I play poker at a local casino here in the US.  A lot of the people I play with used to play online.  When we play I bring up I still play, and I get cash in and off the site withon a day, without the headaches of battling with credit cards and banks.  It is a nightmare in the US to move money on poker sites nowadays, unless you are using bitcoin.

This gets most of them interested, as they all want to still play online.  From there, I help them and describe a little about bitcoin.  I have helped more than a few get set up right as we are playing a tournament.

Regularly posting news about bitcoin in facebook wall so that all my friends can see about bitcoin. If they get interested, they can ask me anything about it, and I'll answer them to the best of my abilities.

I do the same thing with a few word and a simple question..... " Do you accept Bitcoin? " ..... and if they say NO, I counter with " Why not? "

This is normally the catalyst for a discussion and a way to break the ice and to get my foot in the door. I have small cards with links to resources,

if they want to investigate further. One of my local payment processors also use Bitcoin, and if someone showed interest to accept Bitcoin, I drop

them a email with their details. They usually take it further from there....  Grin

Personally, if I'm in a coffee shop or any store with some people, I pull out my wallet and subtly show them my Xapo debit card. Then they get curious on what kind of card is that since it doesnt look like the usual Mastercard or creditcard. Then I explain it from there on.

What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? Smiley

My way of spreading bitcoins is simple, I just show to my family and office mates my income from bitcoin. They have started to be curious as to what is bitcoin and how they will earn. As I always update them with the value of bitcoin they become interested and started to buy more coins. But sometimes there are disadvantages in sharing bitcoins to others and that is when you join an investment they will borrow some of your bitcoins but when it turns out to be a scam they will just turn a blind eye on you.
i also start introducing bitcoin from my family, first when i heard about bitcoin i do not think that any other person was familiar with it, because i bring the idea from our capital when i visited there and by chance met a person in University, i stay there for 1 week and during this period he became  my friend and he share the idea of bitcoin with me, because at that time i was jobless. now i am spreading the new about bitcoin in my area, and people are now taking interest in bitcoin.
Same with me too.Bitcoin starts with my family and it spreads out in my working place. They noticed me always that i was really into this online job even for my two-hour break. They started asking and so i did tell them about bitcoin. And now they're starting already to research more on bitcoin.

Tell people when I got into Bitcoin what Bitcoin is and then the price today versus the price back in the day, enough said the money does the rest and people want to look at it more.

First, i will tell the present price of bitcoin, and after that, i will show my mobile wallet balance to them. After that, they only ask me how did you go this bitcoin and how to make bitcoins. Like this, i am spreading my bitcoin knowledge to my friends and family members. But I am not telling more to my family members because if they get to know that bitcoin will more use in online gambling site, it will be a big problem for me.

If you're with the right kind of people, it could be as simple as just moving the conversation towards the topic of Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general.
It's definitely something interesting to talk about if you have friends that are interested in technology or finance.

I just wouldn't brag too much about how much you've made.

Bragging about how much you've made could even be a good way to get someone's interest, but it sure wouldn't make you look good at their eyes.. it's always better to just talk about the subject in general and maybe give few hints on good ways to profit through it
At least, that's what I do

Just as you say by hanging out somewhere in a relax discussion and drinking coffee and then giving directions about the basic meaning of bitcoin so that friends understand it, If everything already knows about the basic meaning of bitcoin then we are talking about how to get bitcoin.
After all know how to get bitcoin then I show bitcoin wallet that I use to my friends so that they can better understand how to withdraw fund from bitcoin to real currency.
After everything has been done and can be understood by my friends then I prove from my bitcoin revenue results by paying coffee drunk by my friends.
With that they can be sure about digital money can be made into real money. Grin

Yap most of my friends also are hard workers and mostly in my fb posts are pictures of facing the laptop or having a drink. They sensed that i am working on the internet and they though it was a online tutor. I just said no always to there questions. Then one commented something like how are you having so much relax time seating if food chains? How much do you earn? That for me is the most satisfying way to let them really acknowledge btc as to you can work on your own time and no hassles unless offcourse you still are not aware in btc deals.

Since the price of Bitcoin is fluctuating to often frequently in class I open up my Bitcoin Wallet in order to check the current exchange rate of Bitcoin to US dollar which my seatmates notice and ask if it is Bitcoin. And I said yes, and if I found out that they are interested are try to explain it as simple as it can get. Well that is my simple way of not only showing my Bitcoins but also sharing my knowledge about Bitcoin.

It's very simple! Be a living testimony! Show the people around you what bitcoin is by frequently using it. For sure, they will get curious and will start bombarding you with questions on what is it, how did you able to use it, is it even real or possible, or any questions like that.

Action speaks louder than words. If you want a person close to you to know about bitcoin, then don't just explain it's definition and principles, add some demonstrations and let them witness how you can able to use it.

You know, people nowadays won't spend their time on such things like bitcoin if they don't benefit from it. So that's the best way to do.

I didn't have very good experiences trying to "spread" Bitcoin knowledge. One guy who worked in banking started asking me all sorts of technical questions and after admitting I didn't know, he happily said I was proof people who used Bitcoin know nothing about real money workings.

I try not to bring it up if no one is talking about it:)

My way of spreading my bitcoin knowledge is using my social medias. Examples of that are facebook, twitter and instagram. I also make personal messages to my friends and I encourage them to use bitcoin too. Most of the time i share my bitcoin experiences to my friend during our chika time . And i encourage them to do the same for them to make and use their money wisely.

For me it is partly academic. With what I write for school and what I share in class, I try my best to educate my colleagues on what it is and what it can do. Well, I haven't made a convert yet but I'll get there. At least I am spreading awareness and it could spark up some interest in them when they do see some news about bitcoins or read them somewhere online.

I am trying to use bitcoin in many way in the real life in order to spread bitcoin in the physical world but it is hard because my country does not accept bitcoin and there is only a few coffe shops

And that is only Starbucks.  Grin
Having a country which is not suited for this kind of online currency is really a problem into how we can spread the news.
They tend to neglect specially when the term "investment" popped up.
Simply changing that introduction will really help into making it more inviting.

For me I ask them if they want to get some extra income, or want to invest real time, then explain them how it works, I usually rent a computer so there are some getting curious about the functions, but I think Im just wasting my time explaining, since after they see how complicated things in here they already gave up without even trying.

After than i explain to them what is bitcoin and how it works, but if they know what is bitcoin than conversation is going forward Cheesy . I suggest bitcoin to people who ask me how to make some money too.
