This is true, but it seems to me that the main reason is that on a psychological level, people should be able to see and feel what he has. This creates the illusion of security from the fact that he will not lose his money. Well for now Fiat currency is strongest of all currency out there. It has been used for a long, long time, and it will be used for quite some time in the future. Electronic way of paying is still new in some countries, and its been growing, which is good, i think it is part of progress. But who knows if cash will survive in future, i do not think that it will. Electronic way of paying is the future.

Cash is better than bitcoin? I think there is only one thing, because we can give the money directly to a person or to a store if we want to buy things. But bitcoin is also good because if they don't know your account it will not steal of anyone so always secure your account.

There's no way to steal your bitcoin unless you will let someone know it. I won't compare cash to bitcoin as they are both useful to me. But when it comes to usage, cash is still useful as most of the stores are not aware of what bitcoin is. So there's no need for you to compare and choose what's better, they are both.

Even though there are several innovation happening with the economic development, still there are users who doesn't have any idea about the card usage. So only a group of people who show interest into the digitalized use of the currency in the future when everything becomes digital.

When decentralization was introduced to us this kind of system and technology was a real innovation and it will not be realized by us and others if it's value didn't increase this much, and we could not see he real deal we are missing that is why I totally think that the development of this technology or idea was great and a real contribution to the society even thought bank was mad about it.

I agree with you, the paper money will not disappear because if you are thinking about that then it is non sense. The only thing that will happen is the user of paper money will decrease because of the domination of bitcoin and soon we will see a well adopted bitcoin in a particular country or city.

i think in modern areas there  is no such issue that bitcoin is online currency, as in modern areas people are giving preference to online currency, there trend of using currency is now changing. they most use online service for buying and selling and are also using and giving preference to online shopping, i am hopeful that in backward areas very soon bitcoin will become too much popular.

i think in modern areas there  is no such issue that bitcoin is online currency, as in modern areas people are giving preference to online currency, there trend of using currency is now changing. they most use online service for buying and selling and are also using and giving preference to online shopping, i am hopeful that in backward areas very soon bitcoin will become too much popular.

I think we all hope for that to happen, i mean for bitcoin to become even more used all around the world. But i must agree with Seville, he is right when he says that bitcoin is too complicated to be used by average person. There are people who are not used to paying with there pay cards, or buying something online. They would be totally confused about way of using bitcoin XD .

Yes we can't compare these two currencies as they are different from each other. Bitcoin as digital money and cash is physical and cash. That's the beauty of bitcoin the value of it increases and while the cash is not increasing instead because of the inflation the value of it decreases. Where you are confident just use.

Exactly, bitcoin is not really perfect as everyone thinks, it is limited by too many things, especially the internet. Without internet, bitcoin would not exist, and certainly development was always prevented.

We should not think bitcoin is just like the ordinary money that it will do all what we expects because bitcoin is more like just an internet currency and also a tool to make more money via investment or trading money in different exchangers like yobit and poloniex and many more. We don't need to expect all from bitcoin because if we does then we will just get disappointed.

There are allot of issues as well, as cash doesn't function offline (actual hard cash), it's also impractical in large transactions. You can't handle except what you can carry. Indeed there are no fees after you get it, but every single fiat based payment require some form of fee.

Cash could easily be "damaged" (water, heat, mechanical). Not so long ago someone tried to pay at the local food shop with cash and they didn't accept it because it was a bit damaged.

* BTC technically can work for these too, and is being used, it's not mainstream in those fields but nothing prevent it.
* Um, CC and Banks take days to actually confirm something, unless you are only taking about cash.
* NO, this one is just unacceptable, CC are the main reason of financial fraud and that's everyone's knowledge, Bank accounts can be hacked too so it's actually the opposite, Cash and BTC have the 0 exchange risks.

I wish to add one thing, who is using cash this days? Who doesn't have few credit cards in wallet this days? Sooner of later cash will disappear, banks are working on their transactions, better terms, but in the end they will disappear too.
Future is in technology and transparency, and with bitcoin we have both. Bank is institution, who run it, where they get money from, what kind of fees they have? Interest rate for loans, for saving? Ask many questions and on most of them we can see that bitcoin is much better then convectional money.
