Surely gold is there and we can't forget about it but mining gold will destroy us all but mining bitcoin will make us all happy,
its hard to accept the reality but yes bitcoin is better now than gold

So Bitcoin is better than Gold?  Bitcoin is better only for short-term investments, this has already been discussed more than once. And gold has always been and will be a valuable asset even in the event of a collapse. I don't think that bitcoin is only profitable for short term investment because what can you say to the people who are holding their bitcoin for long term? Not profitable? Bitcoin is designed either short or long term and they are both profitable and it always depends on the price that you bought but if you want to be on a profitable and safe investment then long term is the best and i can say about gold is, it will just give you slow profit. There are many who make threads like this and there are many differences between them but I think bitcoin is long term, which I worry about when there is a dump of bitcoin holders will feel panic sell, it's not good for the short term because bitcoin will go back up although it takes time, you should know if you held bitcoin last year how much your profit you can even exceed 100%. Bitcoin can also make it in long term, I don't think bitcoin is just for short term, a long time ago bitcoin started and until now bitcoin is still here, and until now it increases its value. So I think we can trust bitcoin in a long run so it is better to invest today. Gold is also good, but bitcoin increases and I don't think I can have gold, because right now I don't know how to have a gold, unlike bitcoin I can earn it online. So I think Bitcoin is really better.  I think that too mate but i think also in the other side we can easily say that bitcoin is better than gold because of the current value of bitcoin but if you think for long term i will give my trust in gold. Gold exist for more decades or century and the investor is continuous getting profit on it. Yeah, gold has existed for so long, so many people believe it and sure to invest in gold in the long run will be a safe choice, however, profit from gold is not too high. This is the difference between gold and bitcoin, bitcoin can help us make a very good profit in the short term equal to the profit from gold in the long run. In addition, in the future bitcoin will be a potential market and attract a lot of investors, so I think about short term or in the long run, bitcoin is still better than gold although it has risks, but not too large |

So Bitcoin is better than Gold? I dont think so. Its still depends on the users. IF you are not a bitcoin users then you can say that gold is better than it especially when you are a gold holder. But if you are a bitcoin holder then you can proudly say that bitcoin is better than bitcoin. But i believe that they are equal and the same as long as it helps me I dont need to compare what is better between the two. |

So Bitcoin is better than Gold? In some sense yes. Gold and diamond are unfairly distributed. BTC can be fairly distributed. Only the price of Bitcoin based off the USD value is higher than the price of Gold. If the people that purchase Bitcoin see the price drop thousands of dollars per day there would be a bunch of people dumping their coins. If that same scenario happened to Gold then the people that are in Gold will try to purchase more Gold because Gold is much more convenient to use compared to Bitcoin. |

I don't think so. Gold has been used for centuries right now. But in terms of ease of use then we can say that bitcoin is far better than gold. Also in terms of acquiring bitcoin it is easier because only rich people can have gold and you cannot have gold unless you buy some. Unlike bitcoin you can have even a little of it. You can earn it.

Quote for reference. Nice compare between gold and bitcoin. There are several advantages that bitcoin has but gold doesn't and vice versa. Such as bitcoin transaction all over the world with (consider) small fees than what we have to pay if send gold, especially out of the country. Further, bitcoin value increase faster than gold, so this is a great investment object. People invest on gold because it has stable price and won't lose its value (like $300-$500) within a month, and divide your wealth on some commodity/objects is a good plan obviously. |

Of course it would be nice if investing in various commodities, but when looking at graph must be a bitcoin dominant as a good investment. And indeed bitcoin has opened up many good business opportunities if careful in exploiting the opportunities created by bitcoin due to rapidly different price fluctuations of bitcoins With gold having real price fluctuations slowing down.

Bitcoin are more better than gold because for a short term bitcoin now are 10x the price to gold. Investor now are wiser they want to get easy profit than to keep the longer time. Bitcoin are good to hold and to trade it in short time.

Nope, Gold is better than Gold. Gold is used by everyone adopted by everyone so actually it is better than Bitcoin. Also, Gold is used by people from the very first day of this world, It's being used by the people of earth since it came into being. Everyone knows Gold but there is a big number of people who still don't know what Bitcoin is so, it make it clears.
For all the users here who says Bitcoin is better I appreciate them for encouraging Bitcoin but the fact cannot be changed.

if we compare the price between gold and bitcoin, i think bitcoin have a chance to be the next expensive investment in the future but unfortunately right now, from total populations in the world, its still only small people which is using bitcoin and the others still believe with gold and using gold as investment. but if they know about bitcoin, i am sure that they will be move from gold into bitcoin and they will use bitcoin like us too.

Gold is a physical asset if the price drop the people will use it for other use. But the Bitcoin is not like that if the price drops then it is a big loss for investors. That is why the old people will not show interest on bitcoins. For gold, we see worldwide investors, and they will not think much about to invest in gold. But to invest on bitcoins, they take more time to reflect on this asset. |

In my own opinion bitcoin is not better than gold maybe they are the same in a unique way, and bitcoin is the new gold for the new era, just like the old days if you save gold you'll provably millionaire for just a few decade just like bitcoin also nowadays if you save, invest or trade for it you'll probably earn much money if you know the process. Bitcoin and gold may do not have the same price but they are really important in one country's economy.
