search?q=xtrabytes&restrict_sr=on (these are from posts on /r cc associated with this project. It's easy to gauge what people think about this project if you search through these threads) If you see this CCR, most people just want patents and to move forward but at 24 months, it's probably too late to restore investor confidence.
