hy!
is there some info on how the candles are computed?

is it that just all trades during the timespan of the chart (1m, 3m ...) are accumulated to a candle?
so take all trades that happen during (x)m and put them in a candle (high, low, first, last)?

or is there some other rules?
thx

I think the standing order menu on ltc is broke. there is nothing .0238 in that list.

Cryptsy API is not stable. Sometimes the orderbook or trades is lag.

in the following charts:

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/mintpal/drkbtc
https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/cryptsy/drkbtc

The "depth" section (the green/red lines between the chart and the order list) are poorly scaled.  This is a very active market and there are typically orders of thousands of coins, but it only takes an order of ~350 coins to create a horizontal depth line, which makes it nearly impossible to gauge depth via this chart.  If you could re-scale it so that an order of ~3000 coins was enough to create a full horizontal line I think that would help tremendously.
You could adjust the "Depth Range" to 5% in SETTINGS.

Hey, BitcoinWisdom

Any chance you could add one or two more of the most common indicators? Chaikin Money Flow (a very useful volume based indicator) and RSI (as opposed to Stochastic RSI that you already have, but which can be a bit too "nervous" sometimes).

I know you try to keep your site fast and efficient, but those two seem worthy additions if you ever chose to add something to the set of indicators.

Not sure which Bitcoin wallet you should use? Get Electrum!
Electrum is an open-source lightweight client: fast, user friendly, and 100% secure.
Download the source or executables for Windows/OSX/Linux/Android from, and only from, the official Electrum homepage.

Hey BTW.

Is it possible to create a feature to combine several graphs at one chart timeline?

If it could be included for premium, I'd definitely will opt for it.

CMF and RSI is added.

Holy crap, you are fast  :o

Thanks!

(as before, I won't forget a tip)

EDIT: Can you maybe check the implementation of CMF? It gives slightly different results than for example bitcoincharts (example: April 30. Your site 0.099, btcharts: > 0.1), but more importantly, it seems to graph the values wrong at times (example: April 30 value is 0.009, but graphed higher than the May 1 value of 0.25)

The shape should be correct, but the value in the label is incorret, it is 1 day offset, 0.099 is April 29. now it is fixed.

CMF looks good now.

Not sure, but looks to me like RSI still has some problems:

Example: daily RSI.

You use 14 periods and close price, right?

April 10. Wisdom gives 24.18, tradingview 23.6.

On a few more data points it looks like your RSI is slightly higher than it should be.

Because Bitstamp doesn't provide full data. The data is base on the charts site extract speed. So it is different from site to site. For example, On May 6, Close in BitcoinWisdom is 428.01, and TradingView is 429.00, The volume in BitcoinWisdom is 8041, and TradingView is 5929, so BitcoinWisdom is more accurate.
The formula should be corrent, or it will not be only slight difference.

It is fast here, which market?

Updated xxx seconds means the new data received from server, If there is no new data it will keep increasing even though our server has queried the exchange several times.

Here is several factors affect the lag. The key is
1. Exchange's API speed.
2. Exchange is hot or not.
3. Net issue from our server to exchange.

The query speed for all exchanges is about 1.5 seconds in our system.
As our monitor, The site should be have worked without lag for several months.

I'm sorry. I have no idea how it happens too. It seems there is no other people report the issue.
If right-click cannot erase the lines, try use 'delete' under "TOOLS" menu.

+1

Thats also how goxtool calculates it: ∑(bid_price * bid_amount) / ∑(ask_amount)
And this has the dimension [quote_currency]/[base_currency] and can therefore directly be compared with current market price and even plotted into the same chart (or normalized with market price and plotted as an oscillator)

I guess those two sums are over buy and sell transactions respectively.
Since number of buys and number of sells are always the same. we have ∑(ask_amount) = ∑(bid_amount).
Then we see the formula is just the average price over the bid-initiated transactions i.e.  the average buy price.

It is not a network issue, it is performance lag. When I move the mouse over the chart the whole computer runs at like 2-3 fps only, and CPU usage spikes to 25% (using all of the available core). It worked fine two weeks ago, it suddenly became broken.
