Right now they are so desperate that they will use almost anything for survival. The ISIS has been ousted from almost all the major cities, and they have been confined to some of the desert areas within Syria.

I am sure ISIS and other torrorist organisations use Bitcoin along with many others. They sell oil too, after seizing ports and oil fields. They deal drugs ad people smuggle too. If its bad and illegal, ISIS do it all. How can they buy all those 4x4 TOyotas

Bitcoin is pseudonymous, not anonymous, so it's real to connect it to real identities. Maybe it was used before because there were no alternatives but now we have Monero.

Thats correct, if there were going to do some shady bussiness they would most prob use some more anon crypto out there. But again at leaset at some point they will have to go through bitcoin as todays infrastructure for many bussinesses are build around bitcoin, tho thats slowly changing as we see some exchnages opening slowly ETH pairs not only BTC. But the point is they could use crypto currency to hide from ordinary world...

Don't forget that fiat is used for shady bussiness as well.

Do you think ISIS uses Bitcoin?

If they do, it's just for fun. They have the U.S. dollar through U.S. funding to give them all they need and want in life.

ISIS is out of the way and it is defeated. We should wait for the next Jihadi group who will stand up and make the next mess up on Middle East lands. You can fight a group but you cannot fight an ideology. Why just don't the US let those pigs there kill each other if they like too, I don't understand why the US should play as the world cop ?

It's not about thinking, there are solid proof that ISIS uses bitcoins and other cryptos to fundraise their campaign.
It would be no wonder if they come up with an ICO.

Bitcoin gives a lot of advantages in every area of buying or selling different types of goods. But i think that if ISIS would use bitcoin that it would make them more easy to beat. They actually need something much more stable like a gold in a real world.

Yes, tell me what are the reasons that restrict them from using bitcoin. They are earning money by selling their oil and buying weapons with those funds and they might be using bitcoin. However since they don't have much advanced connectivity, I don't think that the percentage is anywhere more than a percent or two.

I think they use bitcoins or alt currencies. they are far quicker than to obtain dollars and coins like monero or verge can guarantee anonimity

We all know that Bitcoin is also popular to criminals because they can use it without exposing their identity. It will be more convenient to them to use Bitcoin so that they can hide their identity. Do you think that terrorist groups like ISIS use it for their transactions?
I don't see any reason why the terrorist should use bitcoin for  transactions. They can just use their money to buy things do things the same for same results. They can hide their identity but their location can be traced. Terrorist will not risk that. They prefer doing things the old way since it is proven that it is effective and it doesn't leave any trace. Terrorist will always find ways to get their funds. By the way,why do you ask? Peace bro.

Bitcoin was already known every where , that's why in my opinion I think yes because the terrorists, most of them are unidentified. Bitcoin rather are one of the fastest transactions and also its safe.

Hmm.... There are a lot of cryptos out there (such as Monero, Zcash, Blackbytes and Deep Onion) which are more anonymous than Bitcoin. BTC transactions can be easily tracked by checking the Blockchain. And another negative is that the confirmation time has grown over the last few weeks and it sometimes takes up to 2-3 days to get the necessary confirmations.

The use of bitcoins by ISIS representatives is a well-known fact. It was also found in online discussions that ISIS used virtual currency to purchase weapons.
But we need to understand that terrorists, like any other people, use all payment instruments: cash, cards, and electronic money, including bitcoins. And approximately in the same proportions as an ordinary person does

I don't think so their groups use bitcoin, if they use Bitcoin as a weapon-buying transaction, the bitcoin will ingcres higher  possible to hit $ 100 billion

Bitcoin and Altcoin are most likely to be used for crime, we all know that the excess Bitcoin and Altcoin are very supportive for use in crime, money laundering, even terrorists like ISIS. Excessive support is the delivery of coins or tokens in minutes, can not be prevented, in large numbers, the privacy of the sender and the recipient can not be known by anyone. Those things are very supportive used for crime. But we pray that things do not happen in large numbers, or maybe one day there will be developments in both Bitcoin and Altcoin in following up on those crimes.

It has been well documented that in fact they raided Syria of old Christian artefacts and then were flogging them on the dark web for bitcoin. I think that they will probably have a sizeable BTC wallet !!

Who knows?  As pointed out bitcoin is no longer truly anonymous so that would pose a disadvantage but for transferring money quickly without many of the problems with normal methods it would still be an advantage.
