The spreadsheet has multiple people with vanity addresses, and basic non-segwit addresses. If the campaign manager added them, it means his rule isn't enforced. This campaign started before SegWit even existed. Rules change for new participants.

In my opinion, it would be most beneficial to take the suggestions, learn from the mistakes and give it another try once you've made the necessary adjustments. The rule is that new participants must apply with a Segwit address, which part of that rule hasn't been enforced?

Yes, I made a mistake and I didn't follow a rule written by the OP. In the end he is the one allowing and denying entry to his campaign. If I was going to be allowed and he tells me to provide a segwit address, I would have to oblige. It adds nothing to keep commenting on it.

Literally your last post, an hour ago, was saying that the campaign manager isn't enforcing their own rules. You are incorrect, so I provided an explanation and offered you to clarify your position, in case there was something you knew that I didn't.

I do think everyone should have to use a segwit address at sone point (is it long enough yet darkstar)? They don’t have to use ones like bech32 immediately but segwit addresses with a 3 might be nice...

I'm proudly saying this that we at Chipmixer are completely different people, we're all family here. Unlike other campaigns and campaign managers, we really like to involve in a matter we feel that needs some explanation - be it coming from the campaign manager or us (the participants). As well, as clearly as I (and everybody here) can see, bill didn't really argue with you but tried to help you in your case where you were arguing about non-segwit and vanity addresses. It's really your choice to decide with what attitude you take it, whether you take it as a suggestion or an argument - clearly a case of either misunderstanding or ego hurt. You're not literally enforced by someone to use SegWit here, but as everyone knows, SegWit is really helpful in saving fees and so it is being asked here - it's not for the self-interest of campaign manager but for the participants' convenience.

I somehow missed your reply. I created a segwit address to try and re-apply for this campaign if you/Darkstar are interested in inviting me: Username: KingZee Post Count: 458 BTC Address : bc1qzxk45zxu7d9c4jdel0qkc0y4qp4j2wflh2w2lj

Wow, i just found out about the ChipMixer campaign and i have spent some time reading the post here in the thread. You try to help the new participants and you communicate with each other in a friendly way! This is something that you can not find often these times in a forum. I would really like to join the campaign cause i do really like the way its participants wear the signature with proud and of course the payment is very good aswell! Please let me know when a slot will be open

I keep watching this signature campaign from some time but is always full. Tried to apply via PM some time ago but I am not a very trusted member of the community and my application was rejected.
I have a few questions and if anybody can answer, I will be grateful.
Shall I apply once again in this thread and wait for approval? Is there a waiting queue? If there is a free slot how the new particpant is determined?

Once in a while this campaign opens up and people apply for a spot. I believe it's the best moment to try your luck. If you don't get in, wait for another recruitment to start. There's no queue. Personally, I tend not to bother managers if the recruitment is not open.

There are a lot of people vying for a slot in the campaign, so it's tough to get a spot.
Considering you had previously applied and didn't qualify for a spot as an exceptional candidate, there is no sense in applying again at the moment.
Keep an eye on the thread, its updated weekly on fridays/Saturdays from what I've seen if there is an open slot it will appear in the title.
That's when you should apply, and be sure to follow the application specifications.

You are not alone. This is the campaign that best paid and it is one of the longest campaigns in the forum, so many people are always waiting for a vacancy. Payment is distributed between Friday and Saturday. When someone is removed from the campaign, DarkStar_ changes the title to open at the time of payment. Only people who sign up after his post announcing that they have vacancies are considered for the spot. The process usually lasts 2 to 3 days. The only chance of being accepted other than when it opens, is for the special spot. But this spot is reserved for extraordinary members, who are very respected and well known in the forum. Sending a PM to DarkStar_ does not improve your chances. In fact, it may even make your future opportunities worse. I signed up, the last time it opened. But I was not considered on the second list/phase.

The best way probably is to check on Sunday. Payments (and removals) are generally done at the same time, which is some time on Saturday. I generally keep applications open until Monday or Tuesday. There's no waiting queue. My selection criteria is based on a few things: - Whether your posts will actually be read/seen - Post quality - Trust/recognition - Sections you post in Sending a PM to DarkStar_ does not improve your chances. In fact, it may even make your future opportunities worse. I signed up, the last time it opened. But I was not considered on the second list/phase. Not being on my "second phase list" doesn't mean your post quality is bad. It's just that there's such a large number of people who have good quality that I have to be more picky in an attempt to narrow it down.

Would love to be a part of this campaign if/when there are any free spots available.
Would love to work with yourselves OneHash.
Damn, every single campaign is full at the moment You're trying too hard dude. Posting in one full signature thread after another won't get you in.
