I don't know if this is reliable, but ICOs may be paying $1 million to $3 million to get listed on an exchange!! Crypto Exchange Listing Fees"We’ve done some sleuthing on the crypto rumor mill, from Telegram groups to whispered numbers between entrepreneurs. It sounds like the market price to list a crypto token on an exchange is $1 million for a reasonably regarded token, to $3 million for an opportunity to get quick liquidity. We don’t know these numbers with certainty, but suspect the order of magnitude to be roughly in line with today’s reality." https://next.autonomous.com/thoughts/crypto-exchange-listing-fees

I hope we aren't just stuck on Crytopia. I like them but they seem to be having their own issues. With other tokens not being able to transfer in a timely manner and such. Sometimes needing multiple work tickets to fix transfer problems. Hopefully new exchanges are in the works is all I'm saying in order for DNotes to take off. I know we have just got the train rolling so patience is key i'm just mentioning that Cryptopia is good but not great. IMO.

I agree with what you're saying, DNotes has a pressing need to get on some good exchanges. The key is finding the right ones that are guaranteed to be around for many years to come, and have a low likelihood of corruption. I've lost too many DNotes on corrupt exchanges to trust putting anything more than a small amount on any exchange, and until such time as DNotes launches it's own exchange, this habit likely won't change. Any cryptocurrency or token exchange that charges 1-3 million dollars for listing in this stage of the industry's development, might as well be guilty of extortion. A good project for some DNotes community members to undertake would be researching the various exchanges to find those with reasonable listing fees and a good reputation.

Asking the people to spread the word is like me asking people to pull together some kids to play a pick up basketball game. This has been planned for a long time and when they let the cat out of the bag its going to be HUGE. I was just saying that Cryptopia is not on any one of the big coins top exchanges and they have issue as well. The coins that are in the top 25, Cryptopia is listed as number 30 and below on their market lists. I'm not complaining by any means just having a healthy conversation. Tossing around ideas.

Ultimately we have to give them no choice but to list DNotes. The ICO market has put a damper on the industry overall, exchanges are more cautious, and lots of money is being thrown around. What our community can do to help is support on social media, support us in the real world, and reach out to the exchanges you would like to see DNotes listed on and request it.

What our community can do to help is support on social media, support us in the real world, and reach out to the exchanges you would like to see DNotes listed on and request it. The article only mentions the cost of listing ICO tokens, and I am guessing that isn't happening in the US. Speaking of exchanges, Bittrex should take a good look at DNotes 2.0 - we appear to be exactly what they are looking for. I'm assuming when they say token they mean cryptocurrencies as well, because this was the only information on getting anything listed. There is a compliance review that DNotes would pass with flying colors, and new characteristics/features they look for before listing - DNotes 2.0. Regulated exchanges (U.S., Canada,...?) are very limited in what they can list now, and may be looking for some very reputable coins. Bittrex Support Team January 31, 2018 12:41 To help drive innovation in the blockchain industry, Bittrex is committed to supporting both new and established blockchains. Bittrex seeks to provide its users with an ever-growing selection of blockchain technologies and digital tokens... ...In addition to the compliance review, Bittrex reviews several items when determining whether to list a token, including but not limited to whether it is an innovative and/or new Blockchain or has an innovative use case or application. As part of its review, Bittrex takes into consideration a number of factors including but not limited to: - New blockchain features - Significant improvement over existing blockchain - Interesting, innovative, or unique application - Usefulness of use cases - Technological experience and reputation of token applicant and team - Market interest Bittrex does not currently charge a fee for listing a token on our Exchange. We believe in promoting the blockchain industry, and we have spent, and will continue to invest, significant resources to review tokens for listing on our Exchange. Please do not believe any consultant, advisor, or individual that tells you that they can get your token listed on the Bittrex Exchange for a fee. The decision to list a token is made by a committee of Bittrex employees after a rigorous review. https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000475411-How-do-I-submit-a-token-to-Bittrex-for-listing-

If someone feels like doing a project that will benefit the currency, and it's a good opportunity for them to develop skills/gain knowledge in the process, why shouldn't they be allowed to help out? Just as they should be able to invest and forget about it, if they want to. But those who got hands on and chipped in will have bragging rights, they'll be able to say, "I was there and I got shit done". It might even be a good launching pad for their own personal ventures. Cryptopia withdwawal times can be pretty ridiculous during high volume times, which leads me to believe that they wouldn't be able to scale very easily.

Amazon doesn't ask their employees to advertise for them. hahahaha I know I'm reaching on that example. Maybe they did during their early years. I need to update this introduction on one of the forums. It can be shorter if possible, but what I'm looking for is what are the absolute most important things we can say about DNotes that will get the readers attention? The last two paragraphs are great, unless there is something that needs updating. In other words, how do I breathe a little life into the first two paragraphs in as few words as possible? Switch to proof of stake (POS), and..........? DNotes is a blockchain-powered digital currency and payment system. Launched in February 2014, DNotes has spent the last four years avoiding the industry hype, and focusing instead on strategically building an integrated ecosystem that will allow for rapid scaling as a global digital currency, and act as a bridge between decentralized digital currency and the centralized world of finance and commerce. DNotes has differentiated itself from the competition - it is not just another cryptocurrency that targets a niche market or provides only a single service or blockchain solution, but an entire ecosystem that works in synergy to meet the needs of everyone globally.
The upgraded DNotes 2.0 will see a programming language change from the industry standard of using multiple sources, to a more cohesive business friendly C#. This will give us a competitive edge in smart-contract and blockchain application development, because our code base will be cleaner and made up of less patchwork. The upgraded currency, with a 2% - 4% Proof of Stake interest payment, can be used globally by anyone or any sized business - as a supplement to fiat currency, as an investment with no barrier to entry, as a lifeline to those that have no banking access, as an instant and virtually fee-less form of monetary remittance to other countries, as inflation protection against a failing fiat currency, and as a way to avoid currency exchange fees, bank fees, credit card fees, etc...
The DNotes 2.0 blockchain upgrade will provide for business blockchain development, tokenization, smart contracts, and innovative turnkey solutions. Planned for 2018 is Next Gen VC, a division of DNotes Global, which will help take select companies to the next level by offering: crowdfunding, issuance of digital asset tokens, a full array of consulting services including many innovative blockchain applications and smart contracts, as well as other cutting edge technologies using the DNotes blockchain.
DNotes Global Inc has been created to hold all of DNotes properties, and will provide intrinsic value to the currency as the value of the company rises. Every DNotes holder will have a stake in this company as the currency will own up to 25% of the company. Future plans for the company include an exchange, bank, global payment network, multi-currency cards, bank partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and much more. A full array of frictionless financial services will enable account holders to save, store, spend, convert, and transfer DNotes as easily as any fiat currency.

We don’t know these numbers with certainty, but suspect the order of magnitude to be roughly in line with today’s reality." https://next.autonomous.com/thoughts/crypto-exchange-listing-feesHow does this work against DNotes listing on big exchanges in the near future? I'm sure after 4 years they have already done that work also. Along with the plan of advertising and which markets they are going to hit. DNotes Global has a solid plan https://dnotesglobal.com/white-paper/, but this industry is notorious for unforeseen variables arising, so adaptability and awareness are key. I think that it's important in maintaining the decentralized spirit of the DNotes cryptocurrency, and the ability for our community to participate is vital to that. I should have started with saying that there are other tokens i am not going to mention that have asked their people to advertise for them and do all the research for exchanges. (it is so tempting to say the name). That is small time, and even if they get the credit they get left behind when it takes off. Yes they learned along the way but no reward for their hard work. Amazon doesn't ask their employees to advertise for them. hahahaha I know I'm reaching on that example. Maybe they did during their early years. I guess if there are people with special skills willing to work for free while the rich get richer then go for it. I'm sure DNotes did the research along the 4 year road is all I'm saying. They also know that Cryptopia is not the way to the top. By this logic I should shut down https://dnotesedu.com lol. LOL, sorry for putting my thought in writing. I didn't mean to start anything. I was just thinking out loud. Time for me to let the experts do their thing and stay out of the way. The Chezzz, since the launch of DNotes, over 4 years ago now, DNotes has been a shared stake concept. That is in the first post I ever, we ever, wrote. We feel that money and the system we are building should benefit everyone who participates in the network and that is how designed DNotes from before the launch of DNotes. We are doing this for everyone and we are all in, with everything we have. It is unfortunate, that some would take advantage of your effort solely for their own gains. However, I can assure you that is not the culture of our community. We do want everyone to participate and we have been more than generous with those that have helped to propel DNotes forward. You are correct in that we are not going to rely solely on the effort of the community, and wish that the community can get us listed, but we do need the support and participation of the community.

DNotes 2.0 ReleaseNew Features for DNotes 2.0 Switch from Proof Of Work to Proof Of Stake with ~2% annual staking reward. Updated transaction fees to be destroyed. Added display of DNotes and Wallet value in USD (based on coinmarketcap's API). Added DNotes news feeds. Added invoice number support for sending NOTE to an address. The format to specify an invoice number when sending to an address is (address)+(invoice number). Added CRISP payouts for keeping NOTE Balance in the same address for a period of time. CRISP payouts happen approximately every month for balances that have remained at the same address. If you are upgrading from the DNotes 2.0 Pre-Release AlphaThe DNotes 2.0 Pre-Release alpha blockchain is NOT compatible with the DNotes 2.0 Release. You will need to clear out all files in the %appdata%\DNotes2 folder of your windows computer before starting dnotes-qt.exe. https://github.com/DNotesCoin/DNotes2.0/releases/tag/v2.0.0.0 The DNotesVault is Now Temporarily Closed for the DNotes 2.0 Swap The official DNotes 2.0 public launch will be tomorrow, with no foreseeable delays. We have been running the main network for a few days to ensure there are no issues. Your patience is appreciated as we will be diligently working on the launch and swap to DNotes 2.0. I can't believe all of this started with me saying that Cryptopia has some struggles and that new and bigger markets (exchanges) will be needed to push us over the edge. All of the exchanges have their quirks but Cryptopia is on the low end of the totem pole when big money coins are involved. And trust me when I say that DNotes is a BIG money coin in the making. I said it long ago in this forum that DNotes was my only coin and that still holds true. I believe in you guys and was only giving my opinion. My efforts were taken advantage of elsewhere in the sales world. Don't let me waste anymore of your time talking about this. There are bigger things that need to be handled. Good luck!!!!!

This isn't shorter (no surprise, coming from me), but there may be one or two ideas that you can use. In my real-world, offline discussions with people I meet, they seem most interested in the 'big picture' vision that makes DNotes so different from most other digital currencies (or all of them, if we're being brutally honest). Anyway, here's my five-minute quick offering: ************* DNotes is a blockchain-powered digital currency and payment system that was first launched in February 2014. From the beginning, though, it was always a digital currency with a different sort of vision. While others in the cryptocurrency space have focused on niche markets and highly-targeted use cases, DNotes has been singularly focused on one overriding goal: to become a truly global supplemental digital currency that can offer increased financial inclusion and empowerment to everyone around the world. Part of that vision involves a recognition that mass acceptance and adoption are unlikely to occur by accident – but without that acceptance and adoption, the true promise of digital currency can never be realized. That’s why the DNotes team has committed to a proactive approach to facilitating awareness, acceptance, and adoption. It is also why DNotes has developed an entire ecosystem designed to serve as a bridge between the existing worlds of finance and commerce and the new world of decentralized digital currency. DNotes Global, Inc. was created to develop, strengthen, and nurture that ecosystem, providing proactive leadership to facilitate awareness, acceptance, and adoption. Together, the company and the ecosystem drive DNotes toward its goals, offering leadership without centralized control. At the same time, DNotes Global’s status as a profit-generating company is designed to drive the currency’s value, with the currency’s 25% of the company providing DNotes with tangible, intrinsic value. With the launch of DNotes 2.0, the company is accelerating its efforts to achieve digital currency’s true promise of a world in which everyone can enjoy true financial inclusion and empowerment. A world where everyone can be his or her own bank. A world where people of all walks of life can gain access to the business capital, resources, and financial services they need to truly fulfill their human potential. The decentralized, people-empowering digital world of tomorrow may seem like a distant dream, but DNotes is committed to making it a reality – and with it, all the promised benefits that digital currency can offer to ordinary people everywhere.

Allow me to share my take and move on. DNotes is one of the most fair and respectful communities in our industry. It is not unreasonable for me the add that our core team has been practically selfless. No one has to do anything, yet what we have accomplished is immense. That is what drives me. I am very proud to be a part of this team. Without them we would be just one among 5,000 + coins with a wish to get rich soon. But then, you should be your own judge whether DNotes is right for you.
On the lighter note, I am happy to confirm that DNotes 2.0 lunch is a success, with no major issues reported. A big thank you to our core team working alongside with our partner Geneca. We did it and positioned to do a lot more in the years ahead.
From the outside, this is a “quite period” for us until April 16, 2018 when the soft deadline kicks in – when the old DNotes will not be minable in exchange for DNotes 2.0.
If you have not done so, we encourage you to make arrangement to swap your old DNotes for DNotes 2.0 and start earning CRISP reward for balance held in your account every thirty days. You can still swap your DNotes after the soft deadline beyond April 16, 2018. The verification process will be significantly more complex and will take a lot longer. On October 1, 2018, 75% of any unclaimed DNotes will be used as part of the guarantee funds held in DNotesVault. We will continue to process and verify requests for coin swap until further notice. Rest assured that getting DNotes listed on other exchanges is now one of our highest priorities. I am personally working on it with the full support of our team. From my vantage point, the future is looking very bright for DNotes. This is our turn to shine. It pays to be patience over the long term.
