At Dec 25th, I´d like to transfer some Sumos from my wallet-cli to my Cryptopia account. But they never arrived. This is what wallet-cli tells me about an obviously mistyped transfer:
83980 out 2017-12-25 127.287463097 7ca222c019c19d874e708f8632510d24c78f7612fea7e378accd676f18e4a113 2cf9e71869d687a229ec93aa118734eb8402e87513db39f4845adfc4bdf7acb4 0.009013600 SuboWJPwEx7dGexqvoCrRMANcZEhRxaV3E3JuBQyWw6zBkBu25DwixVEbRggH9KLNuZ8rCW5YhvaBjT G6pvK4US41RkhmgsF62: 127.287463097 0 -
The target address is one character shorter than it should be and starts with Subo instead of Sumo. However, wallet-cli accepted this transaction. It is found in the block explorer.
How is it possible to transfer to an invalid address? Any chances to get the 127 Sumos back?

something wrong with pool.sumokoin.com now? i'm having issue keep getting lost of connection.
It is saturated. It's adviced to use other pools. Just check sumopools.com I use https://easyhash.io EasyHash but the connection to the pool was lost a couple of times at least, for whatever reason. What are the most stable pools for Sumokoin?

Ok, maybe not a typo. Seems that this is a subaddress. Does Cryptopia use this stuff for deposits? All the other deposits I did went to a standard address. And they arrived . But this one not. It´s also interesting that according to the facebook site, subaddresses were implemented in version 2.0 "Sapporo". I did this transaction on the morning of Dec 25 with version "Hokkaido".

For those having issues with the main SUMO pool, utilize one of the other ones on this list. Please be mindful of not concentrating your hashpower to one big pool: http://www.sumopools.com/

This level of confidentially may attract unnecessary number of illegal goods retailers into the project.

Cryptopia to the best of my knowledge doesnot support subaddresses as they have not upgraded their wallet yet. Open a support ticket with them and explain your issue. If you are lucky they will either fix or compensate you

Like physical money (fiat) attract illegal goods retailers, that's the downside of a fungible token carrying a certain value

Incredible gains for this project. How and why is this happening? It is happening because SUMO is a viable XMR alternative (better than the other forks out there). I'm mostly impressed by the mining algorithm - the yield has dropped exponentially vs. the ever-increasing hashrate from the last few days. Outside of that, I'll just leave this here: https://i.imgur.com/DhIKgXd.jpg

Incredible gains for this project. How and why is this happening? "Incredible gains" --> I don't think so, 7$/sumo is only 19m$ MK, phore MK (other anonymous "craptopia coin") is 42 m$ MK...

I agree and I believe this surpasses XMR in 2018. $300+ in 2018 will be easy and I can see $500 when you factor in that XMR will grow and this will surpass. Stay tuned! Great community and viable coin!

Incredible gains for this project. How and why is this happening? I've been mining Sumokoin for several weeks, it's a promising long term projects - that's why I'm sad from this sudden pump as the inevitable dump will follow and will destroy Sumokoin's long-term credibility.

I am not sure about the dump, because no one can predict such things. A thing to keep in mind is as more people have switched to SUMO, the yield has declined drastically. And this helps the price since there aren't enough coins to dump. I love the minging algo's adaptability, but what that does to price remains to be seen. I also don't think a dump will affect SUMO's long term credibility. There are a lot of other things yet to be achieved and the project is pretty young. Regardless, kudos to the devs for this feature.

Come on even I who want all these privacy coins to moon don't think it will go that far. Dash and Monero are far ahead and they have time on their hands and built big communities, I don't think we can actually hope to overtake them in 2018. But being by their side and being top 25 in coins would be pretty damn cool.

Yes, you are right, many miners switched to sumo... but they're not the fans, the small long term miners that keep the system working... they have to pay their huge electricity bills and they have to pay it regularly - so no hold for several months or years. I also do love the mining algo's adaptability - the reason why I suppose Sumokoin to be long-term viable coin - and that's also the reason why this pump can't be kept. The 20% gain in one month is an organic growth, the 200% in two days is a destructive overheating. I love Sumokoin and I hope it will survive the dump back to balanced level (regardless of the fact that I do not know when it will happen).

IF and there's a big one there if it happens. The fact that it gained so much value in the last couple of days doesn't necessarily means it's bad. It actually might only mean good, as the community grows and as it gets more recognition it gets more credibility. Look at Bitcoin and the latest one that was mooning far beyond that, XVG. Incredible gains for this project. How and why is this happening? What will drive the price is the fact that it's new and you can get in on the ground floor. My thought process behind initially investing heavy way back below 25 cents was, how much would I buy if I was able to buy Monero at 25 cents? I think it's fair to ask that question of SUMO all the way up to the $100 range. How soon, nobody can predict.

XVG was pumped by John McAfee's (for sure non-accidental) tweet. Bitcoin is a news headliner and gains 100% in one month, Sumokoin is a "nerd's" thing and gains 200% in two days - and all the gain is directed by one subject (entity)... The price growth is "favourable" for me but I prefer the "stability" and organic growth over the fast "get rich".
