I'm selling only if there's a need to do so and if possibly I've got enough then it's not regretting to sell. But I want to deal with my long term plans which is holding my bitcoin and if ever I'm going to focus holding there is an inevitable event where I need to convert my bitcoin to fiat even the price is seemingly low.

this is what we all need to be doing, only sell your bitcoins when you are in need of fiat for your personal needs.
You just might be rewarded handsomely for long term holding.

Yes this is proper planning. Very rarely we see this kind of people. I am also not spending my bitcoins for unnecessary things. Now the price is in one range if we spend our bitcoins for just doing shopping or other things it is a waste of money. I am planning to buy mining rig once my Bitcoin value reaches what I am expecting I will sell my coins, and with that money, i will buy mining rig.

Precisely, Long term investing is the real deal in the bitcoin so by just doing that thing in bitcoin that will benefit you a great amount of money that is my past regret selling in dump when I am just a panic seller but now I understand the way to earn bitcoin you just need a patience in trading.

for me timing is important because sometimes the value of coins is unstable that's why if you get the profit you targeted sell it immediately so that you earn what your goal profit is and you can invest again and estimate the value of every coins again or bitcoin it's just a routine you just need to understand the mechanics how it works

It depends for me. If it's btc, definitely i'll wait for a little.longer before i sell my btcs. If it's the other altcoins that i have, i'll look first if the profit is worth it already to let go and start a new trade. There are coins like btc that really for long term holding for maximum profits so you have to determine first which coins you'd prefer, long term or short term.

I follow charts. For cryptocurrency trading you should know how to read charts. This can give good idea about a cryptocurrency if not all. But still it isn't foolproof. I tend to keep my altcoin for a period of 20-30 days. During that time period if I was able to make decent profit. I withdraw else I leave them in altcoins expecting profit in future.

This is a good idea but you may keep one thing in mind that you should personally work on the alts that you have invested in. we cannot trust all the time on the charts because sometimes they are designed very cleverly with manipulations in the own interest instead of the others. So be careful while using a chart and better to mark calculation for you.

but i think to have a proper planning it is really very difficult, in fact bitcoin make us too much confuse  about buying and selling, some time the price start increase, in such a rate that it cover 300 to 400 USD in half day, so we become more confident even crossing our limit we still decide to hold. but when the price start decreasing then it fell down more than 500$ level in a single day, so in some time it become difficult for use to take a right decision on a right time.

I think you should hold your Bitcoin for few weeks I am sure that Bitcoin price will be 3000$ again and the price is dump temporary I also hold my Bitcoin for more few weeks I hope that bitcoin price will be increase to high value in coming few weeks so it's good time to hold your Bitcoin and do not sell.

I plan to sell when the price of bitcoin will come back at $2,700 or even at $3,000. I will sell not all of it because I'm going to keep on holding most of my bitcoins for future purposes.

Yeah that's what i'm planning to do myself. I have a normal job so as much as possible i want to hold on to my btcs for a couple of months or even years until i feel comfortable in selling or if there are forecasts that would tell of a big dump. For now, as long as it's not an emergency, i prefer to spend fiat and not to touch my btcs.

That is a nice idea you gave to me as If I will get a day job the income from which will be used by me for my expenses and other needs of the life and I will not withdraw my money invested in bitcoin so in this way I will be able to hold my bitcoins for a longer period.

i also have the same strategy, i even invested good asset in bitcoin on monthly bases, i currently not going to sell my bitcoin but going to hold it for a long time, in fact i am pretty sure about the price of bitcoin that it will continue to increase for a long long time and therefore i am going to hold bitcoin for a long long time. I am sure that bitcoin will give me a successful and bright future.

Yes, I set target what percentage of profit i get in one take action eg 5%, if target is over or under I try to see market and volume to check whether the price may rise again or go down but if the profit target has been obtained, I will play mostly safe.

i am decide to sell if i see there is increase for the price. sometimes i used satoshi only to see how much my profit, but the other time, i use a % of profit but i don't used randomly number in my head. usually, before i decide to sell, i see that the price is going to up and after i make calculation from buy order, then i can decide how much i want to take profit and sometimes i can take more than 30% in a day but its depending from the movement the coins in the market.

Good, but when you experience a 20% profit your mind expects more and will be continuing to hold and finally you'll miss the ATH. So what I've decided is to hold on the bitcoin as much possible and make a better profiting after years and should never cashout unless there's an emergency.

Well it is very good that you have keep your target of your profit because sometimes when the people didn't keep their target and want to get more and more profit wait for the high price of Bitcoin so sometimes they loss the chance when the bitcoin price becomes very decreased and then they regret, actually I had experienced this situation, that's why keeping target for your profit is very much good and now i always keep the target and then sell bitcoin.

Yes i like this strategy because if i sell around 20-50% profit and the coin goes up i won't regret because i have my other coins stock. I'm going to have many option on what percent should i sell my coin.

Whenever its giving me good profits I prefer to sell some portion of my bitcoins as I never believe in keeping my coins idle in wallet so whenever its allowing me to make profits I sell without any hesitation and buy them back when price goes down in future as price ups and downs is a common practice in bitcoins so we need to take an advantage of price fluctuations by making regular profits.
