Bitcoin is definitely ahead of Gold. However, Gold is still a much stable entity, Bitcoin is highly volatile due to the sensitivity to its supply and demand.

Bitcoin is better than gold when it comes to holding your money at hand. What I mean is that gold is just good for investment since its value becomes high as time goes by but if you need money as soon as possible, bitcoin is much handy than gold. |

Bitcoin is better than gold when it comes to holding your money at hand. What I mean is that gold is just good for investment since its value becomes high as time goes by but if you need money as soon as possible, bitcoin is much handy than gold. To share my observations on the system of bitcoin economy today, I must recommend bitcoin as good investments rather than Gold. Not just by reasons of btc's easy handling and digital form of investments, but the long term investments in an anonymous way. The good price will not become stagnant and in the future time you will gain good earning with a better profit better than gold due to it's physical form and fears from theives is very high compared from Gold investments. |

I had earlier read an article somewhere where they say that if you had invested 10grand in bitcoin and gold simultaneously in 2010, the btc investment would be worth $200m today while your gold investment would be standing at $9900. It's therefore a no brainer as to which asset is more valuable.
In terms of investment, there is no doubt that bitcoin is the best investment because of its continuous rapid growth in all aspects like community and also in the price so if you have patience to wait at least 10 years then you can make a lot of money with bitcoin by just simply investing in bitcoin and keeping it on a safe place for a few years from now. I think we should not compare gold and bitcoin because with bitcoin, now its development time, bitcoin is becoming more popular, widely used, and so many people predict that keeping it for a few years will make us more profitable. However it is only predictions, the future is something unpredictable, so if we compare gold and bitcoin at the moment, maybe the bitcoin will be better but the future, no one would dare sure it would be the same. Talking about gold, its profitability and growth potential are not equal to bitcoin but it is very stable, 10 years later or 20 years later it would still stable |

What's good about that gold is not volatile? I think investors would prefer it was volatile but in the same time rising in price with time. You can pay no attention to the volatility of bitcoin. Just buy some, forget about it, and look what you have 5 years later. |

We cant compare gold to bitcoin since they are different since bitcoin is a virtual currency and gold is a mineral which means they differ on appearance at all but talking about the value i can say that bitcoin already surpasses golds value correct me if im wrong but talking about stability i can say that gold has an advantage compared to bitcoin but these two things would really be a good investment for longterm specially on gold.

Right now gold price has got surpassed by bitcoin, but the same continues or not creates a fear among the users who have been holding bitcoin. In.my personal opinion till now bitcoin price has increased regularly though it falls often. So bitcoin seems to be the best unlike any time limitations. |

It's already answered but i will give my point of view with this. As other said, Gold can't make a $1 change o price in just few minutes.
Especially today, bitcoin is rising rapidly because a lot of projects have been made that relates to bitcoin. Many countries also adopts on this currency. Imagine if the bitcoin will go to the $5,000 peak with this year. It will be a world changing.

Yes I agree, the thing that makes bitcoin better than gold is the profit level, if we bought gold a year ago and we sale now we will get profit not more than 5%, but if a year ago we bought bitcoin and we sell know then we will get profit more than 400%. |
