As I stated in my other posts, bitcoin has a great future but the destiny will be shaped by the community and the whales. Bitcoin won't build up its future itself.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

There are people who are doing that, by just hearing an explanation from their friends who recently earned from something. They are immediately trusting and investing there so that means they are hungry for the profit. But well majority of us who are investing in bitcoin does really do some background checking before investing.
but to me i have introduce bitcoin to my friends even to  my family and in very beginning they were not trusting me, but later one when they realize that i am earning some profit from bitcoin then they start taking interested in it and after study bitcoin a lot  some of my friends invested money here. still some of my friend are not too much confident and reluctant about investing money in bitcoin. but i am hopeful that very soon they will become confident and will start investing money here.

It's everyone's experience here, even we know that bitcoin has a future and we are gratefully explaining it to our relatives, still that is not enough at all. I've been through to that feeling that they are trying to pull me down but still I believe in bitcoin and push with my belief that bitcoin has a secure and great future.

Everyone does that since they have certain bad agenda wheter they want to make you discourage and stop staking with it, And alsop there are other's who are just Spreading some fuds just to create little confusion to make a little panic to the crowd so that they can earn from their own greed. And we shouldn't listen in this kind of things since as we can see bitcoins  have great adoption and it can make bitcoins gain some great future on its succeeding days.

I don't think they have bad agenda but they are not just interested to bitcoin and they lack of research so they don't have an idea on what bitcoin really is. And for those people who are spreading fud they are totally doing a trick so weak handlers are going to sell some bitcoins and that can make the price low.
But now people have become mature and now they are not giving importance to such bad  and wrong news and prediction,  they even in panic like situation never try to sell their bitcoin and through this way they give support to bitcoin, and every after a little correction the bitcoin price start increasing again. Hope we are not going to see any serious dump in future.
Despite all the negative forecasts for Bitcoin, we've been watching Bitcoin's good jumps and its prices all my life. I think that he has the potential and the future of bitcoin will be very unordinary. First of all, I doubt the correctness of the decisions about the legalization of Bitcoin in different countries.

Yeah! But do we really need that legalization? Is it somehow prohibited right now? Europe, Asia, Russia, North and South Americas, Australia, Africa - in every country you can legally use bitcoin without any permissions. Of what "legalization" are you talking about?

Bitcoin and other cryptos have and IS the future. As others have already cited, the big players who are closing down doesnt indicate the end of bitcoin but the end of scammers. Besides that, onljne jobs are upgrading by paying bitcoin instead of fiat money since its easier given the condition that internet workers are working cross-country, having this said, companies (ex.bpo's) might consider using bitcoin as salary in the future.  So the future of bitcoin is bright.

Well bitcoin as a salary? That might be a great idea. Well it would be implemented soon if all of the people know bitcoin and able to adopt it in their daily life. So it is possible. Bitcoin has a high potential in the future so there will be a big future of bitcoin in the near future. We could see now that the price is getting higher and higher because of the demand of the bitcoin now is really high

To receive salary in bitcoins is bit risky as the price of bitcoin is not stable and keeps on moving up and down so if you receive your salary in bitcoins and if price goes down then you will affect your income very badly and your income will never be stable and will depend on the price of bitcoins as sometimes it will be higher and sometimes it will be below your expectation so getting salary in bitcoins is only good if the price of bitcoin becomes stable which is difficult to assume.
yes that is right that the price of bitcoin is still not so much stable, some time it hit 3000$ while some other time it  back to 2100$. so it is really risky. and i do not think that anyone will be ready to receive salary in bitcoin.

Bitcoin will have a good future when there are less whales because they normally hold bitcoin and manipulate the market, we need more volume of users that will eventually tell the correct price not what we are seeing now that it will pump and dump anytime.

I agree, having less whales which can dictate the ebb and flow of the stock market can benefit traders as there would be freedom and more flexibility in the prices of bitcoin. Furthermore having more users would generate more bitcoin which also results to more profits and not just a scam for some people.

Why would you ask if bitcoin have a future? Don't you believe it has a future? I myself believe it is the future, imagine before it was almost worth nothing but look at its value now. I bet Satoshi Nakamoto wouldn't believe it too it has reached almost $3000. So to answer your question, my answer would be Yes without a doubt it has a future.

It has future if we believe in bitcoin but maybe satoshi nakamoto did not expect that his creation had reach almost $3000 dollars. I myself believe in bitcoin too and it will go at $5000 or $10000. We need to have faith on this.

I think that the question of whether Bitcoin has a future does not make sense, because there would not be such a demand in the market. We really see What is the current price for Bitcoin and according to forecasts of users and experts, we already have much more of yours several times. Therefore, the future will be really very bright.

I think thats why Segwit options take over, it can be the price controller of bitcoin. How can we enjoy bitcoins high value if fee's are very high too. With the bitcoins very high fees its becoming abnormal in movement and I think they came up with that Segwit Solution cause it might be the key to control bitcoin abnormalities.

I do not know who will want to control Bitcoin, because it is the legalization of bitcoin that can lead to such consequences. But we must understand that legalization is a complete and total control over users and their incomes. I do not think that anyone would agree to this.

I can not understand how you can control bitcoin? The system is built in such a way that it is anonymous. Even if you are forced to verify one purse, you can open a few more and use them completely anonymously and freely

It's important to note that SegWit isn't a solution at all, it just enhances Bitcoin. Another thing is that you shouldn't forget about the fact that the more block halvings we go through, the more miners will depend on income through fees. It's impossible to completely avoid higher fees as POW, and especially where we stand today, requires quite some resources, and these obviously don't come for free -- one way or another, higher fees are imminent.

It has a future you all are just spoiling it. Let's talk about signature campaigns the rates have surely been reduced but you are not getting the fact that bitcoin price has increased a lot. The companies who advertise get bitcoin from fiat so let's say last year they were paying 0.035 btc for a hero member when price was 1000$ so we would get 40$ on an average. Now the price is 2700$ so if they pay 0.035 they are almost spending 3 times the money which is almost 100$ so why would companies still pay 100$ when others advertised at 40$. Try applying some sense.
Yes you are right this is something we really need to appreciate and we need to know that the companies working on the signature campaigns or running the signature campaigns are spending more than the past and same is the case that the people who works for the signature campaign earns more than they were earning in the past.
Having signature is sign of successful in earning. After signature you can give all the task to other to sol even you can be a boss of them you will pay to them to sol and they will work for you.To have signature you can easily getting more incomes.

I guess we do need that legalization. As that is going to help the market of bitcoin to be trusted by other people. And possible the legalization of usage is what he meant about that term. There are countries before that banned bitcoin and in that case, it is not going to help them in any way because bitcoin has a great future.

Absolutely yes, bitcoin have a future however we don't know if it is good or not. Bitcoin has a long way to run and many thing could happen such as challages that should surpass but inoreder to attain that we must support and accompany for its success. Bitcoin has a bright future that could help to enhance the economy of one's country. As we experience the bitcoin's price is getting bigger and bigger and I think this is one of the sign to reach its future.

BIG WINNER!

I just read on Btcjam blog that they are closing down: https://blog.btcjam.com/2017/05/25/btcjam-is-closing/, now I am just wondering if big players in thebitcoin industry are closing down, is there any future for bitcoin really.

I came to know about bitcoin through btcjam when i was introduced there to borrow. Eve in this forum, looks most signature campaigns might close down because of the ever rising price of bitcoin. Most of them have reduced their payout amounts for posting by more than 50%. Is this a good sign or a bad sign for the bitcoin development?
Yes bitcoin has a future.I know that bitcoin someday will be successful and bitcoin will be used by many and if luckily it will be used by all people And i know that someday bitcoin will be one of the money currency.

yes no doubt that bitcoin has a bright future, and the interest of the people are making it more more bright and secure. the community of bitcoin is increasing from time to time which is increase the demand of bitcoin and so the supply decreasing and we can see that the price of bitcoin is increase too much. hope that the increasing trend of bitcoin will continue for a long time.
