Price is going up on cryptopia today. Good that I bought yesterday Smiley

yes, it must be higher because it can be considered as fork of Monero.
I has bought some coins to hold for long time period ans wait for more bigger exchanges in the future.

I've joined this coin and bought 500 coins on the cryptopia exchange.
I can see this coin is interesting and I want to test this my luck. I will keep these coins until the price is 1$ to sell .

Yes. Like pascalcoin and Minereum
The price will jump to more than $ 5

How to use the sumo wallet that i created with the wallet generator?

Wallet generator is to generate an address (and related info to restore wallet) that is often used for pool mining for example.

To have a full wallet, you'll need to run a node and use command-line to restore the wallet (with 26 mnemonic seed words) as guide here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1905086.msg18910789#msg18910789

Or you may want to wait for GUI wallet that set to have first alpha release in late this month.

I think there may be a problem with the network, please try to run with log-level 2 to see if any hint:

Code:
sumokoind --log-level 2

Some ppl reported that reducing "block-sync-size" could help in some cases, so pls try with:

Code:
sumokoind --block-sync-size 20

Is the log save in a specify directory?.

i want to show, its appear a lot of information quickly.

But i think with sumokoind --block-sync-size 20 is working better.

Hi guys. Just a quick question.
I used the online wallet generator and got a address, seed, spend, and view keys.
I started mining to my address.

As I understand it, there is currently no user friendly wallet at the moment. Is there anyway to track my balance/do transactions in the mean time?

I think there may be a problem with the network, please try to run with log-level 2 to see if any hint:

Some ppl reported that reducing "block-sync-size" could help in some cases, so pls try with:

Code:
sumokoind --block-sync-size 20

Thank you, this solve the problem. I'm ready synchronized

Hi guys. Just a quick question.
I used the online wallet generator and got a address, seed, spend, and view keys.
I started mining to my address.

As I understand it, there is currently no user friendly wallet at the moment. Is there anyway to track my balance/do transactions in the mean time?

Download the windows wallet from the announcement post on page 1 of this thread

Navigate to the drive and directory that contains sumo-wallet-cli

Run sumokoind and let it synchronize

Open a command prompt at that location (easiest way to do it is by shift + right click inside the folder and click Open command window here)

Type: sumo-wallet-cli --restore-deterministic-wallet

Once you press enter you will be prompted for a wallet file name. Give your wallet a new name, any name will do

Press enter again and you will be prompted for a password. Give your wallet a new and long password

Press enter again you will be prompted to repeat the password

Press enter again and you will be prompted to enter the seed words which you hopefully have written down somewhere

Let it refresh, you are ready

What's the advantages of Sumokoin over Manero?

They will focus on stability, user-friendliness & they will probably have a distinct advantage in the Japanese market in particular. (Bitcoin adoption is growing rapidly in Japan, thanks to recent regulatory changes and may increase even more via retail acceptance https://www.bloomberg.com/news/videos/2017-05-30/how-bitcoin-usage-may-rise-in-japan-video )

So if they could become the most popular privacy centric currency in Japan that could be very lucrative and a version of Monero that is stable and focuses on user friendliness could be very popular in all markets.

How many coins at this price have 3 active devs? If they are really working on Sumokoin it has the potential to do very well imo.

Code:
status
Height: 16981/16981 (100.0%) on mainnet, not mining, net hash 356.02 kH/s, v1, u
p to date, 5+0 connections

Glad to hear that Smiley
