please read up on how blockchains function.
Maybe you should try just reading the debug.log. received block ERROR: CheckProofOfWork() : hash doesn't match nBits ERROR: CheckBlock() : proof of work failed ERROR: ProcessBlock() : CheckBlock FAILED
if your seeing this in your log. that means someone found a block on the 'other chain', but is connected to your node..

if your seeing this in your log. that means someone found a block on the 'other chain', but is connected to your node.. This is a block from the other chain and your wallet can't proof it because there exsits different PoW algo's. The Problem is that the "switch" realized with a timestamp and not (as usual) with a block number. A if/else in the section in the new version would have solved this issue because is the block before a block number XY use algo 1 and the block mined after a block number XY use algo 2 etc. Now we had the situation that the new version can proof the new blocks BUT if the new version start again and validated the old blocks it use the new algo and not the old (valid for this blocks) algo. correct me if I'm wrong

guess I should have been more clear, Can someone please post a link to a windows GPU miner that YOU are using to mine at the current cachecoin pool. and also, if you dont mind, the config settings. I am getting HW errors from my miner, even at low settings. JIm

wow, found this project a few hours ago. very nice work. i will give it a try. its not easy to find a thing like this here between hundreds of trash projects. communication and transparency are the morst important things in cryptoworld for me. nice to see the devs always close to the community.

I just noticed that the network is creating blocks about every 2 minutes... shouldn't it be every 15 minutes??
INFO
Scrypt-Jane coin No ASIC miners Proof-of-Work (CachePOW) and Proof-of-Stake Mining Block Reward: Inversely proportional to the difficulty Difficulty adjustment every block Difficulty Adjustment algorithm: Logarithmic Target of 15 minute block generation Maximum of ~10 Million coins supply (modified in May 2017) Block Maturity: 520 Confirms Transaction Maturity: 6 Confirmations Coin age to Stake: 7 Days RPCPort: 2224 Network Port: 2225

24 hour * 60 min / 15 per block = 96 block per day. No matter how much time is spent searching for a block. The network will not give you more than 96 blocks a day.

Any news about new mining algo implementation?
To avoid any troubles with the net - we decided to implement the new POW algo together with new wallet (Java code)!
