- Location: Europe - Germany
- Pool fee for testing period: 1%
- SUMOkoin version: Phoenix (0.9.14.0)

About
Poolele.com was created by a bunch of devs, in order to consolidate mining hustles and combine hashrates.
It is based on the Cryptonote-Universal-Pool software forked and forked and forked again, by billaue2 (thanks, dude).
Since it's creation (10 days ago) we overcame major obstacles like the inability to wake up properly without coffee, and writing comprehensible code with /*comments*/.
- No hidden fees and "lost" hashrate.
- No gambling with your privacy and earns
- No content on our website, but we thought you'd appreciate a GUI SUMOkoin wallet more, so we do that first
- No way I'm wearing that!

First of all thank you guys for your pool which will be added at sumopools.com
I see that you are planning to create an unofficial GUI wallet for SUMO with a high transaction fee like you did with AEON
Please note that Sumokoin has already an official GUI wallet with NO fees. (version 2.0 is tested by users on telegram and will be announced officially very soon to replace the first version)
So if you are planning to create such a wallet you should firmly specify that this is neither endorsed, tested or in any way approved by Sumokoin development team

Thank you for pointing out that a SUMOkoin GUI Wallet already exists, this milestone is to be either deprecated or strictly announced as a non-endorsed and proprietary solution of a wallet!
Appropriate disclaimer will be also added in any future announcements, so as to clarify all these matters  Grin

New Cryptonote miner available. I've not yet tested it as there is no Windows binary available, but there is a binary available for it's predecessor.
Has anyone tried it yet ?
It looks like it's based on SGminer-gm, but I'm not sure.

I did not test it, but the info is interesting! Perhaps I'll give it a try this weekend.  Wink

A quick question (because I am interested):

Lot of people wanted a second (a bigger) exchange. Sumokoin is on Livecoin since a few weeks now, but the big part of the volume stays on cryptopia. I wonder why it is that way? Any thoughts?

I switched my pool from the official pool to https://sumo.sumominer.com
And I am mining for like 6hours and getting no rewards?
Hmmm is this normal?
Im thinking to going back again to https://pool.sumokoin.com

But because of the message "Official pool is about to saturate with too many miners at the moment and that may result in connection drop and less productivity for you. So, you can choose another pool near your location from the list at www.sumopools.com. Thank you."

I want to help the official pool be de-congesting.

Thanks

Don’t you worry my friend, probably your current pool has a lower hashrate which means you’ll find blocks a bit more slowly, but your reward will be the same once a block is found if not more (as you’ve probably chosen a pool with lower fee)

Example: So let’s say pool.sumokoin.com finds a block every 10 minutes, and you get 0.1 coin from every block reward. You get 0.6 coin per hour, fee is 1%. The other pool finds a block every 6 hours but you get 3.6 coins from every block reward, and you pay less in fees. It’s the same on a distance Smiley
Please note that your balance will be only updated once a block is found. Trust me, I used to mine on the main pool, now I’m mining on my own pool but I actually get more coins thanks to lower fees. Luck varies by the way, sometimes we see 250% effort, other times 30% effort, but the average luck is always around 100%. Hope this helps Smiley

Thanks

I just use Polaris Bios Editor and select the 'One Click Timing Patch' and then use Afterburner to turn up the Memory Clock, a little bit at a time, and turn down the Core Voltage, again a little bit at a time. This works well.

The Sumokoin Gui wallet works great in Ubuntu 17.04 64 bit now. Grin

I have only one request, it only shows the two latest "Resent Transactions" I think you should be able to scroll down and see all of them. Wink

Can anyone give me a hand to start mining Sumokoin. I tried downloading AMD stark but the computer keeps thinking it's a virus so I opted for Claymore Cryptonote AMD GPU miner v10.2 I have setup the start.bat as follows:

GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

 NsGpuCNMiner.exe
-o stratum+tcp://sumo.sumominer.com:4444
-u Sumoo3thbUr4vxAsyK4hZWg2Lq2Y2N7TibQhshSeZSNtHQx53QkSdXuh4yULEagUnHiJNeX1YouG69g RW2uqgVsHYSFcsrGwtGj
-p x
-allpools 1

Pause

But I get an error every time and it crashes, have I set something up wrong here?

@Xeon-Xeon:

I couldn't make the SumoGUIWallet to work in ubuntu 16.04...
I followed the instructions here:
https://github.com/sumoprojects/SumoGUIWallet

Compiled everything correctly blabla and when opening a get the following error:

">python wallet.py
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "wallet.py", line 8, in <module>
    from main import main
  File "/SumoGUIWallet/main.py", line 17, in <module>

Dont bother compiling it. There is a tar.gz2 prebuilt version that works fine. Either wait for Bill to post the link here (he might do it today) or join telegram and download it from the link at the pinned message.
