But I have to admit that XRP has been working with a lot of Banks, which is a huge step forward, so I can't say it's a scam, but I wouldn't invest in XRP.
Its regulated and recognized by most governments and banks worldwide  Wink tell me that about another coin. If ripple fuks things up they cant dissappear!  Unlike all the anonymous shitcoin devs Wink

Yes, we haven't seen any regulated company just fuck there costumers, lol. Have you lived on planet earth?

This types of posts make me feel bad about people who stayed away from something due to "principles" and because of those decisions, are stuck in a rut when it come to price and profit. Yes, I'm thinking of you Ethereum Classic supporters. Most of you thought it was an abomination to have the blockchain rewound so everyone would get their Eth back. I still respect you for sticking to your principles. And maybe there will be people who never use Ripple or Dash because they believe it was a scam. I still respect them too.

Your sentence doesnt make much sense atleast for me but i am not big follower of XRP or ripple because already mined 80% and its not completely decentrelised its more or less than actual equity or bank shares where whales play game I don't like ripple from beginning.

Its worse than that, you're not even getting any share of ripple.

They have 80% of the coins

They sale at fixed price to banks, you can't get it at that price.

Banks cant sale the tokens on open market, its for use on the network only

If the price rise, its nice for ripple to sale some more token to naive people try to get rich

If prices crash, there is zero damage to ripple or banks as they have there token at a fixed price and network can keep be used. Just random people that have by the 20% get screwed en circle can be start over.

Short term investment? Sure why not! You can make a nice profit as there is enough idiots. Long term? Well get out right on time before you get screwed.

Buying ripple is even worse than usdt scam. Good luck!

After this realization I had to give up on Ripple completely, I sold my shares and am out of Ripple, I need a company that will go down with me and rise with me not one that rises no matter what while I fund them and I very likely may get screwed while they get successful. Open your eyes if you're investing in them.... you are investing in their XRP not Ripple as their employee quickly pointed out to me on twitter. Even regarding their block-chain technology big competitors are coming on the scene soon. The main point though is I need a company that will go down with me and rise with me not one that rises no matter what while I fund them and take all the risk. Why can a company I invest in be successful without me being successful as well, how is that even a possiblity!?! I'm out this is a complete scam and fraud it was obviously knowingly created that way.

DO NOT INVEST IN XRP

LOL - Regrets now?!?!

^ Yes, because the banks are interested in ponzi schemes.  I'm sure that would work out well for them.

Well, I don't think Ripple is a fraud. This case is due to the people saw their effectiveness of their project so it's obvious that they're gonna seat as the 2nd place in the Altcoin group next to Ethereum.
If you missed the chance of investing Ripple while you still have a chance and while the price is cheaper then you'll probably crying out that this coin is a fraud or a scam. You should do your own research before accusing some coin as a fraud.

You guys missed out the opportunity on investing Ripple while it's cheaper then you all have to accuse a coin that has nothing did wrong in your life. Come on guys, me matured and move on. If you can't get a long with the ride then don't talk shit because Ripple is now blowing and it's started to heat their engines for launch.
I invested Ripple while the price was 0.0023 last 3 months ago so I grabbed the opportunity while it's cheaper than today.
Whether I invested or not, I would never accuse any coin that has no intention but to offer opportunities and do their task in order to increase their market capital share.

I don't think their ire has anything to do with missing out.  They are part of the group that doesn't trust a centralized crypto.  They think, if it's centralized, it's a scam.

Yeah Man! you nailed it. I invested this fraud coin last 3 months ago while it was 0.0023, thousands of coin for a $300 and look at now! My $300 has turned into $6,000 after 3 months...
This fraud made me rich in just months or a single quarter
If you guys haven't invested in Ripple then why don't you try to invest on other coins that has low price then hold it until it will fold your investment up to 1,000%...

Exactly, I was thinking that they are going to accuse some coins because they missed out the opportunity while it was still cheap, I grabbed the opportunity and other didn't so how do they feel about it? They're envy and jealous because they couldn't believe that a coin in the pas year have no value and almost dying.
They started to talk shit over Ripple that is now unstoppable increasing their prices.

From what I can tell, a large majority of posters on this forum post based on emotion (love or hate) and irrational thinking.  Very few really know what they are talking about, and are too lazy to do their own research to educate themselves.

You are not sitting by bank and ripple together  on the tabel.... They are sitting on the table all alone and They wont lose one penny if xrp go down or go up.

Please explain what exactly are you buying when you buy it? Is it a share of ripple like ico? Is it a valuta like btc? Is it a gas for  network based contracts like eth? Is it a payments system for renting cloud space like sia coin?

WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU BUYING?

Its not an scam, it will work out perfectly for ripple and the banks and they don't gives a fuck if it goes up ir down.

Ok, one more time to be sure that there is no misunderstanding. You are buying something that you think is an ico or is an payment method. But you are actually buying air. Its not an scam but things can be 100% legaal and still you can get screwed. All the info is there and ripple is not telling any false information. But nobody read or understand it and just blindly look at the price graph.

On some levels you are right.  However, you can lose with any crypto.  All crypto is a risk.  For those willing to do their DD, it is a calculated risk.  In all cases, you are exchanging government issued currency for an intangible currency, one that may or may not have some intrinsic value.  Could XRP become valueless at some point?  Yes.  Could buying it still be worth it?  Yes.  Could BTC become valueless?  Yes.  Could buying it still be worth it for some?  Yes.

I totally agree with what you say, you cant just claim one currency is a scam and not do the same for the others. Maybe ripple is being pumped until a huge dumping phase but wouldnt that also be true for all other currencies.

I've been holding some XRP for many years now. Ripple is on fire right now!

This thread is pretty hilarious in my opinion. The amount of ignorance, false information and just plain stupidity coming from certain characters is pretty laughable.

They're like religious fanatics, not too different from ISIS, in that both are delusional morons.
